INTRO
Monsoon – Hello everyone and welcome to WWF RAW, Professional Wrestlings #1 rated live prime time show. I’m Gorilla Monsoon and I’m joined by Bobby “The Brain” Heenan. What a show we have for you this week. We have the Nasty Boys in action. Another live Piper’s Pit will have Roddy letting us know who will be the challenger for Yokozuna’s WWF World Title January 16 at the Royal Rumble.
Heenan: Speaking of the Royal Rumble, I have a list of the first 5 entries into Rumble itself. I’ll let you know later in the show.
Monsoon: I’ll believe that when I see it, Brain. We’ll also have The Superstar, Stunning Steve Austin in action tonight.
Heenan: What a match he had with Razor Ramon last week, Ramon was lucky to keep that title. But I have a feeling that this one isn’t over yet. Austin is like a bulldog, he’ll keep going for what he wants.
Monsoon: Not only that, but John Hawk will be in action, as will Johnny Polo and our main event will feature one half of the WWF World Tag Team Champions, Jacques Rougeau will take on Marty Janetty.
Hennan: Janetty has been chasing the Quebeccers all over the place and falling just short in tag team action, maybe he’ll do better in singles action.
Monsoon: Alright Brain, lets get right into the action as Barry Horrowitz and youngster Mike Bucci are waiting for the Nasty Boys.
The Nasty Boys w/ The Mouth of the South Jimmy Hart vs. Barry Horrowitz & Mike Bucci
The Nasties have no trouble with this match, with Sags pinning Bucci after a Trip to Nastyville.
Winners: The Nasty Boys via pin @ 4:23
After the match, Gorilla Monsoon calls the Nasties and Jimmy Hart over for a ringside interview.
Monsoon: An impressive victory for your team, mouth, whats next for them?
Hart: Gorilla, baby, you know whats next for these two, to regain the WWF Tag Team Titles, and bring them back to Nastyville. These men ran through the competition down south, and they are running through the competition up north Gorilla, the only thing standing between them and the titles is the Quebeccers signing that contract for a title match.
Monsoon: Is that a challenge for the champions?
Hart: Gorilla, come on, the challenge was made long ago. I have a plan for these two, and winning those titles is just the first part of it.
Monsoon: The challenge has been made, we’ll find out in the next few weeks if the Quebeccers will accept. When we come back, Piper’s Pit and we’ll find out who the challenger for WWF champion Yokozuna will be at the Royal Rumble.

HULK HOGAN!
Join us next week when more names will be revealed on the Royal Rumble Command Center. And now back to WWF RAW where Roddy Piper will announce Yokozuna’s challenger at the Rumble live on Piper’s Pit!
LIVE ON PAY PER VIEW FROM THE PROVIDENCE CIVIC CENTER
SUNDAY JANUARY 16
Monsoon: Holy Toledo Brain, Hulk Hogan will make his return at the Royal Rumble!
Heenan: I never liked Hogan, I never will, but I have to give him credit, he becomes and instant threat to WWF Champ Yokozuna just by being in the Royal Rumble. Just look at those names Monsoon, everyone from legends to rookies to ham and eggers want that shot at that match, and a shot at WWF Champion Yokozuna at Wrestlemania X.
Monsoon: Speaking of a shot at Yokozuna, we’re going to find out who gets that title shot at the Royal Rumble, lets head to the ring for Pipers Pit!
Piper: Well, well, well, once again, all eyes in the WWF are on the Hot Rod. The Royal Rumble is only 6 weeks away, WWF Champion Yokozuna is waiting around to find out who his challenger will be. I’ll tell ya one thing, it’s not me. But with no further ado, lets welcome back to the World Wrestling Federation

The Ultimate Warrior races down to the ring, runs around a lot, shakes the ropes, beats his chest and howls a bunch before Piper steps in.
Piper: Here we have former WWF Intercontinental Champion, former WWF World Heavyweight Champion, the man I thought got rid of Hulk Hogan once and for all, Mr. Ultimate Warrior. Mr. Warrior, comeone over, those poor ropes didn’t do nothin’ to no one, and tell us, how’d you get a shot at the most coveted title in the world today?
Warrior: A thousand generations ago, the gods came down from the Mountain of Fuji and gave a gift to the people, and that, my fellow Warriors, was the give to the Sumo. A thousand generations of those Sumo warriors have passed down through the generations the secrets that came from that great mountain, and Yokozuna is the culmination of those gifts. One the other side of the universe, the gods came down from almight Mount Olympus, and with a flash of thunder and clap of lightening, and gave the greeks the power to harness that power, and make it their own.
Piper: Okkaaaayyyyy
Warrior: Through the eras, and past the generations, both sets of warriors passed their specials skills on to the next, until, the inevitable has happened, the two clans, destined to clash will do so at the Royal Rumble and only one of those warriors will emerge vicotorious, and that warrior will be the ULTIMATE WARRIOR.
With that, the Ultimate Warrior goes back to running and shaking the ropes, as Piper stands there slightly bewildered.
Piper: Well, there it is, the Ultimate Warrior will be taking on Yokozuna at Royal Rumble.
Heenan: I knew that was going to happen Monsoon.
Monsoon: I’m sure you did Brain. Coming up when we return, The Superstar, Stunning Steve Austin will be in action.

Monsoon: Welcome back folks. In just a moment, we’re going to see the man who took Razor Ramon to the limit last week.
Heenan: Ramon was lucky that he was able to hold on to the end. A champion always knows how much time is left, and what he needs to do, but if you ask me, Ramon was barely hanging on.
Monsoon: I remember it a little differently Brain, lets take a look at it. The closing minutes from last weeks Intercontinental title match, right here on RAW.
Returning to the match, the crowd is on it’s feet as the ref is down, but DDP is about to get a Razor’s Edge while Austin recovers outside of the ring. The crowd is going crazy as Ramon hits it, and is about to get another when Austin low blows him from behind. Austin then picks up Ramon and delivers a piles driver. He wakes up referee Earl Hebner and covers Ramon for a two count. Austin is frustrated again, but doesn’t slow down, instead hurls Ramon into the ropes and slaps on a Million Dollar Dream sleeper hold. Ramon seems to be fading, but makes it to the ropes. Austin breaks, throws Ramon into the corner and charges, but Razor moves!
Austin is stunned and Ramon picks him up, Austin is in the crucifix and about to be dropped when Steve pushes off the ropes with his feet and espaces. He hits a knee to the gut of Ramon and hits a Diamond Cutter (Called a Superstar Stunner by Heenan) and gets another two count, but Ramon was too near the ropes. Austin again throws on the Million Dollar Dream, but Ramon, who’s defeated the Million Dollar Man himself a few times, sits out, and Austin nails his jaw on the top of Ramon’s head, and Austin is almost out cold.
Razor picks him up in the crucifix again, and looks around, as the crowd chants “Razor, Razor” and goes to throw Austin down

DING DING DING DING DING DING DING
It’s a time limit draw!
Monsoon: Looks like Ramon was ready to get the duke in that one, but you never know…..
Heenan: That’s right you never know, Austin could have been playing possum, maybe even softening Ramon up for a future rematch.
Monsoon: Gimme a break, Brain. Well, it looks like we’re ready for the next match as The Superster, Stunning Steve Austin is on his way to the ring.
The Superstar, Stunning Steve Austin W/ Diamond Dallas Page vs. Scott “The Stud” Riggs
Riggs, who was just announced for the Royal Rumble awaits in the ring for Austin and Diamond Dallas Page to make their way to the ring. Riggs is tough, but in the end Austin wins following a Superstar Stunner.
Winner: Steve Austin via pin @ 5:23
Terri Runnels comes to the ring.
Runnels: Another impressive victory for you Steve.
DDP: Of course it was an impressive victory. Just look at this man. Just this week, we had to turn down 3 movie roles, we had to tell Tom Cruise “NO! The Superstar can’t do it”; “NO, Mr. Mel Gibson, we can’t be in the next Lethal Weapon”; “NO, Bruce Willis, Die Hard with a Stunner isn’t going to happen”. You know why? Because Steve Austin might be a Superstar, but he ain’t no actor. Ain’t that right Steve?
Austin: I don’t have much to say today. But I do have one thing, and that’s this. Razor Ramon, you might have escaped last week. But you didn’t beat me. You didn’t stop me. And lemme tell you something. Where I come from, you call me “chico”, I whoop your butt, and son, I ain’t done whippin your’s yet. So you better watch your back Razor, and you’d better be ready for next time, cause the WWF ain’t big enough for both of us, and that’s the bottom line.

John Hawk w/ Bob Orton vs. Tommy Dreamer
Monsoon and Heenan mention that Dreamer is an up and comer and his dream to wrestle for the WWF finally comes true tonight. Hawk and Orton swagger to the ring. The two WWF rookies lock up, but it’s soon clear that Dreamer is over matched by the big Texan. Hawk batters Dreamer from pillar to post before viciously laying out Tommy with a Lariat. As a motionless Dreamer just lays there, Hawk gets the easy three count.
Winner: John Hawk via pin @ 5:51
As doctors rush to the ring to attend to Dreamer, immobilizing his neck, Hawk and Orton talk to Terri Runnels.
Before Terri can ask a question, Orton hast he mic.
Orton: I told the WWF, that this man is an animal. He’ll snap your neck like I snap my fingers. I heard that kids neck snap with the Lariat, and quite frankly, I don’t care. This is a sport for men, and my man here, John Hawk, is going to take over the WWF before all is said and through.
Orton and Hawk walk away and the camera heads back to the ring, where Dreamer is slowly being moved to a stretcher.
Commercial
Returning to the show, the camera is still on the ring, where Dreamer is slowly moved from the ring and carried to the back by a team of doctors.
Monsoon: It’s a shame, that young man might never step in the ring again.
Heenan: Cowboy Bob Orton and John Hawk reminded us all last week about Hawk’s neck breaking reputation.
Monsoon: Well Brain, the show must go on, lets head to the ring for our next matchup.
Johnny Polo w/ Pierre Oulette vs. Big Rick Fuller
The roles are reversed this week, as Oulette, ½ the WWF Tag Team Champions supports Polo, who is usually in the corner for the champs. Fuller uses his size to his advantage, but Oulette’s continued interference and distractions help Polo with a comeback. Fuller’s size lets him get the advantage back, but Polo is quick and has Rick trapped in the corner. The end comes when Fuller starts to come back and, while the referee is distracted, Oulette swings his tag title belt at him, but Fuller ducks and Polo is leveled with it, allowing Fuller to pick up a minor upset.
Winner: Rick Fuller via pin @ 8:26
Oulette and Polo argue a bit, but quickly make up.
Commercial
Polo and Oulette are still in the ring, now joined by Oulette’s partner, Jacques Rougeau.
They tell the Nasty Boys that they’ll need to WORK their way towards a match with them, until then, the Nasties won’t even be acknowledged. Jacques goes on to say he is getting sick of beating Janetty, but if Marty insists, he’ll do it again.
Jacques Rougeau w/ Carl Oulette & Johnny Polo vs. Marty Janetty
Janetty never really stands a chance, as the match is basically 3-1. Still, Marty has been around the block and is able to keep Rougeau off guard. The end seems near when Polo goes to hit Janetty with one of the WWF tag team title belts while Oulette distracts the referee, but history repeats itself and Janetty moves and Rougeau is pinned for the 3 count.
Winner: Marty Janetty via pin @ 6:24
The action doesn’t stop though, as soon as the pin is counted, Oulette and Polo hit the ring and attack Janetty. Soon Rougeau is up, and Janetty is in real trouble until the Nasty Boys run to the ring to make the save. All 6 men battle it out until the only ones left in the ring are Janetty and the Nasties. Grabbing the mic, Janetty challenges the Quebeccers and Polo to a 6 man match next week on RAW. Polo replies that they’ll take the match! The Quebeccers don’t look happy as they walk to the back with Polo.
Monsoon: Holy cow Brain, what a main event we have next week, the WWF Tag Team Champions the Quebeccers and Johnny Polo take on the Nasty Boys and Marty Janetty, and the champions don’t look thrilled with that.
