1) Billy Joe Travis pinned The Horror at 10:11 when he came off the second rope with a sunset flip.
2) Big Bubba Rogers (w/ Jimmy Hart) fought One Man Gang to a double count-out at 10:02 when both men brawled all around the ringside are and did not follow the referee’s instructions to get back into the ring.
3) Tommy “Wildfire” Rich & “Handsome” Jimmy Valiant defeated The PYT Express: Koko B. Ware & Norvell Austin (w/ Jimmy Hart) at 17:35 when Rich connected with the Lou Thesz Press on Austin to get a win that starts to build back momentum for himself and Valiant.
4) Killer Khan (w/ Scandor Akbar) defeated ”Macho Man” Randy Savage (w/ Miss Elizabeth) at 13:02 when Savage passed out in a dreaded nerve hold that Khan locked in on his shoulder. The Macho Man was clearly still favoring that injured shoulder, but fought wildly against Khan. The monstrous Khan, however, was able to lock in the nerve hold and Savage was trapped in the center of the ring. Savage refused to submit, but eventually passed out.
*Scandor Akbar ordered Killer Khan to keep the hold applied after the match, but out came Lanny Poffo with a steel chair. Poffo walloped Khan across the back and it did break the hold, but barely phased Khan. Khan turned around as Poffo hit the ropes and drilled him again with the chair, leading the big man to fall out to the floor. Killer Khan went to re-enter the ring, but his manager Akbar held him back and led him to the dressing room. Randy Savage refused all medical help after the scene cleared.
INTERMISSION
5) Southern Tag Team Champions Sweet Sensation: Stan Lane & Shawn Michaels defeated The Wolverines: Dave “Fit” Finlay & Mark Rocco by disqualification when Finlay planted Michaels with an illegal tombstone pile-driver. This is the second week in a row that The Wolverines have seemed to totally disregard winning the belts in order to try to injure Shawn Michaels. Michaels had to be helped to the dressing room by Stan Lane and referee Paul Neighbors after the match.
6) CWA Heavyweight Champion ”Superstar” Bill Dundee defeated The Assassin at 18:45 when Dundee came off the top rope with the Bomb’s Away splash, following a hard-fought bout between two veterans.
7) Jerry “The King” Lawler and Terry Taylor defeated Jake “The Snake” Roberts and The Masked Superstar at 19:45 when Lawler connected with the flying fist drop on Jake Roberts to score the pin. This was a wild main event that saw all four men score near falls, but ultimately Lawler was able to pull out a victory. However, the celebration was kept short as Roberts and the Masked Superstar attacked. CWA Champion Bill Dundee was on the scene to help Lawler and Taylor clear the ring. However, Lawler and Dundee then started arguing and shoving each other. Terry Taylor got between them and tried to separate them, and soon Eddie Marlin, Tom Renesto and Ted Dibiase were on the scene as well to keep things under control.
