Tonight's RAW was actually a great show. The ending was awesome, watching the Locker Room come out and fight back, than that visual of DB being held up with everybody chanting yes. I do believe that they have something special with DB, and HHH and company knows it.
We've been complaining for years that the WWE was not giving us anything old school. I don't know, since Summerslam, they've been building the old school angle with the Corporation against DB and they have a great pace going to it, but it's not the only one. What they are doing with Big Show, IMO is awesome. Show being forced to do what he doesn't want to, cause he practically has no choice is great and the emotion that he puts into it, is just great.
I'm really enjoying this and for the first time in a long time, I'm actually like the current product.

Agreed Snipe, I won't complain about tv being that good every week. Crowd loved everything. The boys finally stood up a little bit. I'm intrigued to see how Hunter and Steph respond. I like Show's position, I don't like him crying. Can he not hate doing it, but looked pissed instead of bitchy? KO Dusty, and get in Hunter's face looking like your going to KO him. If he has to cry, how bout some manly, "I'm so pissed a tear escaped" tears instead of, "my vagina hurt's, how could you do me this way???" tears But yea I've thoroughly enjoyed things since the beginning of Summer honestly. I never buy PPV's and ordered MITB and SummerSlam back to back. I haven't done that since like 00/01! I don't mind giving them money when it's good. I'm still holding out hope of Bryan vs. Punk in the Mania Main Event for the WWE title

Pretty good show overall. They've done a great job of building the feuds with DB and the Rhodes family, and now the rest of the locker room has had enough. Nice to see Reigns in singles action, and it was a very good match with Bryan. Steph was really good, outside of her voice sounding like gravel when cheeing out Orton. Heyman & Ryback were a riot. I loved the kiss on the cheek, brilliant touch.

I only dip in and out of WWE nowadays, but I happened to catch the Stephanie/Big Show/Dusty segment last night. I thought Steph was incredible and gave one of the best heel promos I've seen in a long time. I know people hate her for backstage BS, but I could care less about that. It doesn't matter to me at all. What does matter is that she was at the center of a pretty amazing segment and held it all together.

Agreed Justin, I'm more concerned with the on air product than things backstage. Stephanie and Heyman are running neck and neck for best heel in the E, IMO. If you didn't see it Justin, go back to the night after SummerSlam Raw, where Steph comes out in the opening segment to explain Hunter's actions. Her promo's have blown everything Hunter's done out of the water. I'm not a Hunter Hater like most in the IWC, but he hasn't been as good as his wife, IMO. She was great backstage with Orton as well, "until you find THAT Randy Orton, maybe we need to find a new face for the company..."
She might be the best actress on the planet; hell she not be acting at all, I don't know and I don't care, but she plays an awesome overbearing bitch on Television lol.

Everybody knows he's a soft gentle giant with a great big heart. So him crying like that shows that he doesn't want to to it, but has no choice and it breaks his heart to be in the position that he's in. That segment with Dusty, the punch, catch and lay down was so perfectly well done, and Stephanie's role was just awesome in all of that. That evil grin after he punched Dusty was awesome.

Well the problem is that Show is one of like 5 guys crying on TV though. If he was the only person crying, then sure let him be the real life softy. They want to pick and choose the pieces of reality to throw on me. So Show is a big softy IRL, we've seen him cry plenty. I can live with that, I'm emotional and was crying when Naitch retired, and at all the HOF inductions that Show was crying at, too.
I like the drama, and I love emotion being evoked by my rasslin. But Show has been crying so much, refusing to look Hunter in the eye, and all that to the point where it's negating some of the emotion for me. The Dusty segment should've made him blubber like a baby. But it would have been even better, had more impact if he'd been more mad at Hunter than sad for Bryan in previous weeks, IMO.

Yepp, totally agree with that. It's been a long time since I enjoyed as much WWE programming as I do today. That spot you're talking about with Hunter is what changed my tune on things. When I saw him do that, and Hunter's smile and Steph's look, that sold me on it being played out that way. I think everything has been working honestly, and on top of having some hot angles on top, the wrestling has been very good.
Do I hate the best tag team on the planet being jobbers? Yes I do. In case you're wondering that would be the Real Americans. Do I hate Miz being their top midcard babyface? Yea, though he played babyface in peril well last night, I will give him that. I might be willing to give him more of a chance if he would stop trying to use the figure 4. Pick a different sub bro, it kills me to see it executed so poorly. There is stuff to fix, they aren't firing on all cylinders like it's 2000, but the main events are the best they've been in a long long time.

Go figure that HBK and Mr. Perfect's love child vs. Mr. Perfect's biological child would end up being a very good match . Ziggler and Axel had me and the entire audience into everything they were doing. Too many punches were thrown in the match, but I've quit letting that quell my enthusiasm. Everyone punches too much these days. I really like Alex Riley on commentary. He and Matthews were discussing Orton/Bryan during Axel vs. Ziggler like they were Schiavone and Co. talking NWO during Cruiserweight matches, but they settled in. Riley might be improving his wrestling and persona behind the scenes, but as far as on camera goes I think he found his calling in the booth. He's better than Miz with Josh Matthews, that's for sure. His dad was in broadcasting though, so it might be natural. I would bitch about Fandango losing to Kofi, but Damien Sandow won his first match by pinfall since winning the MITB contract, so I will cut them some slack I guess haha.

Anyone watch SD! this week? My DVR cut a good chunk out of the middle due to rough weather here in my neck of the woods. Fun show though. Excellent main event from Daniel and Uso's vs. The Shield. Daniel Bryan is the best hot tag in the history of wrestling. Ever.
I know a lot of the guys here don't keep up with the current product, but seriously, check out some of that match from tonight's 9/20 episode of SD! One of the Uso's is playing babyface in peril, makes the tag to Daniel Bryan, and then he goes absolutely ballistic. Most exciting wrestler there is, and he is guaranteed to light the building on fire when he gets the hot tag. It is such a joy to watch him work.

Watched Smackdown yesterday morning. Pretty decent show. Liked the main event, but my favorite part was the look on Paul Heyman's face as they were going to break before he came out for his awesome promo. The smile and the look in his eyes as he was fawning over Ryback was priceless.

Definitely agree with you Foley. They got off to a bit of a shaky start with the Bryan/Hunter/Orton storyline but it seems that it's all been straightened out and has been pretty great of late. Personally found it funny when Big Show didn't start sobbing over having to knock out the Miz and just clocked him right away. Did he forget all about the MizShow? Or does Show just hate that figure four he does as much as I do? Only thing I couldn't figure out is why Goldust/Cody didn't go after Show for hurting their father? The Shield didn't even touch him. Though them showing up was so surprisingly awesome I'll forgive it. Hope they have a match at Hell in the Cell. (to hell with Battleground. I won't be there.)

Raw was outstanding. That reaction and promo from Punk was great, gotta love the Chicago crowds. Main Event was well done. Stephanie is such a great heel. As much as I hate his figure 4, I gotta admit, I liked the fire in Miz's eyes tonight. RVD vs. Randy Orton was really good. Everything is working right now. I wish the Real Americans weren't treated like shit, but when you give me good wrestling and storylines I can forgive a lot of stuff.
Goldust and Cody was a real highlight for me. I see what you're saying Jack, but really and truly I can see them not having a problem with Big Show. I mean all things considered I felt like Dusty chose the KO shot from Show, gave him a nod before it happened, was much more humane than feeding him to the Shield in my view. I would LOVE for Dustin and Cody to get a tag title reign out of this, even if just a short one. Dustin has been through so much, and from his Twitter and Facebook seems to be in a good place, says he is sober, he looks in great shape, and he keeps talking about retiring soon, so it would just be cool to see. If we get some Dusty promo's out of it, and Cody stays toward the top of the card where he belongs then even better.
They have been knocking it out of the park on a weekly basis since Money in the Bank, in my opinion.

I find myself *not* agreeing with the 'IWC' / wrestling sites for the first time in a long time. PWTorch in particular seems to be hating everything WWE is doing at the moment.
One of their recent columns said that Dusty is known for being a prick to fans and backstage - is that the case? Never heard that before.

I have found through the years Darth that I enjoy the WWE much more when I stay away from sites like that as much as possible. I question whether or not you will ever enjoy wrestling again if you don't like what they're doing now. Do I have complaints about things here and there? Like Show, Real Americans, no Barrett, and shit like that? Well yeah sure, but should we let that cloud our judgement on the overall quality of the product? I think not.
My question for Keller and those guys would be, the hell do you want from them? Are you so incapable of being wrong that you have to shit on it because you predicted Trips and Steph would fall flat on their face? Or cause you predicted that they'd never treat Daniel like a top of the foodchain babyface?
I have the Bleacher Report Team Stream App, and I get the Layfield Report emails. I avoid spoilers, I comment on good articles, etc. but I truly question the motives of someone NOT enjoying Raw at the moment. I mean, what do you want from your wrestling company in 2013? Not saying that you can't think Raw was bad when I think it's good, lol, I just don't know how much better they could be than they are right now. And if that ain't good enough for you then maybe you shouldn't watch. And that is ok, I ain't hating or judging you for that. If you find it boring, don't watch.
But no need to shit on my enjoyment of the product either. I haven't heard about Dusty being a prick before either. Far as I can tell all the boys love him these days. I'm sure when he closer to his prime there was plenty of politics involved, but there always are.
