David Crockett: You heard what the man said, you are watching THE BEST in professional wrestling!!!! And Tony, we are going to prove that here for the next two hours with an amazing show!!!
Tony Schiavone: That’s right David, several big matches including our first one where Johnny Weaver and Keith Larsen will face The MOD Squad. Johnny was originally slated to team with Rick McGraw, but McGraw didn’t show up, so Keith Larsen stepped in to take his place.
David Crockett: Johnny is one of the BEST EVER, and Keith Larsen has allot of GUTS, but Tony….The MOD Squad…..those biker GOONS…..they are dangerous, they don’t fight fair!!!
Tony Schiavone: They have been known to break the rules David, but I think Johnny Weaver has been around long enough to know how to handle them. Plus “Dirty” Dick Slater is here, and Jay Youngblood will be in action.
David Crockett: Jay Youngblood……he…..he turned his back on everyone Tony….on his best friend Ricky Steamboat…..on HIS OWN BROTHER Mark……on the fans……he broke the fans hearts Tony. But the “Ragin Bull”, the United States Champion Manny Fernandez, HE WANTS JAY YOUNGBLOOD IN THE RING!!! And he’s willing to put the US Title on the line to get him there. But Tony….TONY….does Jay Youngblood have THE GUTS to get in the ring with the Bull??
Tony Schiavone: That remains to be seen David, but if we get the chance to later today I am sure you will ask him!!! Plus National Tag Team Champion Ole Anderson will take on World Tag Team Champion Ivan Koloff, and David that one promises to be quite a battle.
David Crockett: Tony, Ole and Ivan used to be partner, they used to be friends, but Ole Anderson is a PROUD AMERICAN!!!! And Tony, he and Thunderbolt Patterson, I think they can do it Tony….I think they can take the World Tag Titles from the Koloffs!!!
Tony Schaivone: The World Champion “Nature Boy” Ric Flair will be here as well, and in the main event, The Television Title will be on the line as Tully Blanchard defends once again against Hector Guerrero!!!
David Crockett: Hector has Tully’s number AND TULLY KNOWS IT!!!!! HE KNOWS IT TONY!!!!!
Tony Schiavone: We’ll see if that’s the case later today, plus “Avalanche” Buzz Tyler, The Italian Stallion, Lazertron and so much more!!! Let’s go to the ring for our first match!!!!
JOHNNY WEAVER & KEITH LARSEN
THE MOD SQUAD
(BASH AND SPIKE)
As per the norm, The MOD Squad attempts to attack Weaver and Larsen before the bell rings, but Weaver and Larsen have the MOD Squad well scouted and are ready to fight!!! The two teams brawl it out until Larsen is left in the ring with Spike. Weaver and Larsen work well together with quick tags in an out, Weaver continually coaching Larsen from the apron, Bash catches Larsen in the back allowing the MOD Squad to take over. They work Larsen over who tries to fight the double team several times but always falls short. Weaver doesn’t help Larsen at all by coming into the ring to try and break up the double team, only to have the referee escort him out, thus turning his back to the action and allowing the MOD Squad a chance to exercise some illegal tactics. Bash has Larsen trapped in the corner and is waylaying him with punches, but Larsen wakes up and starts fighting back!!! Larsen battles out of the corner, Bash rakes the eyes and sends Larsen for the ride into the ropes, but Larsen ducks a clothesline and flattens Bash with a desperation flying shoulder tackle!!!! Both men are down as the referee starts his ten count, Larsen starts to move toward Weaver, Bash starts to move toward Spike, Spike yells at Bash to turn around and stop Larsen, Bash gets to his feet and grabs Larsen, he pulls Larsen to his feet and swings with a punch but Larsen ducks it and gives Bash an Atomic Drop!!! Bash staggers toward Weaver who hits him with a hard right hand!!! Larsen then makes the tag to Weaver!! Weaver is all over Bash with chops and punches!!! Spike runs in the ring and gets a big hip toss for his troubles!!! Bash gets a hip toss as well!!! Spike comes at Weaver and the two are trading punches allowing Bash to hit Weaver from behind with a double ax handle!!!! Spike gets out of the ring and Bash makes the tag, they toss Weaver into the ropes and hit a Double Flapjack!!! Spike makes the cover and gets the three count to continue the MOD Squad’s undefeated streak!!!!!

David Crockett: Another questionable win for the MOD Squad…another man who has had his fair share of questionable wins is joining me know, the Television Champion Tully Blanchard.
Tully Blanchard: David Crockett, you may think it makes you a big shot to stand here and make cute little comments like that, you may have the audacity to come out here and insult me on national television, knowing that a professional such as myself wouldn’t retaliate, but just keep in mind what I have said time and time again, check with your brothers accountants and see who’s name is on top of the cards that have earned Jim Crockett Promotions the money that it has. Now, later on in the program everyone will get the opportunity to witness why I am one of the ELITE of this profession when I take on Hector Guerrero. Hector, this isn’t the first time we’ve met in the ring, and I am sure it will not be the last as Jim Crockett continues to throw wrestlers at me in hopes of taking this Television Title off from around my waist, a title that I will have held for a full year when the clock strikes midnight tonight. In a little while you will see why I am the Television Champion, why I can walk out here on your brother’s television show David Crockett, on Ted Turner’s Superstation, saying what I want and doing what I want to do, it’s because no one can stop me.
David Crockett: I can’t help but notice that Wahoo McDaniel is here with you.
Tully Blanchard: Let me stop you right there David Crockett, I know you, just like that no class thug Dick Slater would like nothing better than to drive a wedge between me and my Awesome Twosome partner, but let me tell you this, nothing can drive a wedge between us. B & M Enterprises is as strong as it ever has been, and Wahoo knows as well as I do that the one way to keep B & M Enterprises in the black and for it to continue to be as successful as it has been is to make sure that I retain the Television Title. I am sure Wahoo is off handling some very important business, but if the need arises later on, I am sure he will be there to make sure our business ventures aren’t threatened. And one more thing, Dick Slater, I’d stop bring that dog collar around and take it hope and put it back where it belongs…….around the neck of your old lady, because I saw a picture of her the other day, and if there ever was a dog walking on two legs……..

Brown has had quite a bit of success in professional wrestling and will no way be an easy win for Youngblood, the two men match holds early until Youngblood takes control after catching Brown with a powerslam when Brown was attempting a crossbody block. Youngblood works Brown over for several minutes until he miscues a backdrop, Brown kicks him in the face and then nails him flush in the mush with a dropkick!!! Brown gets several nearfalls on Youngblood until he misses a leaping splash in the corner!!! Youngblood hits a big chop on Brown then climbs to the top rope, he comes crashing down on Brown’s head with a big overhead chop and then makes the cover to get the victory!

Tony Schiavone: I am joined at this time by Jay Youngblood, and the United States Champion has laid out quite a challenge to you.
Jay Youngblood: Is that what you want to call it, a challenge? It’s not a challenge, Manny Fernandez you want me in the ring, fine, I will take that United States Title away from you, just like the United States took this country from my people. Next week Manny Fernandez, your title will be mine.

Suddenly from offstage you can hear someone yelling, and then Shaska Whatley appears on the set!!!
Shaska Whatley: WHAT IS THIS? WHAT JUST HAPPENED? TONY SCHIAVONE YOU TELL ME WHAT JUST HAPPENED? DID I JUST GET ROBBED!?!
Tony Schiavone: I am not really sure what you are talking about.
Shaska Whatley: YOU KNOW DANG WELL WHAT I’MA TALKING ABOUT!!! THAT YELLER COWARD MANNY FERNANDEZ DONE AGREED TO PUT THE US TITLE UP AGAINST JAY YOUNGBLOOD!!! EVERYBODY KNOWS I WAS THE NEXT IN LINE TO GET A TITLE SHOT!!!
Tony Schiavone: I don’t recall you being granted a title shot, or being named the #1 contender.

Slater and Fulton get some early mat wrestling in until Fulton throws the first punch, Slater is more than happy to turn this into a total brawl and does so. Slater beats Fulton around the ring before dropping him on his head with a DDT for the win.

Dick Slater: I’m going to tell you something right now, I just heard Tully Blanchard say something about my woman, but I am not going to stand out here and yell and scream and get all indigent over it because unlike the women Tully Blanchard spends time with I don’t have to pay my woman if you know what I mean. Instead of concerning yourself with who I spend my nights with Tully Blanchard, you should be more concerned with how I spend my days, and that’s beating people up to get another shot at your Television Title. Now Hector Guerrero has got a shot later today and I wish him all the luck. As for Tully’s guard dog, Fido McDaniel, I know he ain’t here yet, but if and when he does show up, and if and when he tries to get involved in the match later today, I’ll be ready to stop him. And don't think I forgot about you Koloffs either, I haven't forgotten what you did to Jimmy Valiant, and I'm going to have my eyes on that one too. You might say there is a new Sheriff in the NWA and his name is Dick Slater!

”AVALANCHE” BUZZ TYLER & ITALIAN STALLION
THE BRUISERS
(BILL WHITE & BEN ALEXANDER)
Tyler and Stallion have been working out together recently and have decided to team up on a part time basis, their first opponents are the veteran rough house duo of The Bruisers!! Once in the bell rings they waste no time and all four men are slugging it out in the middle of the ring. Stallion and Tyler clear the ring as The Bruisers go to regroup and Tyler and Stallion stand tall in the ring.
Finally we get two men in the ring with Stallion and White. The two men trade holds for a while before White begins to gain the advantage after whipping Stallion into the ropes and Alexander catching Stallion in the small of the back with a knee. The Bruisers begin to work over Stallion now with quick tags in and out and multiple double team moves. Tyler is dying to get in the ring and jumps at the chance when Alexander takes a swing at him, Tyler rushes in the ring and the referee has to get him out, allowing even more double team moves from the Brusiers.
The Bruiser try many pin attempts but none of them are successful as Stallion keeps finding ways to kick out. Alexander decides to go to the top rope, but he takes too long and Stallion is able to get to his feet and catch Alexander!!! Alexander is on the top turnbuckle while Stallion is standing in the ring and they are slugging it out. Stallion is able to connect with a huge right hand that knows Alexander loopy, Stallion then tosses Alexander off of the top rope and crashing to the mat!!!! Stallion makes a cover but Alexander kicks out at 2!!! Stallion tags out to Tyler who tosses Alexander into the corner then hits him with an Avalanche Splash!!!! Tyler makes a cover but White comes into the ring to breaks it up!!!! Stallion runs back into the ring and we have a pier six brawl!!!! White gets dumped out!!! Tyler whips Alexander into the ropes and he and Stallion hit a double clothesline!! Stallion runs the ropes and hits a splash, followed almost instantly by Tyler who hits a splash as well!!! Tyler makes the cover and gets the three count!!!

You can come out here and you can try to convince these good people that you are what’s happening in wrestling today, but until you slide out of that 500 dollar robe and into a 20,000 dollar one like I wear, until you stop buying your suits off the rack and start getting them custom made by Morton’s of Kansas City as I do, and until you can step in the ring with this title strapped around your waist you are just lying to the people and to yourself. And the only way you can get any of that Garvin is to put your name on the dotted line, walk that aisle and look destiny in the eyes!!! Garvin is allot more aggressive than we normally have seen him, Finely tries to put up a fight and gets a dropkick and a spinning neck breaker in, but a cover only barley gets a two count as Garvin pounds on Finley some more before dropping him on his head with a brainbuster to set up the pin and the three count!

David Crockett: Alright, I have been joined by—
Jimmy Garvin: YEAH! YEAH! YEAH! David Crockett, let’s not pretend that you like me or I like you. Let me tell you something, I cannot believe that that crazy, crazy idiot Ric Flair would come out here and try to insult me, try and make me MAD, try and get me all riled up after the beatings I have been putting on him week in and week out. You know I am not surprised, not surprised AT ALL that he would want to go as far away as he could to stink holes like Dallas, like Memphis or Miami and try and get away from Gorgeous J, you know Squeeze I think he is just getting tired of getting his brains beat in day in and day out by the greatest wrestler in the world, and I know ladies and gentlemen, it’s not my fault, but I know Ric Flair tried to come out here and confuse you just a short while ago and claim he was the greatest, but Squeeze will tell you, the greatest is standing here right now, and Ric Flair, yes it will be my fault when I beat you up, when I take that World Heavyweight Title away from you. I mean Squeeze I don’t understand why Ric Flair and idiots like David here have such a hard time understanding that I am the greatest wrestler of all time, but I guess I gotta keep beating people up, I gotta keep making fools outta people and I gotta beat up Ric Flair again and again, make his momma cry, make David here cry, all to keep proving what I say is true.

Bash: David Crockett, Spike and I go where we want, when we want and do what we want and can’t do one do a dang thing about it!! We showed everyone earlier what we can do when we took apart your legend, your hero, Johnny Weaver, well we’re ready to take apart some more heroes, like OLE ANDERSON AND THUNDERBOLT PATTERSON!
Spike: Anderson, Patterson, you two might be chasin after the Russians, but you better watch your backs, cause YOUR GOT SOMETHING WE WANT!!!
Bash: That’s right!!! Those National Tag Team Titles, Spike and I want’em and when we see something we want, WE TAKE IT!!!
David Crockett: Well, that might be, that might be easier said than done, let’s go to the ring where Ole Anderson will face Ivan Koloff!

Before the match can even begin, referee Nick Patrick tells ring announcer Tom Miller that Don Kerndole, Nikita Koloff and Thunderbolt Patterson have all be ejected from ringside!! The heels are pissed but do as they are told when several prelim wrestlers and officials come out, Nikita refuses to budge until Ivan tells him to go to the back. Once all three men are in the locker room the bell ring and we have a slugfest on our hands!!! Ivan tries to whip Ole into the ropes, but Ole reverses it and then clotheslines Ivan with a wallop!!!! Ole goes for a quick cover, but that isn’t going to cut it and he only gets a 1 count. Ole pulls Ivan to his feet and whips him into the corner, where he follows Ivan in with a clothesline. Ole then pulls Ivan out of the corner and bodyslams him to the mat. Ole goes for a cover again, but just like last time only gets a 1 count.
Ole is pulling Ivan to his feet when Ivan reaches up and rakes Ole’s eyes!!! Ivan does it a second time, momentarily blinding Ole. Ivan then beats Ole down to the mat. Ivan now in control, pulls Ole up and gives him a backbreaker in the middle of the ring!!!!! Ivan covers!!

OLE KICKS OUT!!!
Ole tries to get to his feet but the 300 pound Russian Bear just starts pounding on the multi time World Tag Team Champion. Ivan grabs Ole and runs his face across the top rope!!!! With Ole unable to see Ivan has the full advantage. Ivan scoops Ole up and hits another backbreaker, not once, not twice but three time!!!! Ivan then drags Ole across the ring and drapes his neck across the middle rope. Ivan then hits the opposite ropes to get himself a full head of steam and then comes crashing down across Ole’s back!!!!! Ivan makes a cover

OLE KICKS OUT!!!!
Ivan is irate and shows the referee how to count. He pulls Ole to his feet and after pounding on him a bit, tries to whip him into the ropes again, but Ole reverses and hits Ivan with a desperation spinebuster!!!!! Both men are down and out on the mat from this heavyweight slugfest!!!!!! It takes several seconds for the men to start to stir, once they do it doesn’t take long for them to get to their feet and resume their battle. Ole and Ivan are trading punches like heavyweight boxers in the 12th round. Each shot is measured and each one staggers their opponent. Ole starts to get the upper hand as his punches start to get faster, and Ivan stops answering back, soon Ole has Ivan backed against he ropes and is unloading on him with haymakers until Ole finally hits one that sends Ivan flying out of the ring to the studio floor!
Ole refuses to let up and follows Ivan out, both men then begin slugging it out on the floor and slamming each other’s head into the apron. Ole and Ivan are slugging it out on the floor, Nick Patrick has no choice but to count both men out as they continue to brawl!!
Ole and Ivan continue to brawl, Nikita and Don Kerndole run out to attack Ole, Thunderbolt is soon behind them and he has “Dirty” Dick Slater with him!!! It’s a pier six brawl as all six men are battling on the studio floor and in the ring as we go to a commercial break!!!

Ole Anderson: Let me tell you something, people have been asking us everywhere we go, what kind of a chance do we have against two monsters like the Russians? Well you stop for a second and think about what you just saw, anything the Russians want to do, we’ll do it right back at them! Finally Blanchard grabs a headlock and brings Guerrero over onto the mat. Guerrero fights to his feet and fires Blanchard off into the ropes, Guerrero drops his head for a backdrop, but Tully sees it coming and instead catches the Guerrero with a Sunset flip!!!!!

Both men to their feet and Guerrero catches Blanchard with a Flying Head Scissors!!!!! Blanchard jumps to his feet and rushes Guerrero, but Guerrero is ready for him and traps Tully with a deep arm drag and locks in an arm bar on the mat!!!! Guerrero transitions the armbar into a hammerlock. Tully is able to climb to his feet and then throws a vicious back elbow that catches Guerrero flush in the eye and causes the break!!!
Tully now takes control, grabbing an arm ringer and working Guerrero’s arm. After working the arm over for several minutes, Blanchard pushes Guerrero against the ropes and Irish whips him across the ring, Tully then leap frogs Guerrero, but when he drops his head for a backdrop Guerrero leapfrogs him, lands on his feet, spins around and flattens Tully with a standing drop kick!!!!!!!!!!!
Guerrero pounces on Tully and starts to work on the arm again. Tully keeps trying to escape, but Guerrero keeps it locked in, no matter what Tully does, he can’t get Guerrero to break the hold. Tully even fights to his feet and scoop slams Guerrero, but Guerrero never releases the armbar!!!!! Guerrero is still working the armbar when Tony sends us to a commercial break and says that if a pinfall happens during the break they will have the camera’s rolling.

Back from the break Tully has fought to his feet and has backed Guerrero into the ropes, Tully whips Guerrero across the ring, and catches him with a big back elbow. Tully now goes to work on Guerrero’s knee. Blanchard drops several elbows onto Guerrero’s knee before locking in a kneebar. It is obvious now that Blanchard is trying to slow the much faster Guerrero down by working over the knee.
Guerrero fights his way to the ropes and is able to force the break. On their feet, Tully slugs Guerrero with a right hand, Tully then kicks Guerrero in the gut, grabs a front face lock and then executes a picture perfect vertical suplex. Tully then climbs the second turnbuckle and drops a knee drop on Guerrero . Tully goes for the cover!!!

Guerrero is doing everything he can to turn the hold, but Tully is fighting him for all he’s worth. Guerrero finally turns the hold and puts all the pressure on Tully!!!! Young is now in Tully’s face asking if he wants to give it up, but Tully is yelling no!!!!!! Finally Tully reverses things and rolls into the ropes forcing the break. As soon as the two men are untangled, Tully starts to kick at Guerrero and kicks him completely out of the ring. Tully follows Guerrero out and bodyslams him on the studio floor!!! Tully rolls back into the ring and tells Tommy Young to count!

He backs Tully across the ring with knife edge chops before hitting a standing dropkick that sends Tully flying over the top rope to the floor!!!!
Tully pulls himself to his feet as Guerrero hits the ropes and dives over the top with a Plancha!!!!!!!!! Crockett is having an aneurysm!!!!
Guerrero rolls Tully back into the ring, but he doesn’t follow him. Instead Guerrero climbs the top rope and measures Tully. As soon as Tully is on his feet, Guerrero takes flight with a crossbody block off the top!!!! Guerrero connects, but Tully rolls through!!!!! Tully is on top with the pin attempt!!!!

THE MOD SQUAD
(BASH AND SPIKE)
As per the norm, The MOD Squad attempts to attack Weaver and Larsen before the bell rings, but Weaver and Larsen have the MOD Squad well scouted and are ready to fight!!! The two teams brawl it out until Larsen is left in the ring with Spike. Weaver and Larsen work well together with quick tags in an out, Weaver continually coaching Larsen from the apron, Bash catches Larsen in the back allowing the MOD Squad to take over. They work Larsen over who tries to fight the double team several times but always falls short. Weaver doesn’t help Larsen at all by coming into the ring to try and break up the double team, only to have the referee escort him out, thus turning his back to the action and allowing the MOD Squad a chance to exercise some illegal tactics. Bash has Larsen trapped in the corner and is waylaying him with punches, but Larsen wakes up and starts fighting back!!! Larsen battles out of the corner, Bash rakes the eyes and sends Larsen for the ride into the ropes, but Larsen ducks a clothesline and flattens Bash with a desperation flying shoulder tackle!!!! Both men are down as the referee starts his ten count, Larsen starts to move toward Weaver, Bash starts to move toward Spike, Spike yells at Bash to turn around and stop Larsen, Bash gets to his feet and grabs Larsen, he pulls Larsen to his feet and swings with a punch but Larsen ducks it and gives Bash an Atomic Drop!!! Bash staggers toward Weaver who hits him with a hard right hand!!! Larsen then makes the tag to Weaver!! Weaver is all over Bash with chops and punches!!! Spike runs in the ring and gets a big hip toss for his troubles!!! Bash gets a hip toss as well!!! Spike comes at Weaver and the two are trading punches allowing Bash to hit Weaver from behind with a double ax handle!!!! Spike gets out of the ring and Bash makes the tag, they toss Weaver into the ropes and hit a Double Flapjack!!! Spike makes the cover and gets the three count to continue the MOD Squad’s undefeated streak!!!!!

David Crockett: Another questionable win for the MOD Squad…another man who has had his fair share of questionable wins is joining me know, the Television Champion Tully Blanchard.

Youngblood hits a big chop on Brown then climbs to the top rope, he comes crashing down on Brown’s head with a big overhead chop and then makes the cover to get the victory!

Dick Slater: I’m going to tell you something right now, I just heard Tully Blanchard say something about my woman, but I am not going to stand out here and yell and scream and get all indigent over it because unlike the women Tully Blanchard spends time with I don’t have to pay my woman if you know what I mean. Instead of concerning yourself with who I spend my nights with Tully Blanchard, you should be more concerned with how I spend my days, and that’s beating people up to get another shot at your Television Title. Now Hector Guerrero has got a shot later today and I wish him all the luck. As for Tully’s guard dog, Fido McDaniel, I know he ain’t here yet, but if and when he does show up, and if and when he tries to get involved in the match later today, I’ll be ready to stop him. Tyler and Stallion have been working out together recently and have decided to team up on a part time basis, their first opponents are the veteran rough house duo of The Bruisers!! Once in the bell rings they waste no time and all four men are slugging it out in the middle of the ring. Stallion and Tyler clear the ring as The Bruisers go to regroup and Tyler and Stallion stand tall in the ring.
Finally we get two men in the ring with Stallion and White. The two men trade holds for a while before White begins to gain the advantage after whipping Stallion into the ropes and Alexander catching Stallion in the small of the back with a knee. The Bruisers begin to work over Stallion now with quick tags in and out and multiple double team moves. Tyler is dying to get in the ring and jumps at the chance when Alexander takes a swing at him, Tyler rushes in the ring and the referee has to get him out, allowing even more double team moves from the Brusiers.
The Bruiser try many pin attempts but none of them are successful as Stallion keeps finding ways to kick out. Alexander decides to go to the top rope, but he takes too long and Stallion is able to get to his feet and catch Alexander!!! Alexander is on the top turnbuckle while Stallion is standing in the ring and they are slugging it out. Stallion is able to connect with a huge right hand that knows Alexander loopy, Stallion then tosses Alexander off of the top rope and crashing to the mat!!!! Stallion makes a cover but Alexander kicks out at 2!!! Stallion tags out to Tyler who tosses Alexander into the corner then hits him with an Avalanche Splash!!!! Tyler makes a cover but White comes into the ring to breaks it up!!!! Stallion runs back into the ring and we have a pier six brawl!!!! White gets dumped out!!! Tyler whips Alexander into the ropes and he and Stallion hit a double clothesline!! Stallion runs the ropes and hits a splash, followed almost instantly by Tyler who hits a splash as well!!! Tyler makes the cover and gets the three count!!!

You can come out here and you can try to convince these good people that you are what’s happening in wrestling today, but until you slide out of that 500 dollar robe and into a 20,000 dollar one like I wear, until you stop buying your suits off the rack and start getting them custom made by Morton’s of Kansas City as I do, and until you can step in the ring with this title strapped around your waist you are just lying to the people and to yourself. And the only way you can get any of that Garvin is to put your name on the dotted line, walk that aisle and look destiny in the eyes!!! Garvin is not happy with what Flair just said and yells some comments down to Tony and David before the bell rings and it takes it out on Finley. Garvin is allot more aggressive than we normally have seen him, Finely tries to put up a fight and gets a dropkick and a spinning neck breaker in, but a cover only barley gets a two count as Garvin pounds on Finley some more before dropping him on his head with a brainbuster to set up the pin and the three count!

You know I am not surprised, not surprised AT ALL that he would want to go as far away as he could to stink holes like Dallas, like Memphis or Miami and try and get away from Gorgeous J, you know Squeeze I think he is just getting tired of getting his brains beat in day in and day out by the greatest wrestler in the world, and I know ladies and gentlemen, it’s not my fault, but I know Ric Flair tried to come out here and confuse you just a short while ago and claim he was the greatest, but Squeeze will tell you, the greatest is standing here right now, and Ric Flair, yes it will be my fault when I beat you up, when I take that World Heavyweight Title away from you. Before the match can even begin, referee Nick Patrick tells ring announcer Tom Miller that Don Kerndole, Nikita Koloff and Thunderbolt Patterson have all be ejected from ringside!! The heels are pissed but do as they are told when several prelim wrestlers and officials come out, Nikita refuses to budge until Ivan tells him to go to the back. Once all three men are in the locker room the bell ring and we have a slugfest on our hands!!! Ivan tries to whip Ole into the ropes, but Ole reverses it and then clotheslines Ivan with a wallop!!!! Ole goes for a quick cover, but that isn’t going to cut it and he only gets a 1 count. Ole pulls Ivan to his feet and whips him into the corner, where he follows Ivan in with a clothesline. Ole then pulls Ivan out of the corner and bodyslams him to the mat. Ole goes for a cover again, but just like last time only gets a 1 count.
Ole is pulling Ivan to his feet when Ivan reaches up and rakes Ole’s eyes!!! Ivan does it a second time, momentarily blinding Ole. Ivan then beats Ole down to the mat. Ivan now in control, pulls Ole up and gives him a backbreaker in the middle of the ring!!!!! Ivan covers!!

Ole tries to get to his feet but the 300 pound Russian Bear just starts pounding on the multi time World Tag Team Champion. Ivan grabs Ole and runs his face across the top rope!!!! With Ole unable to see Ivan has the full advantage. Ivan scoops Ole up and hits another backbreaker, not once, not twice but three time!!!! Ivan then drags Ole across the ring and drapes his neck across the middle rope. Ivan then hits the opposite ropes to get himself a full head of steam and then comes crashing down across Ole’s back!!!!! Ivan makes a cover

Ivan is irate and shows the referee how to count. He pulls Ole to his feet and after pounding on him a bit, tries to whip him into the ropes again, but Ole reverses and hits Ivan with a desperation spinebuster!!!!! Both men are down and out on the mat from this heavyweight slugfest!!!!!! It takes several seconds for the men to start to stir, once they do it doesn’t take long for them to get to their feet and resume their battle. Ole and Ivan are trading punches like heavyweight boxers in the 12th round. Each shot is measured and each one staggers their opponent. Ole starts to get the upper hand as his punches start to get faster, and Ivan stops answering back, soon Ole has Ivan backed against he ropes and is unloading on him with haymakers until Ole finally hits one that sends Ivan flying out of the ring to the studio floor!
Ole refuses to let up and follows Ivan out, both men then begin slugging it out on the floor and slamming each other’s head into the apron. Ole and Ivan are slugging it out on the floor, Nick Patrick has no choice but to count both men out as they continue to brawl!!
WINNER: DOUBLE COUNT OUT (10:22)
Ole and Ivan continue to brawl, Nikita and Don Kerndole run out to attack Ole, Thunderbolt is soon behind them and he has “Dirty” Dick Slater with him!!! It’s a pier six brawl as all six men are battling on the studio floor and in the ring as we go to a commercial break!!!

Ole Anderson: Let me tell you something, people have been asking us everywhere we go, what kind of a chance do we have against two monsters like the Russians? Well you stop for a second and think about what you just saw, anything the Russians want to do, we’ll do it right back at them! They want to brawl we can brawl, they want to get dirty, heh, no one knows how to fight dirty like I do!!! I tell you what, you look around and you see all the wars I have been in, you look at the wars Thunderbolt Patterson has been in and you know we aren’t going to back down from nobody!!! Koloffs, we aren’t backing down, we aren’t running away, we’re standing right here and we are going at you!!! And I guarantee you we are going to take those World Tag Team Titles away from you and kick you out of this country because you don’t belong in it, and if Don Kernodle doesn’t wake up, we’ll send him packing with them!!!! And MOD Squad, there is a big difference from wanting something, saying you are going to do something, and actually doing it, and you'll find that out when you step in the ring with us.

The two men circle each other before locking up. The two then begin to trade holds, armbars, hammerlocks, and headlocks, no matter what one man puts on the other, it is reversed. Finally Blanchard grabs a headlock and brings Guerrero over onto the mat. Guerrero fights to his feet and fires Blanchard off into the ropes, Guerrero drops his head for a backdrop, but Tully sees it coming and instead catches the Guerrero with a Sunset flip!!!!!

Both men to their feet and Guerrero catches Blanchard with a Flying Head Scissors!!!!! Blanchard jumps to his feet and rushes Guerrero, but Guerrero is ready for him and traps Tully with a deep arm drag and locks in an arm bar on the mat!!!! Guerrero transitions the armbar into a hammerlock. Tully is able to climb to his feet and then throws a vicious back elbow that catches Guerrero flush in the eye and causes the break!!!
Tully now takes control, grabbing an arm ringer and working Guerrero’s arm. After working the arm over for several minutes, Blanchard pushes Guerrero against the ropes and Irish whips him across the ring, Tully then leap frogs Guerrero, but when he drops his head for a backdrop Guerrero leapfrogs him, lands on his feet, spins around and flattens Tully with a standing drop kick!!!!!!!!!!!
Guerrero pounces on Tully and starts to work on the arm again. Tully keeps trying to escape, but Guerrero keeps it locked in, no matter what Tully does, he can’t get Guerrero to break the hold. Tully even fights to his feet and scoop slams Guerrero, but Guerrero never releases the armbar!!!!! Guerrero is still working the armbar when Tony sends us to a commercial break and says that if a pinfall happens during the break they will have the camera’s rolling.

Back from the break Tully has fought to his feet and has backed Guerrero into the ropes, Tully whips Guerrero across the ring, and catches him with a big back elbow. Tully now goes to work on Guerrero’s knee. Blanchard drops several elbows onto Guerrero’s knee before locking in a kneebar. It is obvious now that Blanchard is trying to slow the much faster Guerrero down by working over the knee.
Guerrero fights his way to the ropes and is able to force the break. On their feet, Tully slugs Guerrero with a right hand, Tully then kicks Guerrero in the gut, grabs a front face lock and then executes a picture perfect vertical suplex. Tully then climbs the second turnbuckle and drops a knee drop on Guerrero . Tully goes for the cover!!!

Guerrero is doing everything he can to turn the hold, but Tully is fighting him for all he’s worth. Guerrero finally turns the hold and puts all the pressure on Tully!!!! Young is now in Tully’s face asking if he wants to give it up, but Tully is yelling no!!!!!! Finally Tully reverses things and rolls into the ropes forcing the break. As soon as the two men are untangled, Tully starts to kick at Guerrero and kicks him completely out of the ring. Tully follows Guerrero out and bodyslams him on the studio floor!!! Tully rolls back into the ring and tells Tommy Young to count!

He backs Tully across the ring with knife edge chops before hitting a standing dropkick that sends Tully flying over the top rope to the floor!!!!
Tully pulls himself to his feet as Guerrero hits the ropes and dives over the top with a Plancha!!!!!!!!! Crockett is having an aneurysm!!!!
Guerrero rolls Tully back into the ring, but he doesn’t follow him. Instead Guerrero climbs the top rope and measures Tully. As soon as Tully is on his feet, Guerrero takes flight with a crossbody block off the top!!!! Guerrero connects, but Tully rolls through!!!!! Tully is on top with the pin attempt!!!!
