Finals for Maritime Heavyweight Tournament
Ron Starr defeats Leo Burke to become the first Maritime heavyweight Champion, with a back roll up, and a handful of tights.
Following the match, Burke argued with referee Ron Goguen, but he did not see the infraction. He confronted Starr about the tight pulled and Starr told Burke he was sorry, it was a gut reaction has he was starting to lose his balance.
He promised to give Burke a rematch next week, in which Burke accepted and both men shook hands and walked to the back together.
