The show opens with Bill Mercer and Kerry Von Erich seated in the studio.
Mercer,”Fans, this interview is being taped several hours before the Sportatorium show. With me is Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, you have been injured for a couple of weeks. You are scheduled to defend the American Heavyweight Title against Chris Adams tonight. The winner will go on to meet Ric Flair at the ‘Parade Of Champions., Are you ready for tonight?”
Kerry, “Bill, the doctors advised me not to wrestle tonight. They say my knee is not healed and I could do permanent damage to it, but I don’t care. I’m not going to let my fans down and I’m not going to let my family down. I am wrestling tonight, and I’m going to beat Adams, and then, in April, I’m going to beat Flair and be the World Champion again!”
Mercer, “Kerry Von Erich is determined. Kerry, I just hope you are making a wise decision.”
Kerry, “Bill, I know what I’m doing, I will beat Adams.”
Mercer, “I guess that settles it.”
Match #1
Killer Brooks vs. Mike Reed
The rugged Brooks takes the fight to Reed. The youngster fights back, but he is no match for Brooks. The man from Waxahachie wins with an elbow drop.
Winner-Killer Brooks
General Skandor Akbar and “Devastation Incorporated” are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me are General Skandor Akbar, and the new World Six Man Tag Team Champions. General Akbar, your men defeated the Von Erichs, but not without the help of Black Bart and his branding iron. Are you and Gary Hart working together?”
Akbar, “The General doesn’t need any help. I have my agenda and Hart has his. Sometimes they are the same, and we have similar goals, but ‘Devastation Incorporated’ doesn’t need any help!”
Lowrance, “Well, you have several teams who would like a shot at those titles, the Von Erichs and maybe some combination of Hart’s men.”
Akbar, “Look at Killer Khan, the Missing Link and Kamala, do you think they worry about who we wrestle? They just want to destroy anyone in their path!”
Lowrance, “The new Champions will be hard to beat.”

Non-Title Match
Killer Khan, the Missing Link and Kamala (World Six Man Tag Team Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Buck Zumhofe, Jules Strongbow and El Diablo
Akbar’s Champions are very intimidating. The weird Missing Link opens up against Zumhofe. Buck tries to hit and run and it works for a while. The Link is frustrated and tags in Kamala. The big Ugandan catches Buck and goes to work. Strongbow tags in and suffers the same fate. Finally Khan and the masked El Diablo are in the ring. The vicious Mongolian hits the kneedrop for the win.

Iceman King Parsons vs. John Davidson
Parson has been riding high until Black Bart,with the help of Kabuki, knocked him off last week, The big California biker will be a stiff test. The bell rings and Davidson attacks the Iceman. Parson is in early trouble. Parson fights back and now Davidson is in retreat. Parsons hits the butt bump for the win.

Gary Hart, Sunshine, Gino Hernandez and Chris Adams are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, ‘With me are Gary Hart, Sunshine and the Dynamic Duo. Mr. Hart, tonight, Chris Adams takes on Kerry Von Erich. Thanks to Skandor Akbar, and probably you, Kerry is injured. What is your take on this one?”
Adams, “I’ll take this Gary. Kerry Von Erich is a doward. He tried to get out of this match by claiming he is injured. It didn’t work and now I’ll take the American Title and then beat Ric Flair.”
Hart, “Chris Adams is the best young wrestler in the sport. Kerry Von Erich wants no part of him, but there is no escape now. The end is here for Von Erich.”
Hart, “Now let’s talk about Gino Hernandez. Gino. you meet Kevin Von Erich at Texas Stadium in a no disqualification, no countout match.”
Hernandez, “Kevin Von Erich, just another coward. He can’t beat the ‘Handsome Halfbreed’ in a regular match, so he tries this. he can’t beat me because I am your Champion!”
Lowrance, “Gino Hernandez is in the ring next.”

Gino Hernandez (Texas Champion) w/”Playboy” Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. PVT Terry Daniels
Plays and Gino Hernandez hits the ring. The bell rings and Gino puts on a clinic. He dominate the former U.S. Marine and wins with an elbow drop.

Bill Mercer is at the announce desk.
Mercer, “We know that Kerry Von Erich meets Chris Adams tonight, with the winner in line to meet Ric Flair at the ‘Parade of Champions’. Let;s hear from Mr. Flair.”
Ric Flair stands in front of a wrestling ring. He wears a suit and holds the NWA Title.
Flair, “The Nature Boy is headed to Texas! Waiting for me will be Kerry Von Erich, I know how good he is, or Chris Adams, a great young wrestler! The Nature Boy only wrestles the best! This is what is going to happen, Ric Flair comes to Texas, he parties with all those beautiful yellow roses, then he beats Von Erich, or Adams, and then he leaves, That’s the way it goes down! WOOOOOOO!”
Mercer, “Let’s see who Ric Flair is going to wrestle.”

American Heavyweight Championship
Kerry Von Erich (Champion) vs. Chris Adams w/”Playboy” Gary Hart and Sunshine
Plays and Chris Adams, with Gary Hart and Sunshine come to the ring. We then hear,
Kerry Von Erich comes to the ring. His knee is heavily bandages and he is limping noticeably. It looks bad for the Champion. The bell rings and Adams goes to work. He attacks Kerry’s injured knee. Kerry slumps in the corner and Adams puts the boots to his knee. Kerry is able to fight his way out of the corner, but it doesn’t last long. Chris takes him down and uses a stepover toehold to punish Kerry even more. Adams covers Kerry, but Von Erich kicks out before referee Bronko Lubich counts three. Kerry continues to wrestle bravely, but how long can he hold on? Adams continues to work over Kerry. Adams sets Kerry for the piledriver. He starts to get him up, but Kerry grabs an inside cradle. Lubich counts 1...2...3! Kerry Von Erich wins!
Winner-Kerry Von Erich
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Kerry Von Erich shows why he is the ‘Uncrowned World Champion’. However, I don’t think Gary Hart will take this lying down. We will talk more about next week, We have a great main event. The Long Riders defend the American Tag Team Championship against Al Madril and Chavo Guerrero.”
