Bill Mercer is siting in the studio.
Mercer, “Fans, we are about one month away from the 'David Von Erich Parade of Champions'. We all know that Kerry Von Erich will challenge Ric Flair for the NWA World Title that day. Tonight, we will see Kerry return to action. What will his knee be like? That is the big question. We also have a great main event, Chavo Guerrero will face Black Bart. Let's go to Marc Lowrance and get things underway.”
Match #1
Chick Donovan vs. Al Madril
Two Californians, the bodybuilder and the Latin sensation, meet in the opener. The early moments go back and forth. Donovan overpowers Madril and things look bad for Al. The Dallas crowd gets behind Madril and he rallies. He traps Donovan in the Indian deathlock and that's it.
Winner-Al Madril
Match #2
Skip Young vs. The Magic Dragon
The minister's son from Dallas takes on the mysterious masked man from Macau. The Dragon is sharp and uses his martial arts in the early going. Young fights back with good old American wrestling. Young goes for a sleephold, but the Dragon gets to the ropes. Referee Bronko Lubich calls for the break. The Dragon goes to the underhanded tactics and then traps Young in the rolling sleeper. Skip is able to reverse the hold and cradle the Dragon for the win.
Winner-Skip Young
Mercer is seated in the studio. We see a still shot of Texas Stadium.
Mercer, “Fans, we are hear to tall about the big show on April 27. Bell time is 4:00 PM. We know that Ric Flair will defend the NWA World Title against Kerry Von Erich. Most fans believe that history will repeat itself. They believe that Kerry will, once again, be the World Champion. It won't be easy. Mr. Flair will not give up the title without a fight. We also know that Kevin Von Erich will challenge Gino Hernandez for the Texas Title. The match will be, no disqualification, no count out. The Von Erich family has great pride in the Texas Title and Kevin would like to add it to their collection. We will also have the World Six Man Titles up for grabs. The Champions, 'Devastation Incorporated', Killer Khan, the Missing Link and Kamala will defend against the team of, Skip Young, Al Madril and Brian Adias. What a match that will be. We can now add one match to the card. Because of last week's tag team title match, the Long Riders will defend the American Tag Team Titles against the Pretty Young Things. Tha will be a brawl. We will add more matches in the coming days.”
Match #3
Gary Young and Killer Brooks vs. Chief Jules Strongbow and Mike Reed
The rugged Young and Brooks make a great team. The young Reed and the veteran Chief will be a stiff test. The bell rings and it;s Young and Strongbow in the ring. They go back and forth and neither man gains an edge. Brooks tags in and the biker from Waxahachie goes to work on the Indian from Oklahoma. He uses his elbow brace to work over Strongbow. Reed tags in and fares no better. Brooks uses an elbow drop for the win.
Winners-Gary Young and Killer Brooks
Kerry Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, in a few moments you step back in the ring for the first time since defeating Chris Adams and re injuring your knee. What are your feelings.”
Kerry, “Marc, I want to get in the ring so bad. The fans have stayed with me and given me strength and inspiration. I know I can beat Flair again, but I need time in the ring. It starts tonight.”
Lowrance, “Kerry returns, next.”
Match #4
Kerry Von Erich vs. El Diablo
Referee David Manning and the masked man from Mexico wait in the ring. We hear,
Kerry comes to the ring and the crowd goes crazy. The bell rings and Kerry goes to work. He is still limping somewhat, but he is focused. The masked man fights, but he is no match for the “Modern Day Warrior”. Kerry hits the discus punch for the win.

Gary Hart and Black Bart are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “Mr. Hart, I notice Sunshine is not with you tonight.”
Hart, “And what business is that of yours? I tell you, none. Black Bart is here and Chavo Guerrero is in our sights.”
Bart, “That's right! That dadgum Mexican jumping bean has go to go! I've got beg plans in Texas and he's in my way!”
Hart, “I've know the Guerreros for a long time. Gory, Chavo's father, was a coward, and his son in following in the family footsteps.”
Lowrance, “That is not true in any way! Gary Hart is just trying to stir things up. Out main event is next.”
Match #5
Black Bart w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Chavo Guerrero
It's speed and agility vs. power and meanness in this one. Bart jumps Chavo before the bell and pounds away at the second generation star. Guerrero fights back and we have a pier six brawl on our hands. Guerrero rolls up Bart and referee Rick Hazzard counts two, but Bart kicks out. Bart uses a big right hand to put Chavo on the mat. Chavo whips Bart into the corner, but Hazzard is in the way. Both Bart and the referee go down. As this happens, Chris Adams comes to the ring.
He surprises Guerrero with a superkick. Adams rolls out of the ring. Bart gets to his feet and covers Guerrero. Hazzard struggles over and counts 1...2...3! Black Bart wins!
Winner-Black Bart
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “That was a miscarriage of justice. Chavo Guerrero will not that lying down. You now he will have something to say about it, perhaps next week. Speaking of next week, Gary Hart will be involved in out main event again. The Dynamic Duo, Chris Adams and Gino Hernandez, will be in action against the tag team of Iceman King Parsons and Skip Young. What a main event.”
