Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, "Welcome to 'World Class Championship Wrestling'. We have an exciting show for you tonight. We will see the Nightmares in action, as well as Kevin and Kerry Von Erich. We have an American Heavyweight Title tournament match between Killer Brooks and Iceman King Parsons, and later in the show, we will hear from NWA President Jim Crockett. He will tell us who faces Ric Flair on July 7. Let's go to the ring."
Match #1
Fishman and Blue Panther vs. The Nightmares
This will be a battle of four very quick men. Blue Panther stars against Ken Wayne. Wayne goes to work and the masked man is on the run. Wayne clamps pn a sleephold, but Panther gets to the ropes. The Blue Panther tags in, as does Danny Davis. They go back and forth until Davis hits the side Russian legsweep for the win.
Winners-The Nightmares
Fritz, and Kerry Von Erich are seated in the studio with Bill Mercer.
Mercer, "With me are, Fritz,and Kerry Von Erich. Let's get right to the point. Kerry, you have been stripped of the American Heavyweight Title, and barred from the tournament to fill the title. How do you feel about that?"
Kerry, "I don't like it, but what can I do? I just have to move on."
Mercer, "Now let me turn to Fritz. Later in the program, we will hear from NWA President Jim Crockett. He will announce who will challenge Ric Flair on July 7. Gary Hart thinks ot should be Chris Adams, you think it should be Kerry."
Fritz "We feel Kerry came so close at Texas Stadium. We think he deserves a rematch. Adams, or Hernandez haven't beaten Kerry, so I don't think they deserve a title shot."
Mercer, "We will hear from Jim Crockett later in the program."

Kerry Von Erich vs. Hoot Gibson
Gibson is a game Texan, Kerry is a superstar Texan. Gibson gives his all, but Kerry Is too much. The Von Erich claw ends things.

Kevin Von Erich (Texas Champion) vs. Chick Donovan
Donovan and referee Rick Hazzard wait in the ring. We hear,
Kevin makes his way to the ring. The crowd goes crazy. Donovan uses his strength to combat Kevin's athleticism. Donovan goes for the illegal tactics and Kevin is in trouble. Kevin's temper boils over and he goes to work. Finally, he lands the flying bodypress for the win. As Hazzard raises Kevin's hand, Adrian Street and Miss Linda come to ringside. Street takes the house mic.
Street, "Kevin Von Erich, you are a fine specimen of Texas manhood. There are so many things I'd like to do to you in the ring. Miss Linda could do so much with her makeup."
Kevin grabs the mic from Marc Lowrance.
Kevin, "Listen Street, everyone knows you're a freak, but I also know you're a great wrestler! You want to get inside my head, but I'm not letting you! You want a shot at the Texas Title, you've got, any place, any time!"
Street, "This will be delicious."
Winner-Kevin Von Erich
Bill Mercer is back in the studio.
Mercer, "Kevin Von Erich and Adrian Street will be a great match. I hope they can sign it quickly. Now, it's time to hear from NWA President Jim Crockett. He will announce who will challenge Ric Flair, at Reunion Arena, on July 7."
We see Jim Crockett seated at a desk with the NWA banner behind him.
Crockett, "Hello wrestling fans, I am, James Crockett, the President of the National Wrestling Alliance. On July 7, 'World Class Championship Wrestling' will present a great wrestling show at Reunion Arena in Dallas. The World Champion, Ric Flair, will defend the title on that night. He was scheduled to meet the American Heavyweight Champion. Due to several circumstances, there is no American Champion, and there will be none until that night. We need a challenger. World Class is one of the strongest members of the NWA and they have a great roster of talent. The NWA Board of Directors met to choose a challenger. We considered many fine wrestlers, and we decided on one. On July 7, Ric Flair will face Kerry Von Erich in a World Title match. Kerry Von Erich is a former World Champion and took Ric Flair to the limit in April. We look forward to a great match."
Mercer, "Kerry Von Erich will face Ric Flair on July 7, I think the fans are happy, and it will be a great match."

Al Madril vs. Kelly Kiniski
The veteran Madril takes on the young, second generation, wrestler. Kiniski is very aggressive and he looks very good early. Madril is back on his heels. Kiniski covers Al and uses the ropes for leverage. Madril kicks out at two. Kiniski whips Madril into the ropes and goes for a clothesline. Madril ducks and comes off the ropes with a flying forearm. This turns the tide. Madril takes over and wins with the Indian deathlock.
Winner-Al Madril
Iceman King Parsons is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me is the popular Iceman King Parsons. Iceman, you ate in the American Heavyweight Title tournament, and tonight you start that tournament against Killer Brooks. That's a tough draw."
Parsons, "Have mercy! Killer Brooks, you one tough, ugly, biker! You ain't pretty like the Iceman, but you can fight! So can I! This gonna be man on man, and the best man gonna win, me! Cause mama says it bees that way sometime!"
Lowrance, "The title tournament gets underway next."

Iceman King Parsons vs. Killer Brooks
Brooks jumps Parsons before the bell. He slams Iceman's head into the turnbuckle. The veteran from Waxahachie wants this title. Brooks continues to work over Parsons. Brooks uses his controversial elbow pad and the Iceman is in trouble. Parsons rallies and mounts a comeback. He fires back with rights and lefts. Brooks is in retreat now. He whips Brooks into the ropes and hits the butt bump for the win. Parsons moves on.
Winner-Iceman King Parsons
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, "What a night! Iceman King Parsons moves on in the American Heavyweight title tournament. Adrian Street challenges Kevin Von Erich for the Texas Title, and in the biggest news of the night, Kerry Von Erich will challenge Ric Flair for the World Title at the 'Firecracker Spectacular'. We can also announce that, next week, we have another tournament match, Chris Adams will take on Steve Simpson. We will also have more information on the big July 7 show, don't miss it!"
