The Bull was knocked unconscious and had to be helped to the locker room, we are unsure at the moment how that will affect today’s main event!!
David Crockett: Tony……The Bull……he had no warning!!! Shaska……..he……he came out of nowhere!!!

Ole Anderson:I heard David talking about those bikers, The MOD Squad, and I have heard them crowing every chance they get about how they want to take these National Tag Team Titles from Bolt and I, well boys, I will admit you have done some impressive things since coming here to the Superstation, you haven’t even been beaten yet, but I’ll tell you this, if you want to keep your unblemished record, I’d think twice about coming out here and calling us out.
Now Tony, I have been coming out on this television station for a very long time, allot longer than even I care to admit, and the one thing the people know is when I say something…I mean it. Koloffs, for months you have been running through everyone in your way, well Bolt, Dickie Slater and I have come out here and told you that those days have come to an end, and that is exactly what is going to happen next week!!! Sandy Scott, the NWA Matchmaker, is out with David and Tony when we come back from commercial break, Sandy is out to provide an update on the condition of Manny Fernandez, Sandy says that Manny looks to be suffering from a severe concussion and that the doctor feels that it would be too dangerous for Manny to face Jay Youngblood later on in the program, so Sandy is postponing the match. This announcement brings Jay Youngblood out, Youngblood refuses to accept a postponement, he says he has a signed contract, it’s valid, Manny Fernandez signed it as well, Sandy Scott and Jim Crockett endorsed it, so that match MUST happen here today, Youngblood says that if it doesn’t happen, if Manny Fernandez cannot compete, THAN HE MUST FORFIET THE TITLE TO YOUNGBLOOD!!! Scott says Youngblood is correct, though he thought Youngblood would be agreeable to postponing the match so that he could win the title in the ring, and not by a forfeit, Youngblood says he doesn’t care how he gets the title, as long as he gets it. He tells Scott to go get the belt from The Bull, and be ready to hand it over to him before the show goes off the air!!!!

Tony: Welcome back, and we are joined by the NWA World Heavyweight Champion, “The Nature Boy” Ric Flair
Ric Flair: Tony, you have to understand, being the World’s Heavyweight Champion and defending this great honor all around this wonderful country of ours, not to mention the rest of the world is more than a full time job in itself, then you take into consideration that I run a financial empire, and that no matter where I go, I never fail to leave a lady satisfied, you can understand that the demands on my time are far reaching. However, any chance I get to appear here on the Superstation, to a Nationwide audience on the greatest wrestling television program on the air today, World Championship Wrestling, and for the greatest promoter today, The Crockett Family, I am going to do everything I can to make sure I can take it.
NOW, it’s no secret that this summer, I have signed to defend this title in all corners of the US of A, against former World Champions like Kerry Von Erich, Harley Race and “The American Dream” himself, Dusty Rhodes, to some of the best wrestlers in the world today like Jerry Lawler, Jacques Rougeau, Mike Rotunda, and Magnum TA and then you have July 4th, Charlotte, North Carolina in the American Legion Stadium, against “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin.
The list is endless of men who want to be where I am, that want to be able to stand here and say that they are the best in the world in the greatest professional sport in the world today. They want to wear the custom clothes, they want to ride in the limousines, they want to fly in the Learjet, in short they want to be the man. Well gentlemen, I have said it time and time again, and this summer, you are all going to get your chances, but listen close, and camera man, go ahead and zoom in on my face here so there can be no question. Now first I want to say that I can’t wait for next week and to see Ole and T-Bolt take them no good Russians apart, and if they need someone to keep an eye on Don Kernodle for them, well they don’t have to look far because I still have a score or two to settle of my own with those commies. Wahoo McDaniel, I know you have heard, but I also know you are in the back and I don’t want any mistake, I want to make sure you hear it directly from me, I am challenging you to a match at the Great American Bash. You say you are still the man you used to be, you say that you can still whip anyone you get in the ring with, well PROVE IT!!! Take this Dog Collar, attach it to your next, I’ll attach one to mine and we’ll fight till one of us can’t fight no more. You don’t want me to call you Tully Blanchard’s guard dog anymore? Garvin: I am troubled Tony because I heard Ric Flair out here earlier and all he is doing is concentrating on all these other men and not on the one man that he should be concentrating on, ME, “Gorgeous” J!!!!!! I mean, what in the world is he talking about Harley Race, Kerry Von Erich or that fat slob Dusty Rhodes for? The only reason he should be having anything to do with any of those guys for is to ask them how it’s going to feel when he wakes up on July 5th and is just like them…A HAS BEEN!!!!

David:I have been joined by The Awesome Twosome, Wahoo McDaniel, the NWA Television Champion Tully Blanchard….and gentlemen….I just have one question…..DO YOU HAVE THE GUTS?
Wahoo: You know David Crockett, you have a little too much bravado. You are lucky that your brother is the great promoter that he is, because if he wasn’t I wouldn’t be standing here listening to you, I would take your head off and find somewhere else to wrestle. As for the challenge made by Dick Slater, I am no animal, I am no dog and wearing a collar around my neck is not something I want to do, but Dick Slater, I also don’t back down from anyone or anything. Slater, you want me to put a collar around my neck, you want to turn me into an animal? FINE, but when I tear you apart at the Great American Bash, you won’t have anyone to blame but yourself.
Tully:So let me get this straight, let me see if I can understand this properly, Hector Guerrero, a man that the NWA has time and time again forced me to defend my Television Title against, a man who time and time again has failed to take the title from me, wants one more match, and says if he doesn’t take the title from me he will leave the NWA? Well, I’ll be happy to accept that match and send you back to working a taco truck in El Paso!!! And since you have a match on the same night Wahoo, maybe you’ll be there to watch my back this time!!!
Wahoo:What is that supposed to mean?
Tully:The question isn’t what is that supposed to mean, the question is, where were you last week? I was out here defending this title and you were nowhere in sight!!!
Wahoo:Now wait one minute, you said it yourself, time and time again you have defended your title against Hector Guerrero, you said you had it, I had some personal business that had to be dealt with, and it kept me longer than I anticipated.
Tully:Personal business? PERSONAL BUSINESS? Huh, the most IMPORTANT business that you should be dealing with is the business of B&W Enterprises, and right now the crown jewel of that company is this Television Title, and keeping it around my waist is the #1 priority, and you need to remember that!!!
Wahoo is bristling, he looks like he could slug Tully Blanchard right here and now!!!
Wahoo:Now, before you say anything else, which may cause me to do something that we’ll regret and could really endanger B&W Enterprises, I am going to end this interview and take a walk, I suggest you think about what you are saying, and the consquences they could bring, before you speak to me like that again.
Wahoo walks off, and Tully doesn’t look pleased!!! David has a grin a mile long on his face!
David: It looks like you may have said a little too much Mr. Blanchard
Tully:David, you would be wise to shut your mouth, and before you start your rumor mongering that you are oh so good at, let me make this perfectly clear, despite this little……..disagreement…….things between the Awesome Twosome are fine.

Renegade by Styx is playing when we return from the break, Jay Youngblood is standing in the ring, Sandy Scott comes out soon after carrying the United States Championship, Scott climbs into the ring and asks for a microphone, Scott says that Manny Fernandez is unable to compete due to a severe concussion, and while he would prefer to postpone the match for the fans, Jay Youngblood refuses, so Scott is out here to give Jay the title by forfeit!!!
But before he can a commotion is head from the back and out to the ringside area as Manny Fernandez comes charging to the ring, officials and doctors are trying to stop him, he pushes passed all of them and climbs in the ring, Manny snatches the microphone from Sandy Scott, he says he is absolving the NWA of any and all responsibility for him, he may have a concussion, but he doesn’t care, he’ll be damned if Jay Youngblood is just handed the US Title, he says if Youngblood wants it, HE’LL HAVE TO TAKE IT!!! Sandy Scott tries to talk The Bull out of it, but the Bull tells him to get out of the ring and call for the bell because this is happening!!! Scott reluctantly agrees, ordering everyone out of the ring and telling Tommy Young to START THE MATCH!!!!
Untied States Championship:
“Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez © vs. Jay Youngblood
Youngblood is shocked that Fernandez is out here, Tommy Young still seems very concerned with Fernandez taking part in this match, Sandy Scott stays with the announcers to keep an eye on things as David gushes over The Bull and how tough he is. Youngblood takes the fight right to Fernandez, zeroing in on his head with punches and chops, but The Bull isn’t backing down and gives as good as he gets!!! The two men are in an all out brawl as David blatantly cheers on The Bull with all the gusto he can manage!! The Bull backs Youngblood into the corner and rains ten punches down on his head while the crowd counts along!!! He then hip tosses Youngblood out of the corner, climbs to the top rope and comes off with a double ax handle!!! A cover only nets a two count however, The Bull then locks in a headlock as we take a commercial break!

Youngblood has fought out of the headlock and is trading chops with the US Champion!!! The Bull starts to get the upper hand when Youngblood goes to the eyes!!!! Youngblood then repeats the eye gouge, grabs Manny by the hair and rams him head first into the turnbuckle!!! Youngblood doesn’t let up, ramming the Bull into the top turnbuckle 9 more times before dropping him to the mat with a bulldog!!!! David screams that Youngblood may permanently injure The Bull!! Youngblood makes the cover but somehow Manny kicks out!!! Youngblood is shocked, drops an elbow and covers again, but again Manny kicks out at 2!!! Youngblood argues with Tommy Young, who points at his referee badge on his chest and tells Youngblood to back off!! While Youngblood is arguing, Manny rolls Youngblood up!!!! Youngblood kicks out right before Young counts 3!!!!!
Youngblood quickly gets to his feet and nails Manny with a vicious chop to the throat!!!! Youngblood then tosses Manny out of the ring!!! Youngblood follows Manny out and bashes his head into the ring apron, then bodyslams him on the floor!!!! Youngblood rolls Manny into the ring, then heads to the top rope, Youngblood measures Manny and as soon as the Bull is on his feet, Youngblood takes flight, but instead of connecting with his big chop, Youngblood gets nailed with a punch to the gut!!!!!! Manny looks dazed, with a glassy look in his eyes, he tries to shake it off as Youngblood gets to his feet and fires off chops!!! Manny answers back with chops of his own!!! Youngblood goes back to the eyes, but Manny answers in turn!!!! Manny grabs Youngblood and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Youngblood reverses and hits Manny with a backdrop!!! Youngblood then grabs Manny and hits a German Suplex!!! Youngblood bridges!!!! Manny barely kicks out before the 3!!! David is about to have a heart attack cheering for Manny to get up, to beat Judas!!! Youngblood is enraged, he yells at Tommy Young again, and even screams at David at the podium, he slaps Manny in the back of the head several times as The Bull tries to get to his feet. Youngblood finally grabs The Bull and pulls him into a front headlock, trying to set up a vertical suplex, but Manny blocks it!!! Youngblood tries for the suplex again, Manny again blocks it and then reverses into an inside cradle!!!! Youngblood is stunned and is unable to kick out before Tommy Young counts three!!!!!! Youngblood springs to his feet and argues with Young that it was only a two count, but Young pushes passed him, hands the US Title to Manny Fernandez and raises his hand in victory!!!
Youngblood stomps around the ring, yelling at no one in particular before charging Manny and clobbering him with a running clothesline!!!!! Young tells Youngblood to back off, but Youngblood goes at Tommy and Tommy wisely jumps out of the ring!!! Youngblood yells at The Bull, all the while kicking at him!!!! Sandy Scott, the NWA Matchmaker, is out with David and Tony when we come back from commercial break, Sandy is out to provide an update on the condition of Manny Fernandez, Sandy says that Manny looks to be suffering from a severe concussion and that the doctor feels that it would be too dangerous for Manny to face Jay Youngblood later on in the program, so Sandy is postponing the match. This announcement brings Jay Youngblood out, Youngblood refuses to accept a postponement, he says he has a signed contract, it’s valid, Manny Fernandez signed it as well, Sandy Scott and Jim Crockett endorsed it, so that match MUST happen here today, Youngblood says that if it doesn’t happen, if Manny Fernandez cannot compete, THAN HE MUST FORFIET THE TITLE TO YOUNGBLOOD!!! Scott says Youngblood is correct, though he thought Youngblood would be agreeable to postponing the match so that he could win the title in the ring, and not by a forfeit, Youngblood says he doesn’t care how he gets the title, as long as he gets it. You are lucky that your brother is the great promoter that he is, because if he wasn’t I wouldn’t be standing here listening to you, I would take your head off and find somewhere else to wrestle. As for the challenge made by Dick Slater, I am no animal, I am no dog and wearing a collar around my neck is not something I want to do, but Dick Slater, I also don’t back down from anyone or anything. Slater, you want me to put a collar around my neck, you want to turn me into an animal? FINE, but when I tear you apart at the Great American Bash, you won’t have anyone to blame but yourself.
Tully:So let me get this straight, let me see if I can understand this properly, Hector Guerrero, a man that the NWA has time and time again forced me to defend my Television Title against, a man who time and time again has failed to take the title from me, wants one more match, and says if he doesn’t take the title from me he will leave the NWA? Well, I’ll be happy to accept that match and send you back to working a taco truck in El Paso!!! And since you have a match on the same night Wahoo, maybe you’ll be there to watch my back this time!!!
Wahoo:What is that supposed to mean?

Renegade by Styx is playing when we return from the break, Jay Youngblood is standing in the ring, Sandy Scott comes out soon after carrying the United States Championship, Scott climbs into the ring and asks for a microphone, Scott says that Manny Fernandez is unable to compete due to a severe concussion, and while he would prefer to postpone the match for the fans, Jay Youngblood refuses, so Scott is out here to give Jay the title by forfeit!!!
But before he can a commotion is head from the back and out to the ringside area as Manny Fernandez comes charging to the ring, officials and doctors are trying to stop him, he pushes passed all of them and climbs in the ring, Manny snatches the microphone from Sandy Scott, he says he is absolving the NWA of any and all responsibility for him, he may have a concussion, but he doesn’t care, he’ll be damned if Jay Youngblood is just handed the US Title, he says if Youngblood wants it, HE’LL HAVE TO TAKE IT!!! Sandy Scott tries to talk The Bull out of it, but the Bull tells him to get out of the ring and call for the bell because this is happening!!! Scott reluctantly agrees, ordering everyone out of the ring and telling Tommy Young to START THE MATCH!!!!

Youngblood is shocked that Fernandez is out here, Tommy Young still seems very concerned with Fernandez taking part in this match, Sandy Scott stays with the announcers to keep an eye on things as David gushes over The Bull and how tough he is. Youngblood takes the fight right to Fernandez, zeroing in on his head with punches and chops, but The Bull isn’t backing down and gives as good as he gets!!! The two men are in an all out brawl as David blatantly cheers on The Bull with all the gusto he can manage!! The Bull backs Youngblood into the corner and rains ten punches down on his head while the crowd counts along!!! He then hip tosses Youngblood out of the corner, climbs to the top rope and comes off with a double ax handle!!! A cover only nets a two count however, The Bull then locks in a headlock as we take a commercial break!

Youngblood then repeats the eye gouge, grabs Manny by the hair and rams him head first into the turnbuckle!!! Youngblood doesn’t let up, ramming the Bull into the top turnbuckle 9 more times before dropping him to the mat with a bulldog!!!! David screams that Youngblood may permanently injure The Bull!! Youngblood makes the cover but somehow Manny kicks out!!! Youngblood is shocked, drops an elbow and covers again, but again Manny kicks out at 2!!! Youngblood argues with Tommy Young, who points at his referee badge on his chest and tells Youngblood to back off!! While Youngblood is arguing, Manny rolls Youngblood up!!!! Youngblood kicks out right before Young counts 3!!!!!
Youngblood quickly gets to his feet and nails Manny with a vicious chop to the throat!!!! Youngblood then tosses Manny out of the ring!!! Youngblood follows Manny out and bashes his head into the ring apron, then bodyslams him on the floor!!!! Youngblood rolls Manny into the ring, then heads to the top rope, Youngblood measures Manny and as soon as the Bull is on his feet, Youngblood takes flight, but instead of connecting with his big chop, Youngblood gets nailed with a punch to the gut!!!!!! Manny looks dazed, with a glassy look in his eyes, he tries to shake it off as Youngblood gets to his feet and fires off chops!!! Manny answers back with chops of his own!!! Youngblood goes back to the eyes, but Manny answers in turn!!!! Manny grabs Youngblood and tries to whip him into the ropes, but Youngblood reverses and hits Manny with a backdrop!!! Youngblood then grabs Manny and hits a German Suplex!!! Youngblood bridges!!!! Manny barely kicks out before the 3!!! David is about to have a heart attack cheering for Manny to get up, to beat Judas!!! Youngblood is enraged, he yells at Tommy Young again, and even screams at David at the podium, he slaps Manny in the back of the head several times as The Bull tries to get to his feet. Youngblood finally grabs The Bull and pulls him into a front headlock, trying to set up a vertical suplex, but Manny blocks it!!! Youngblood tries for the suplex again, Manny again blocks it and then reverses into an inside cradle!!!! Youngblood is stunned and is unable to kick out before Tommy Young counts three!!!!!! Youngblood springs to his feet and argues with Young that it was only a two count, but Young pushes passed him, hands the US Title to Manny Fernandez and raises his hand in victory!!!
Youngblood stomps around the ring, yelling at no one in particular before charging Manny and clobbering him with a running clothesline!!!!! Young tells Youngblood to back off, but Youngblood goes at Tommy and Tommy wisely jumps out of the ring!!! Youngblood yells at The Bull, all the while kicking at him!!!! Youngblood then positions the US Title belt on the mat, pulls Manny up by the hair, AND STARTS TO SET HIM UP FOR A PILEDRIVER ON THE US TITLE!!! David is screaming that Youngblood is trying to end Manny Fernandez’s career, but before that can happen
