Bill Mercer is seated in the studio.
Mercer, “Last spring we celebrated the all too brief life of David Von Erich and the ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’. Kerry Von Erich, wrestling for David, won the World Title from Ric Flair. This year, on Sunday afternoon, April 27, World Class Championship Wrestling presents the second ‘David Von Erich Parade of Champions’ and Ric Flair will be there. Let’s hear from Mr. Flair.”
Flair is standing, in a suit and holding the NWA World Title.
Flair, “Dallas, TX! The Nature Boy knows Dallas, TX! Lots of pretty ‘Yellow Roses’ there and lots of frisky cowgirls! There are a lot of great wrestlers too. Kerry Von Erich, you took my title! I tip my hat to you, but I won it back and I still have it. The NWA hasn’t told me who I’m wrestling that day, I don’t care. If it’s a Von Erich, I’ll win, if it’s Gino Hernandez, the Nature Boy will win, if it’s Killer Khan, he’s going to lose! Ric Flair was born to hold the title and I’m not giving it up!”
Mercer, “Strong words from the Nature Boy. Stay tuned for more information on this huge card.”
Match #3
Killer Brooks vs. Kevin Von Erich
Brooks and Rick Hazzard wait in the ring and we hear,
Kevin Von Erich fights through the crowd and enters the ring. The rugged man from Waxahachie takes the fight to Kevin. Brooks dishes it out, but Kevin takes it and gives it back in spades. Hart, "I'll let Chris and Sunshine talk first."
Sunshine, "I'll start this! Chris Adams is going to destroy Skip Yoing tonight, and then he's coming after Kerry Von Erich! Right Chris?"
Adams, "Skip Young, you can't beat me. You shouldn't even step in the ring with me, and Von Erich, you stole that title from Gino, and I'm going to take it from you!"
Lowrance, "Mr. Hart, what about the tag title match!"
Hart, "I've got one thing to say to Skandor Ak-a-bar, you and I have worked together before, and we might do it again, but tonight is business. My men are taking the titles. It's just business."
Lowrance, "Chris Adams vs. Skip Young is next."
