Jim: “Fans we are back at the McNeil Boxing Club after a brief absence, we hoped you enjoyed Mid South Wrestling from Oklahoma City the past few weeks. A LOT has happened over the last few weeks and with an extrapolation of the issues at hand I give you Bill Watts!
Bill: “Jim, I will make my position on Junkyard Dog known in time enough, but the news this week is the Feb 25 deadline has expired, which means Hacksaw Jim Duggan and Junkyard Dog are no longer tag team champions because of the 30 day rule which states champions must defend their titles once every 30 days.
"Grizzly Smith has ordered the titles be filled with a 8 TEAM TOURNAMENT to be held in Tulsa March 15! The Freebirds have thrown their hat in the ring, The Mantell Corporation will be represented, and the tag team titles are so important in the world of sports, even former AWA World Heavyweight champoion Jumbo Tsurutra and former Japan Sumo chamo Genichiru Tenyru will fly in from Japan, and UWA World Champion Canek and Mil Mascaras' brother Dos Caras will fly up from Mexico, to compete for the titles. We hope to have all teams announced sometime this hour or early next week.
“One more thing, Jim, fans in Tulsa will have something VERY exciting to look forward to besides all the action in the ring, and I will reveal THAT surprise later in the hour!
Jim: “Thank you for that Bill and now let’s go to BOYD PIERCE with the announcement of the principles for the first match of the week!

Hacksaw: “Bill Watts, Jim Ross it’s a shame, a dog-gonned shame that Junkyard Dog has lost his frame of mind to the point where he not only attacked ME, but is so blinded by that no-good Ken Mantell he would walk away from them tag team titles! That’s no way to advance a career, and I think, I KNOW, that when Junkyard sees what is on this video cassette, a video cassette of our match against Mosca and Khan, he will KNOW he has been tricked.
"I know JYD hasn’t seen the TV show either, because if he did, the first thing he would do is pick up the phone, and say, ‘Hacksaw, let’s not only defend them tag team titles, LETS CHALLENGE THE MANTELL CORPORATION for what they did to me!”
“I know Junkyard doesn’t have a video player, after all, he’s too stubborn to buy an answering machine! So there’s no way he knows the truth: Ken Mantell hit him over the head with the 2x4, not me, in Oklahoma City!
Bill: “Well, tell you what Hacksaw, I have a hot tip for you: Junkyard Dog will be here, NEXT WEEK, for an interview---and you are invited, and here, bring this tape with you! As matter of fact, Hacksaw, I will have a video cassette player here, ready to go, and you can show it to him LIVE!
Hacksaw: “I appreciate that Bill and Jim, how can Junkyard Dog say no to a minute of his time to see what really happened? And then, when it’s all cleared up, I think we will have the old Junkyard Dog back again!
