Marc Lowrance opens the show.
Lowrance, "Welcome to the 'Firecracker Spectacular'! We have an unbelievable two hours of action, the American Heavyweight Title will be decided, the tag titles are up for grabs, Rip Oliver takes on Billy Jack Haynes, and more! Let's go to Joe Rinelli and get things underway."
Match #1
Steve Regal vs. Steve Simpson
Two talented youngsters open the show. Both men begin with caution. They know one mistake will cost them the match. Regal whips Simpson into the ropes and waits for a back drop. Simpson tries a sunset flip and gets a two count. The pace of the match quickens. Both pull out all stops. The end comes when Simpson goes to the top rope and hits a flying bodypress.

Spike Huber vs. The Magic Dragon
The masked man from Macau takes on the young powerhouse from Indiana. The bell rings and the Dragon goes to work. He chops and kicks and Huber is in trouble. Spike fights back with good old fashioned rights and lefts. Huber scoops up the Dragon and slams him to the mat. Spike goes for the cover and referee David Manning counts the fall.
Winner-Spike Huber
Billy Jack Haynes is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Billy Jack Haynes. Billy, you and Rip Oliver were at each other’s throats in Portland, and new here in Dallas. You two just don’t like one another.”
Haynes, “I don’t like anything about Oliver. He doesn’t wrestle. he tries to cripple people. I want to give the fans and good match and may the best man win, but that’s not what he wants. Tonight won’t be a wrestling match, it will be a fight! Oliver, if you think you can beat me, you;ve got another thing coming! I’m going to the ring to make sure you pay for all the people you hurt!”

Billy Jack Haynes vs. Rip Oliver w/The Iron Sheik
Billy will have to keep an eye on the Iron Sheik. The “Clan” has been very impressive since arriving in Texas. The bell rings and the two old foes lock up. Billy has the strength advantage and uses it early in the match. Haynes scoops up Oliver and slams him to the mat. Rip rolls out of the ring and confers with the Iron Sheik. He returns to the ring and lands a boot to Haynes’ midsection. Oliver goes to work. Haynes is in trouble. He slumps in the corner and Rip puts the boots to him. Billy fights his way out of the corner. They tumble through the ropes and continue to brawl on the floor. Referee Bronko Lubich begins to count. Both men ignore him and continue to brawl. Lubich reaches 20 and counts out both men.

Mike and Lance Von Erich vs. Kelly Kiniski and Chick Donovan
Two Von Erichs take to the ring to meet a good young team. Lance and Donovan begin the match. Lance uses his quickness and Donovan his strength. Lance looks very good and Chick is frustrated. He tries the illegal tactics. They don't work so he tags in Kiniski. The second generation wrestler goes after Lance. Mike tags in and goes to work. The match continues be fast paced. Mike hits a flying bodypress for the win.
Winners-Mike and Lance Von Erich
The Fantastics is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me are, Bobby Fulton and Tommy Rogers, the Fantastics. Gentlemen, you take on the Nightmares. They are undefeated since arriving here."
Rogers, "we don't take those two lightly. Davis and Wayne are two of the best tag team wrestlers around. Bobby and I are very proud of these titles, and we plan on keeping them for a long time. The Nightmares are good, but we are ready for them!"
Fulton, "They think those stars painted on their faces intimidate people, well not Tommy and I. We love Texas, and we love the fans. We're not going to let them down. These titles belong to us!"
Lowrance, "The tag team title match is next."

American Tag Team Championship
The Fantastics (Champions) vs. The Nightmares
Two very talented teams face off for the titles. Both teams are quick, skilled units. The bell rings at it's Danny Davis and Bobby Fulton in the ring. They exchange holds and counter holds. Davis uses the hair to take Fulton down. The Nightmare goes to work on Bobby's arm. Ken Wayne tags in and continues the assault on Fulton's arm. Bobby is in trouble and the Nightmares tag in and out. Finally, Fulton escapes and tags in Rogers. Tommy clears the ring. The Nightmares plan strategy and return to the ring.tje battle continues with both teams tagging in and out. All four men end up on the ring. In the confusion Rogers rolls up Wayne and referee David Manning counts the fall. The Fantastics retain the titles.

Iceman King Parsons is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me is Iceman King Parsons. Ice, you meet Chris Adams for the American Heavyweight Title. Are you ready?"
Parsons, "Have mercy, Marc Lowrance, have mercy! Chris Adams is good, Gary Hart is smart, and Sunshine is one fine young lady, but the Iceman came for the title, and I'm leaving with the title, 'cause mama says, 'It bees that way, sometime!"
Lowrance, "Iceman is ready. Let's go to pre recorded comments from Chris Adams, Gary Hart and Sunshine."
We see Adams, Hart and Sunshine in the interview area.
Hart, "The American Heavyweight Title is one of the most prestigious titles in wrestling. It's time for Christopher Adams to take that title and as end to the top of the wrestling scene."
Sunshine, "Iceman, you're just like the Von Erichs, a phoney! I came back to Texas to take care of people like you, and tonight, Chris is going to do that for me!"
Adams, "Iceman, we used to be friends, just like the Von Erichs. You were all holding me down. Now I'm here to beat you and be the American Heavyweight Champion!"

American Heavyweight Championship
Iceman King Parsons vs. Chris Adams w/"Playboy" Gary Hart and Sunshine
The tension is thick at Reunion Arena. The crowd is behind the Iceman, and the hate, the turncoat, Adams. Sunshine puts the badmouth on Parsons. The bell rings and they lock up. Parsons grabs a side headlock. Adams shoots Iceman into the ropes. Chris drops him with a shoulder tackle. Adams goes to work Parsons. Hart and Sunshine are very confident. Chris goes for a cover, but Parsons kicks out before referee David Manning counts three. The Dallas crowd gets behind Parsons. Iceman whips Adams into the ropes and clamps on a sleephold. Adams gets to the ropes and the hold is broken. Hart and Sunshine have changed their tune. They now seemed very worried. Parsons moves in and Adams lands a boot to the midsection. Now Chris is on control. He punishes Iceman and hits the superkick. He covers Parsons and Manning counts 1...2...3! Sunshine takes the title and puts it around Adams' waist. Gary Hart is on top of Texas wrestling again!
Winner-Chris Adams (New American Heavyweight Champion)
Marc Lowrance closes the show.
Lowrance, "What a night! Chris Adams is the Champion! That ends our TV broadcast. We have several more big matches, including Kerry vs. Ric Flair. Stay tuned to our broadcasts for more information."

Texas Championship
Kevin Von Erich (Champion) vs. "Exotic" Adrian Street w/Miss Linda
Street and Miss Linda are in the ring with referee Bronko Lubich. We hear,
Kevin makes his way to the ring. The crowd goes crazy. In a short period of time, Adrian Street has become one of the most hated man in Texas. Street prances around the ring and this infuriates the crowd even more. Kevin tries to lock up, but Street offers his hand, to be kissed. Kevin steps back. They finally lock up. Street is very accomplished wrestler with a unique European style. Kevin is an American fighter. Kevin goes to work on Street. He hammers away at Street. Adrian is in trouble and he rolls out of the ring and is consoled by Miss Linda. She brushes his hair and pats him on the back. Street comes back to the ring. The match continues and it is even and it gets more and more physical. Kevin goes for the sleephold, but Steet gets to the ropes. Adrian goes to the roughhouse tactics, but Kevin matches him punch for punch. Street traps Kevin in the ropes and pounds away. Kevin fights his way out and takes Street to the mat. Street fights to his feet. Both end up near the ropes. Street takes Kevin down and goes for the cover. He uses the ropes for leverage. Kevin tries to kick out, but he can’t. Lubich counts three and we have a new Texas Champion! The crowd is livid, Kevin is livid, but Street is the Champion!
Winner-Adrian Street (New Texas Champion)
Marc Lowrance is in the ring.
Lowrance, "Fans, what a night of wrestling! We may not like it, but Adrian Street is the Texas Champion. I'm sure Kevin Von Erich will not take this lying down. I am now here to talk about or next match. This a special event for us. The North American Title that is very prestigious. It is based in the Mid South region of Louisiana, Mississippi and Oklahoma. Let me introduce the challenger, from Arlington, TX, weighing in at 235 pounds, Brian Adias! And now the North American Champion, you all will recognize this music.
Michael Hayes struts down the aisle. He enters the ring and moonwalks over to Lowrance and takes the mic.
Hayes, "Hello Texas! I see everybody is as ugly and stupid as they were when we left! I just watched one of the idiot Von Erichs lose a title, things don't change in this cesspool! Now I'm going to Brian Adias, because I'm a 'Freebird' and we do what we want, when we want!"
North American Championship
Michael Hayes (Champion) vs. Brian Adias
The crowd is in shock, Michael Hayes is back in Texas! Adias is a good test for the leader of the Freebirds. Brian proves that early as he goes after Hayes. Adias takes Hayes down and gets a quick two count. He whips Michael into the ropes and backdrops him to the mat. Hayes is stunned. Adias pulls him to his feet and tries to shoot him into the turnbuckles. Hayes reverses it and shoots Adias into the corner. This is the break Hayes needed. He goes to work on Adias. He works over Adias and uses the bulldog for the win. The crowd is still stunned.

NWA World Championship
Ric Flair (Champion) vs. Kerry Von Erich
Marc Lowrance and referee Bronko Lubich wait in the ring.
Plays and the Challenger comes to the ring. The "Modern Day Warrior" enters the ring and the Dallas crowd goes crazy. Kerry paces like a caged tiger. We now hear,
Ric Flair walks slowly to the ring. The World Champion is always calm, confident and in control. He climbs into the ring and the boos get louder. Lubich goes through the instructions. Kerry is a bundle of energy and Flair makes him wait. He takes an eternity to remove his robe. Finally the bell rings and they lock up. Kerry stays aggressive. He takes the fight to the Champion. Kerry scoops up Flair and goes for a cover. Flair kicks out at one. Kerry goes for the claw. He gets it on! Flair fights his way to the ropes and Lubich calls for the break. Flair is in trouble. Ric didn't win the title without tricks in his bag. He rakes the eyes and Kerry is stopped in his tracks. Flair is a ring general and he shows why. The next few minutes belong to the World Champion. He works over Kerry and it looks like Flair will retain the title. Not so fast! Kerry draws strength from the Reunion Arena fans. He rebounds and takes the fight to Flair. Now it looks like we may have a title change. Kerry controls the action. Flair is desperate. Suddenly, there is a commotion in the aisle. Michael Hayes comes to ringside. This can't be good. Hayes yells at Von Erich. Kerry turns toward Hayes. They begin to argue. Flair approaches from behind. Kerry turns and backdrops Flair over the top rope! Lubich calls for the bell! He disqualifies Kerry! Hayes and Flair stand together in the aisle. They laugh and point at Kerry. Von Erich is denied the World Title again!
