1)Scott McGhee defeated Armand Rougeau at 10:43 when McGhee reversed a Rougeau go-behind attempt and turn it into a German suplex with a bridge to get the fall just short of the eleven minute mark. Both men shook hands before and after what was a cleanly contested, scientific match.
2)Jerry Oske & Johnny Wilhoit defeated Tommy Wright & Billy Anderson at 12:11 when Oske pinned Anderson following an over-the-knee shoulder breaker. Wright and Anderson had never teamed and it showed as they seemed to be just a 'step behind' their opponents here today.
3)Magnum Force: Dave Peterson & Scott Hall defeated The Breakdancers: Brickhouse Brown & 'Stylin' Mark Ragin at 13:14 when Peterson pinned Ragin following a Hall assisted 'rocket launcher'. Both teams seemed to earn the respect of the other during the course of the contest.
INTERMISSION
4) George Wells pinned 'Wildman' Jack Armstrong at 10:45 following a big flying shoulder block from the second rope. Wells again was able to 'weather the storm' and make a comeback to get the victory in an evenly contested match up that saw Armstrong really 'pull out all of the stops' in order to try and secure victory. 'The Wildman' proved he isn't above cheating in this one but he still couldn't gain victory.
5)'Cowboy' Scott Casey pinned Jacques Rougeau at 19:55 following a bulldog headlock. Rougeau had went for the missile drop kick from the second rope, but 'the Cowboy' side stepped it and hit the bulldog as Jacques was getting to his feet. Casey proved in this contest that he could match Rougeau hold-for-hold and Jacques proved that he could trade punches with 'the Cowboy' if need be. This was a contest that either man could have won.
6) Davey Boy Smith & Jos LeDuc defeated Bret Hart & Harley Race at 30:17 when Smith pinned Race following a running power slam after Hart shoved Race right into Davey Boy's waiting arms. All four participants tried to co-exist, but after a while it was clear that things were going to be more-or-less 'every man for himself' with the big title tournament rapidly approaching and all four of these men participating.
