Announcer: Lance Russell
Referees: Paul Neighbors & Jerry Calhoun.
-1- Mark “Rollerball” Rocco pinned Barry O when he connected with the flying knee drop off the top rope.
-2- Shawn Michaels pinned Dave “Fit” Finlay at 9:02 when he connected with a cross-body block off the top rope.
-3- Ted Dibiase defeated Stan Lane at 13:45 when he forced Lane to submit to the Figure Four. Dibiase gets another major win, and takes time to shake hands with the fans around ringside.
-4- Killer Khan (w/ Scandor Akbar) defeated ”Macho Man” Randy Savage at 10:11 by disqualification when Savage lost total control and drilled Khan with the ring bell. Savage was in a frenzy after the bell and he knocked Khan again with the bell, sending Khan backwards to tie himself up into the ropes. Savage began decking him with rights and lefts, drawing blood on the big man. Eddie Marlin and several wrestlers arrived to pull Savage away, and shockingly the bloody Khan was able to stumble away on his power even after the brutal assault by the “Macho Man”.
INTERMISSION
-5- The First Family: Big Bubba Rogers, “Wild” Bill Irwin & Norvell Austin (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Southern Tag Team Champions ”Handsome” Jimmy Valiant & Tommy Rich and Terry Taylor at 13:03 when Big Bubba Rogers connected with the Bubba Slam on Jimmy Valiant to score a pin, ending an absolutely wild brawl.
-6- Koko B. Ware (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated CWA Heavyweight Champion Jerry “The King” Lawler at 17:21 by count-out when Lawler could not return to the ring by the count of 10. The two were brawling on the floor, while Bill Dundee made his way down to ringside to seemingly shoo away Jimmy Hart. Dundee chased Hart, who then grabbed the referee and hid behind him. Dundee used the distraction to grab a steel chair and crack an unsuspecting Lawler across the back. Dundee then threatened to hit the fallen Koko B. Ware, but took off as the referee turned around and began the count. Koko managed to crawl back into the ring just in time to beat Lawler, but he did not win the belt.
-7- Southern Heavyweight Champion Dutch Mantell pinned The Masked Superstar at 16:45 when he connected with the hangman’s neck-breaker on the very capable challenger to score yet another huge win ahead of his match against NWA Champion Ric Flair on 7/21 here at the Mid South Coliseum.
