Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘World Championship Wrestling’. We are fast approaching the ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’. We know that the World Champion, Ric Flair, will be there on April 27, but we can also announce that he will be here in the days prior to the show. Ric Flair will be on World Class Television. Let’s talk about tonight’s program. The Long Riders are here. They were scheduled to defend their American Tag Team Titles against Al Madril and Chavo Guerrero. Madril and Guerrero had transportation problems and cannot be here. Ed Watt and the Championship Committee are meeting in the back and will have an announcement soon. Let’s get the show started. Marc Lowrance is in the ring.”
Match #1
Skip Young vs. Gary Young
Two talented wrestlers open up the show. Both men go after one another and the match is very even. Gary roughs up his namesake, but Skip fights back. Gary takes Skip down and uses the ropes for leverage and gets the pin. Skip argues with referee Rick Hazzard, but it does no good.
Winner-Gary Young
General Skandor Akbar and the Long Riders are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me are the American Tag Team Champions and General Skandor Akbar. Mr. Akbar, you were scheduled to meet Al Madril and Chavo Guerrero, but they missed their travel connections.”
Akbar, “Chickened out, that’s what happened!””
Lowrance, “Well, I don’t think that is true, but Ed Watt and the Championship Committee have remedied that problem. The Long Riders will meet the Pretty Young Things, with the titles on the line, tonight.”
Akbar, “Those two clowns! You have to be kidding me. My men will take care of business in record time.”
Lowrance, “So it’s the PYTs vs. The Long Riders for the titles.”
Match #2
Killer Khan w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Chief Jules Strongbow
Akbar leads the vicious Khan against the popular Indian from Oklahoma. The Mongolian goes to work with chops and kicks. His screams send chills down the spines of the fans. Strongbow is in trouble. Jules rallies, briefly, but he cannot maintain it. Khan goes back to work and wins with a kneedrop.

Match #3
Mike Von Erich vs. The Magic Dragon
Mike gets better and better as he gains experience,. The masked man from Macao will be a stern test. The Dragon looks good early. His martial arts skill is confusing to Mike. The Dragon goes for a cover, but Mike kicks out. He then goes to work and the Dragin is in retreat. Mike uses a victory roll for the win.
Winner-Mike Von Erich
Kevin Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Kevin Von Erich. Kevin, things are very busy for the Von Erich family right now. My first question is, how is Kerry?”
Kevin, “Kerry is getting better every day, He’ll be ready for Flair on the 27th. IN fact, he’ll be here next week.”
Lowrance, “That’s good to hear. Now about you. You meet Gino Hernandez on the Texas Stadium show. The match will be no disqualification, no count out.”
Kevin, “I want the Texas Title. Gino has escaped before, but this time I’ll take the title and the Texas Title will be back with the Von Erichs.”
Lowrance, “Things are heating up for the big show. Now let’s see Kevin in action.”
Match #4
Killer Brooks vs. Kevin Von Erich
The tough biker from Waxahachie takes on the popular Kevin Von Erich. Brooks jumps Kevin before the bell. He punches and kicks and the man from Denton is in trouble. Kevin slumps in the corner. Referee Bronko Lubich backs Brooks away and Kevin struggles to his feet. Brooks moves in again, but Kevin is ready. He fires back and now Brooks is in retreat. Kevin clamps on the Von Erich claw and it’s over.
Winner-Kevin Von Erich
The Pretty Young Things are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me are the challengers for tonight’s tag team title match, the Pretty Young Things. Gentlemen, you have the chance of a lifetime tonight.”
Ware, “It’s about time we get a shot! We beat every worthless team in Texas and we just now get a title shot? Why? It doesn’t matter. Those bikers better just turn over the titles and get out of town!”
Austin, “These stupid Texans just can’t handle a team like us, but now they have to! Like Koko said, those titles are ours!”
Lowrance, “Our main event is next.”
Match #5
American Tag Team Championship
The Long Riders (Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. The Pretty Young Things
Both teams pace back and forth. Marc Lowrance goes through the introductions. The crowd is not sure who to back in this one. The bell rings and it’s Norvell Austin and Bill Irwin in the ring. Austin uses his quickness to confuse Bill. Irwin tags in his brother and Scott goes to work. He traps Austin in the corner and pounds away. Austin escapes and tags in Koko B. Ware. Koko lands a dropkick and Irwin tumbles to the floor. Akbar gives Irwin some words of wisdom and he returns to the ring. The match picks up in pace and both teams tag in and out. All four men end up in the ring. They slug it out. Referee David Manning calls for the bell and disqualifies both teams.
Result-Double Disqualification
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “What a tag team match! Those two teams will have to meet again. We are getting closer to the big Texas Stadium show. Next week, we will have Kerry Von Erich here and in the main event, Black Bart meets Chavo Guerrero. Don’t miss it.”
