*non-televised house show
1) Jacques Rougeau pinned Billy Anderson at 12:15 following a missile drop kick from the second rope. Anderson proved he was more than capable of matching the French-Canadian hold for hold, but nobody was kicking out after the big drop kick as Jacques nearly took Anderson's head off with it. Following the contest, Rougeau took a moment to check on Anderson, who appeared to be okay.
2) Jerry Oske & Johnny Wilhoit defeated Brickhouse Brown & 'Stylin' Mark Ragin at 10:42 when Oske pinned Ragin following an over-the-knee shoulder breaker. Both teams appeared to be evenly matched, but the newly debuting Brown seems to be quite playful and it was of detriment to his partner here tonight as Brown convinced 'Stylin' Mark to 'break dance' with him before the contest instead of preparing for their opponents.
3) Bret Hart defeated 'The Canadian Freight Train' Jos LeDuc by disqualification at 15:25 when the referee caught LeDuc jabbing Bret in the wind pipe with his wooden axe handle. LeDuc continued his assault on Hart following the contest until Harley Race ran in, grabbed a chair and made the save as he chased Jos from the ring. LeDuc's dastardly actions that got him disqualified appeared to be an act of desperation as Hart looked to have LeDuc in trouble a number of times during the contest.
INTERMISSION
4) 'Cowboy' Scott Casey pinned 'Wildman' Jack Armstrong at 9:17 following a running bulldog headlock in his debut in the area.
5) Magnum Force: Dave Peterson & Scott Hall defeated The Interns #1 & #2 (w/Tux Newman) at 13:10 when Hall pinned #2? following a flying double shoulder tackle by both Force members. This was a standard tag team match with the veterans controlling a good portion of the match while Peterson struggled to try and make the hot tag to Hall. Newman's team really knows it's way around the ring and really frustrated Hall during the contest by preventing Peterson from making the tag out to his partner a number of times. Eventually, a miscue allowed Hall to legally enter the ring and it was all Magnum Force from there.
6) Davey Boy Smith pinned former 7 time World's Champion Harley Race at 20:43 following the running power slam. The end came when Jos LeDuc came to ringside, pointed his axe handle at Harley and then ran his thumb across his throat in a 'heads off' motion while making his famous 'don't call me CRAZY face'. Race reached out and grabbed the handle and both men ended up in a tug-of-war over it with Jos eventually choosing to let go once he saw Smith was 'primed and ready' to take advantage of the situation. Upon letting go of the object, the axe handle went flying into the air, causing Race to stagger backwards and turn right into Davey Boy's waiting arms as the Brit scooped the former champion and quickly went into the running power slam to get the fall.
