Marc Lowrance is in the middle of the ring. The crowd is huge and loud.
Lowrance, “Welcome to the ‘David Von Erich Memorial Parade of Champions! We have a great show for you this afternoon. Let’s not waste any time and get this show underway.”

Killer Brooks vs. Chief Jules Strongbow
The popular Chief takes on the rough and tough biker. The bell rings and the “Parade of Champions” is underway. This is a close match. Strongbow uses his quickness to offset Brooks’ roughhouse tactics. It works for a while, but Brooks hits the elbow drop for the win.

Johnny Mantell vs. Gary Young
The cowboy from Montague County takes on the rugged Gary Young. Young takes the fight to Mantell. The cowboy fights back and we have a brawl on our hands. Mantell gets a two count, as does Young. The man from Little Rock picks up the pace and hits a shoulderbrekaer for the win.

Mike and Lance Von Erich vs. The Great Kabuki and Black Bart w/”Playboy” Gary Hart
Two of the Von Erich family take on Gary Hart’s men. Lance opens with Kabuki. The man from Singapore is very sharp. He uses his deadly martial arts skills to punish Lance. The Texas crowd gets behind the Von Erich cousin. Lance fires back and traps Kabuki in a sleephold. Kabuki is able to get to the ropes and tag in Black Bart. The big outlaw from South Dakota goes after Lance. Bart uses very few wrestling moves, but he throws big rights and left. Lance tags in Mike and the youngest wrestling Von Erich goes to work. Mike is on top of his game and rolls up Bart for a three count. The Von Erichs win!

The Spoiler w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Iceman King Parsons
The masked and Hart wait in the ring. We hear,
Iceman comes to the ring, high fiving the fans on the way. He comes into the ring and puts the badmouth on Spoiler. Parsons help Al Madril win the TV Title from the masked man and Spoiler is out for revenge. Referee David Manning calls for the bell and we are underway. Both men are fine wrestlers and they put on fantastic display. Spoiler traps Iceman in the corner and works over the man from St. Louis. Spoiler goes for the claw, but Parsons blocks it. Now Parsons goes to work. He lands a thundering left hand and Spoiler is stunned. Parsons whips the masked man into the ropes and hits the bump butt. Iceman goes for the cover and Manning counts the fall. The Iceman has finished off the Spoiler!

Lowrance, “With me is ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’ President Fritz Von Erich. Fritz, it has been a great show, so far.”
Fritz, “Marc, this is exciting and we know the big one is coming up later. Kerry has been waiting for this day for a long time, and I know he is walking out of Texas Stadium the World Champion.”
Lowrance, “Well, this is an exciting day, but we want to talk about another day, a day we will celebrate America’s birthday and an exciting wrestling card. Tell us about the ‘Firecracker Spectacular’.”
Fritz, “On Monday night, July 7, we are going to close out the Independence Day weekend at the Tarrant County Convention center in Ft. Worth. It’s going to be a big night of wrestling, and we hope that Kerry will be defending the World Title that night.”
The crowd goes crazy.
Lowrance, “The crowd agrees. July 7, Tarrant County Convention Center, ‘Firecracker Spectacular’, don’t miss it!”

World Six Man Tag Team Championship
Killer Khan, the Missing Link and Kamala (Champions) vs. Skip Young, Brian Adias and Al Madril
Akbar's "Devastation Incorporated" have held the titles for some time. What they lack in skill, they make up for in viciousness. Bronko Lubich will referee this one. The bell rings and it's Kamala vs. Young. Kamala attacks Young and Skip is in early trouble. Kamala chops away and backs Skip into the corner. Young is able to escape and tag in Madril. Al takes the fight to Kamala. The Missing Link tags in and the prehistoric man begins to headbutt Madril. Al is now in trouble. The action continues and Adias and Khan end up in the ring. Khan hits the kneedrop to win the fall. Who can beat Akbar's men?

Chris Adams w/"Playboy" Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Chavo Guerrero
Adams and Guerrero have had several run ins on television. They want to settle things this afternoon. Both men are fine wrestlers. We hope that Hart, or Sunshine are not the deciding factor. The bell rings and both men begin to wrestle. Adams is still very talented, even though he has chosen to take up with Hart. Chris works over the leg of Chavo and the Mexican star is in trouble. Guerrero grabs the ropes and referee Rick Hazzard calls for the break. Guerrero is limping.Hr rallies and goes after Adams. Hart and Sunshine shout instructions and Adams takes over. He hits a superkick for the win. Chris Adams is on top of his game.

The Long Riders (Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. The Pretty Young Things
The bikers from Duluth, MN take on the men from Tennessee. The fans hate both teams, but they will be entertained. Scott Irwin opens against Koko B. Ware. Koko is very sharp. he uses his speed to confuse Irwin. Austin tags in and continues the assault. It looks like we may have new Champions. Irwin is in trouble. He is able to fight his way out of the corner and tag in his brother Scott. The bigger of the two Irwins go to work. Scott hammers away at Austin. Irwin whips Norvell into the ropes and drops him with a big boot. He covers Austin and referee Bronko Lubich counts the fall. The Long Riders retain the titles, It’s going to take a great team to dethrone them.

Gino Hernandez (Champion) w/”Playboy” Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Kevin Von Erich
The excitement in the stadium has been building all day, and is approaching a crescendo. Referee David Manning waits in the ring and we hear,
Kevin Von Erich walks across the artificial turf surface and climbs into the ring. The crowd goes crazy. We now hear.
Sunshine leads Gary Hart and Gino Hernandez to the ring. The tension is very thick. Manning goes through the instructions. Kevin, and everyone else, think the no disqualification rule will help me. Maybe not. The bell rings and the match is underway. Kevin is ready for action, but Gino takes to the stadium floor to slow the pace. The crowd is getting restless, as is Kevin. Hernandez comes back to the ring and the match is on. Both men are on top of their games. They trade holds and counter holds. Things turn Kevin's way and Gino is frustrated. He goes to the roughhouse tactics. There is no disqualification, so Hernandez is free to do what he wants. Kevin fires back. Now we have a slugfest. Hernandez backs Kevin into the corner and starts pound away. Kevin has had enough. He goes to work. He whips Gino into the opposite corner. Hernandez slumps in the corner. Gary Hart steps up on the ring apron. Kevin hits a dropkick and Hart falls to the turf. Gino moves to attack and Kevin clamps on the Von Erich claw. Gino fights it and Sunshine screams encouragement, but it's no good. Gino is out! Kevin Von Erich is the new Texas Champion!

This match has been one year in the making. Marc Lowrance is in the ring.
Lowrance, "Fans, before I introduce the main event, I want to announce that today's attendance is over 60,000! Give yourselves a big hand!"
The crowd explodes.
Lowrance introduces Kerry Von Erich. We hear,
The Challenger comes to the ring. The din of the crowd gets even louder. Kerry enters the ring. He waits, and
The World Champion walks confidently to the ring. He climbs the steps to the ring. Flair removes his robe and hands the title to referee Bronko Lubich. Lubich shows the title to Kerry and then holds it up to the crowd. We are ready for action. Flair offers his hand to Kerry, but he refuses. Kerry will not be psyched out today. The early moments of the match belong to the challenger. He is running on adrenaline and he works over Flair. The Champion is normally cool, but he appears to be unnerved. Flair tries to fight back, but Kerry is ready for anything Ric throws at him. Kerry bodyslams Flair and bounces off the ropes and tries a kneedrop. Flair rolls out of the ring and Kerry's knee crashes to the mat. That is the same knee he injured a few weeks ago. Flair is like a shark who smells blood. Ric puts the boots to Kerry's knee. Kerry is on trouble. Flair goes for the figure four, but Kerry kicks out. He tries again, but this time, Von Erich traps Flair in a cradle. Lubich counts 1...2...NO! Flair kicks out. Von Erich gets to his feet and goes after the Champion. Kerry is limping, but that does not deter him. Kerry whips Flair into the ropes and slaps on the Von Erich claw! Flair fights it, but he is unable to escape. Flair fights his way to the ropes and Lubich calls for the break. Kerry moves in again, but Flair lands a boot to the knee and Von Erich goes down. Flair goes back on the attack. Kerry's knee is, once again, the target. Flair is merciless. His attack on the knee is vicious. Kerry is on agony and Flair goes for the figure four. He gets it applied and they are in midring. Flair ramps up the pressure, but Kerry will not submit. He fights the pain and the crowd is living and dying with every breath. Kerry's shoulders are on the mat and Lubich counts. Kerry is up at two. This happened three, or four more times. Each time, Kerry gets his shoulder up at two. Finally Kerry is out . He collapses on the mat. Lubich counts 1...2...3! Ric Flair retains the World Title! Flair struts around the ring as medical personnel check on Kerry. As Flair leaves the ring, Kerry uses the ropes to pull himself up. He takes the mic from Lowrance.
Kerry, "Flair, I'm not quitting! You'll be back, and I'll be ready! I'll take that title again!"
The huge crowd cheers loudly.
