*”Outlaws of Wrestling” Opening set to the theme from “The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly”.
*Les Thatcher & Tux Newman open the show and welcome the fans back to the Graham Central Station in Albuquerque. The announcers let the fans know that this is the 'final stretch' towards the big card at the Thomas & Mack Center in Las Vegas and the Wild West Tag Team Championship Tournament.
The announcers then continue by hyping up the upcoming tag team tournament with Les mentioning that the final spot in the tournament had yet to be decided but that it would be right here today. Newman took exception to this and said that his team, the Deathstars should be in that spot and that he 'can't wait to see' who 'Cowboy' Scott Casey's partner was or just exactly what other team WWW Matchmaker Tito Montez had lined up in this 'travesty of a sham'.
The program then goes to break with Thatcher letting the fans know that here on the program today they will also be seeing some highlights of the big Tag Team Battle Royal that took place last month at the Thomas & Mack Center with Tux concluding that this was the best decision anyone involved in the show had made in 'several weeks'.
Les went to break by letting the fans know that the last spot in the tournament would be determined when more Wild West Wrestling returns.

*When action returns Wild West match maker Tito Montez joins Thatcher and Newman at the announce area and apologizes for holding up the proceedings because he is 'certain' that the fans are ready to get to the ring for action, but first he needs to do one thing. He needs to take care of the 'formality' of getting a contract signed for the big Wild West Heavyweight Title match coming up on the 31st. Tito says that he hasn't been able to get both men together to sign off on the match, but that he knows they are both here today and that he would like for challenger Davey Boy Smith and champion Jacques Rougeau to come out to the announce area right now and take care of the matter. Both men oblige and things start out with a lot of respect between the two men, but mixing an Englishman with a French-Canadian is like mixing oil and water and things progress and become more confrontational as both men finally 'sign on the dotted line'. It never looked like things were going to come to blows between the two men but it does appear as though this is going to be a little more than a friendly rivalry when the two meet for the title at the Thomas & Mack Center.
*As the program is about to go to break, Thatcher confirmed with Montez that we would, indeed, decide the final spot in the tag team tournament field when the program returned.

*It's now time for the qualifying match for the Wild West Tag Team Title Tournament and as the program returns we see just exactly who the team 'From New York City' is as the Valiant Brothers have already invaded the ring and are talking trash. Jerry & Johnny are a bit 'long in the tooth' these days, but five years ago they still 'ruled the roost' as tag team champions in NYC. Tux Newman is beside himself at the site of the Valiants and leaves the announce area and heads to the ring where he hops up on the ring apron and then appears to OFFER HIS SERVICES TO THE VALIANTS! Jerry & Johnny seem to be listening as Newman continues to try and tell them everything that they want to hear when Tux's two other teams the Deathstars and the Interns come up behind the oblivious Newman and stand on the floor behind him with their arms crossed. The Valiants point this out and things quickly turn into Tux having some 'explaining' to do to his two charges as he backs his way down the aisle. As Newman and his men are clearing out it is now time to see who Scott Casey has convinced to team with him and he does not disappoint as Ron Bass steps through the curtain and both men storm the ring.

1)The Cowboys: Ron Bass & Scott Casey defeated The Valiant Brothers: Jerry & Johnny at 0:20 when Casey & Bass simultaneously pinned both Valiants and the referee, unsure of the legal man, counted a fall with each hand. The Valiants, having not even removed their ring jackets, attacked the Cowboys as they hit the ring, but Casey and Bass reversed things when the Valiants tried to whip the two Cowboys into one another and instead ended up bumping heads with one another. From there, Casey backed one Valiant back into the corner for the running bulldog, while Bass scooped the other Valiant up for a big Stampede power slam to get the double fall and advance into the tournament.

*The match had ended before Newman could even clear his men completely from the ringside area and an angry Tux was able to talk his way out of trouble and turn the wrath of his two rather large teams back toward the ring and the Cowboys, but no sooner than Newman's men had surrounded the ring then Magnum Force ran in and hit the ring to even the odds and we had a four on four stand off with three of the teams in the tag team title tournament! Newman now suddenly thought better of the situation and led his men away from the ringside area without incident.
*The program went to break with some highlights set to music of one of the teams coming in to compete in Wild West Tag Team Championship Tournament, The Samoans: Afa & Samu. (This is the same video as previous weeks. It fades to break before it is complete.)

*Action returns and Newman has now replaced Montez in the announce area. Les needles Tux about him 'two-timing' his 'two teams' and Newman responds by saying he was simply offering his help to the Valiants for 'one night only' and was doing so to help his Interns as it would be a lot more favorable to his men to have a team like Jerry & Johnny in tournament than a younger team like Casey and Bass. Thatcher followed up by verifying with Tux that Newman thought his men could beat the Valiants and Tux responded with 'absolutely'. Les then added 'but not the Cowboys...' , to which Newman said 'I did not say that. Stop trying to put words in my mouth and do your job!'

2)George Wells pinned Johnny K-9 at 6:45 following a big flying shoulder tackle off of the 2nd turnbuckle.
-
-
-
*Following the contest, Newman continues to spout off about how his team were going to be the first ever Wild West Tag Team Champions. He completely ignores the match at hand, but Thatcher, ever the professional, steers things back towards Wells performance as he picked up a big win here today on television.
*The program went to break with some highlights set to music of one of the teams coming in to compete in Wild West Tag Team Championship Tournament, The New Zealand Sheepherders: Jonathan Boyd & Luke Williams. Inserted this week were some comments from Boyd about the tournament and hating the 'bloody Yanks' and how he and 'cousin Luke' would be taking the belts back to New Zealand with them because they would 'settle for nothing less' than becoming the tag team champions here in Wild West Wrestling.

*Action returns with Les Thatcher telling Newman that it is time to see another team that will be participating in the big tournament and a team that he thinks might surprise a lot of people in the ring as the team of Billy Anderson & Scott McGhee have been teaming for a couple of months and always put up a 'tough fight'. Tux responds by saying that they 'don't stand a chance', particularly if they end up across the ring from the Interns.
-
-
-
3)Billy Anderson & Scott McGhee defeated John Ringer & Jack Kreuger at 8:15 when McGhee pinned Ringer with a German suplex with a bridge. Anderson and McGhee showed a lot of good chemistry throughout the contest.

*The program then goes to break with Thatcher letting everyone know that we will be hearing some 'final words' from both of the participants in the big Steel Cage Match coming up at the Thomas & Mack Center.

*When the program returns, Thatcher & Newman talk about the feud between Harley Race and Jos LeDuc and then toss to some highlights from the recent 'Lumberjack Match' between the two at the Thomas & Mack Center in which there was no winner because the fight spilled over into the crowd and the lumberjacks were unable to get both men back into the ring. Thatcher says that as a result of that match, and 'for the safety of the fans' that WWW Representative Tito Montez has signed a Steel Cage match between the two men when Wild West Wrestling returns to Las Vegas. (Brief Clip)
*The program went to break with some comments from both Harley Race and Jos LeDuc about the upcoming match. Both men were positioned behind the steel mesh as they talked about the contest.
RACE: “You know LeDuc... This steel... This is the most certain... The most finite way that I know to get my message across to you. They say this is being done with the safety of the fans in mind. But they didn't say anything about it being for your own safety. Now you say that when we step into this cage that it's going to end... Well I'm just the man to make sure that it does.”
LEDUC: “Har Race... A long time ago I made a 'BLOOD OAT'. Today I do it again! I say it end and it gonna' end in the cage.”
A wild eyed LeDuc then raked his own forehead across the mesh until it was a bloody mess. He then stopped and cocked his eye at the camera...
LEDUC: “Now what do you think about that, Har Race? Do you think I crazy? No... no... no... I no crazy Mister Race. You just remember one thing and you remember good... If I do this to myself... What do you think I gonna do to you?”

4)Jos LeDuc defeated Rick Davidson by submission at 4:01 when he forced Davidson to submit to a stump puller. Davidson is a big guy and knows his way around the ring but it was only a matter of minutes before the ruthless LeDuc had him begging for mercy.

-
*After the match, LeDuc continued apply the hold until he was threatened with disqualification. He then got in a few cheap shots on his opponent for good measure as he loudly called out Race.

*The remainder of the show was dedicated to showing the big 'Tag Team Battle Royal' in its entirety. Newman is ecstatic about the proceedings as his team, the Interns win the whole thing by last eliminating Magnum Force when a previously eliminated Intern climbed out from under the ring and knocked Scott Hall over the top rope from behind after Hall thought he had won the match.
*Thatcher and Newman then promoted the big tag team title tournament with taped comments from both The Interns and Magnum Force airing about their upcoming match up in the opening round of the tournament and the Force vowing to avenge their loss in the tag team battle royal and the recent beat down at the hand of Newman's men.
*The show concluded with Thatcher letting everyone know that the program would be back here next week with highlights of the big show from the Thomas & Mack Center, as well as some more great in ring action, including our first look at the new Wild West Tag Team Champions.

NON TELEVISED MAIN EVENT:
5) WWW Heavyweight Champion Jacques Rougeau pinned Davey Boy Smith at 30:43 to retain the title when he wiggled out of Smith's delayed standing vertical suplex attempt and slid down his back and into a rolling reverse cradle with a bridge to get the fall and retain the title. (12th defense)

1-Scott McGhee pinned Jerry Oske (9:00 – German Suplex w/ bridge)
2-Magnum Force: Dave Peterson & Scott Hall defeated Rene Goulet & Duke Myers. (12:00 – Rocket Launcher)
*Peterson pinned Goulet...
3-Harley Race battled Jos LeDuc to a 'no contest' in a 'taped fist match'. (15:45 – Double KO)
*It wasn't the taped fists that did both men in, though they did plenty of damage. Both men knocked each other silly when they headbutted each other at the same time. Race tumbled backwards and fell through the ropes to the floor, while LeDuc was counted down in the ring...
4-'Wildman' Jack Armstrong pinned Billy Anderson (9:45 – Running Knee Lift)
5-The Interns 1 & #2 (w/Tux Newman) defeated 'Cowboy' Scott Casey & George Wells (15:00 – 'Decapitation Device')
*Casey and Wells put in a good effort but clearly weren't used to teaming together and it showed in the end when a Tux Newman distraction allowed the two Interns to cheap shot Casey, knock him off the aprong and then and then catch Wells with the over the knee backbreaker/off the 2nd rope elbow drop combination for the victory...
6-WWW Heavyweight Champion Jacques Rougeau pinned Davey Boy Smith (26:17 – Victory Roll)
*Rougeau again countered Smith's standing vertical suplex with a reverse cradle into a bridge but this time he got only a two count as Davey Boy managed to escape. Action continued and Smith was able to attempt the running power slam, but Jacques slid off of his back and shoved Davey hard into the corner chest first. Smith staggered backwards and Jacques hopped up onto Davey's shoulders and completed a victory roll to retain the title... (13th defense)
