Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt are at the desk. Solie says that Bobby Heenan did bring a man into the West Palm Beach Auditorium on Monday Night and you are not going to believe what that man did to The Southern Heavyweight Champion “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes!! We will see footage of that later today. But first some sobering news as Eddie Graham was laid to rest earlier in the week, Solie says that everyone he has talked to has expressed care and sympathy for the Graham family, but that they have also wanted to know what is going to happen to Championship Wrestling from Florida. Solie says that former professional wrestler and promoter George Scott has agreed to come in as a partner and take control of Championship Wrestling from Florida, he says Scott’s first order of business was to appoint ”Mr. Wrestling” Tim Woods as commissioner and matchmaker. Tim Woods comes out and shakes hands with both Solie and Colt. Woods says he wants to assure the fans that the great action you are used to seeing in Florida isn’t going to change and that everyone is committed to the legacy of excellence that Eddie Graham had left behind.
Woods says that he has some news as it relates to the Florida Championship, the current Champion Mike Graham has decided to relinquish the title and step down as Champion as he helps guide his family through this difficult time, Woods says that as soon as Mike returns he will be given a shot at the Florida Title no matter who the Champion is. Woods then announces that they are working on the best way to decide the new Florida Champion and that will be announced in the coming weeks. He does however say that this Monday in the West Palm Auditorium, both the United States Tag Team Title will on the line when the Midnight Express defends against Terry Taylor and Barry Windham he also says ”The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes will face a new comer to the area, Robert Fuller who will make his debut here today on the program and who will try and take the Southern Title from Dusty. That announcement brings Bobby Heenan and Paul Orndorff out to the desk! Heenan wants to know what kind of bull this is? He says if anyone should be getting a shot on Monday it’s the man who left Dusty Rhodes lying in the middle of the ring, Paul Orndorff. Mr. Woods doesn’t agree and actually says that because Mr. Orndorff used an illegal piledriver, he is being suspended from competition for the week as well as fined!!! Some of Tampa’s finest come out to escort Heenan and Orndorff out of the building!! Heenan says that Woods will regret this!!! Solie sends us to a commercial.

Cpl Kirschner joins Gordon and Buddy, they show footage from Monday night when he was attacked by ”Wild” Bill Ash and the Arkansas Strap. Kirschner reveals he will be fighting “Wild” Bill Ash in a strap match on Monday Night, Kirschner says he has been distracted by Ash for too long and that Monday Night he finishes him off and moves on to bigger things here in Florida. Kirschner also says he saw what happened to Dusty Rhodes on Monday Night and tells Dusty if the Dream needs a helping hand to just give him a call.
THE ASSASSIAN STOMPS LUC PORIER WINNING WITH A HEADBUTT
The Assassin comes over to the desk and gets in Gordon Solie’s face for the accusation that he loads his mask and that he needed to load his mask to beat The Falcon on this TV Program. As the Assassin continues to brow beat Gordon, The Falcon comes out to the desk and tells the Assassin to show some respect to Gordon. The Assassin tells Falcon he has no business out here and the Assassin doesn’t have time for someone he already beat. Falcon says he wants another match this Monday with the Assassin, The Assassin refuses saying he has nothing to gain, so Falcon puts his mask up, if Assassin wins Falcon will unmask and give his mask to the Assassin. Assassin takes the match saying he can’t wait to embarrass The Falcon and prove once again who the greatest masked wrestler of all time is.

Jim Cornette and the Midnite Express are at the desk and Cornette is not happy he was ejected from ringside on Monday Night when “Loverboy” Dennis was fighting Barry Windham. After ranting and raving about it he moves on to talk about this Monday Night and how his boys once again have the chance to take out Windham and Taylor!!! Cornette says he is sick and tired of Terry Taylor and when the Midnites get done with him on Monday he is going to wish he left Florida with Stan Lane!!!!! Cornette says later in the program they are going to have to face the team they took the US Tag Titles from Rick McGraw and David Sammartino Cornette says the two men must be idiots for trying to face them again.

Fuller then joins Gordon and Buddy at the desk, Gordon welcomes Fuller to Florida and Fuller says he is glad to be here. He said his ultimate goal is to wrestle Ric Flair for the NWA World Title and is putting that challenge out there right now. Asked about his match with Dusty this Monday Fuller says that it was something he insisted on when he signed his contract, they offered a sizable signing bonus but he turned it down, instead he wanted a match with Dusty Rhodes cause if you want to be the best in wrasslin you gotta beat the best and ain’t many better then the 2 time World Champion. Fuller thanks Gordon and Buddy, shakes their hands and heads to the back. Shaking hands with fans on his way.
We then see a music video for THE FANTASTICS! an exciting young tag team which will be coming to Florida this Monday Night!!!

Barry Windham & Terry Taylor dressed in polo shirts and jeans are with Gordon and Buddy at the desk. Gordon mentions how they split their matches with the MX this past Monday. Barry speaks up first telling Terry he is sorry that he wasn’t out there to stop Jim Cornette from getting involved the way Terry was there for him later in the night. Terry says there are no hard feelings he saw Barry in the trainer’s room before the match and knew he was getting tended to. Barry says that this Monday they are ready to go for the US Tag Titles and nothing is going to stop them from winning them.
“WILD” BILL ASH BEAT CARL FERGIE WITH A DDT
After the match Ash grabbed his Arkansas Strap and started to whip Fergie with it! He wouldn’t stop until Cpl Kirschner ran out the back and attacked. The Cpl got a couple of hits in with the strap before Ash ran away. The Cpl got the mic and told Ash he won’t be able to run away on Monday Night!!!

THE UNITED STATES TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE MIDNITE EXPRESS WITH JIM CORNETTE BEAT RICK MCGRAW AND DAVID SAMMARTINO WHEN THEY PINNED MCGRAW AFTER A DOUBLE FLAPJACK!
After the match Sammartino came in the ring and violently pulled McGraw to his feet. He yelled at McGraw for losing and getting pinned, McGraw tried to head to the back but Sammartino pulled him back, Sammartino kept yelling at McGraw, McGraw tried to walk away a second time and Sammartino pulled him back again, McGraw threw his hands up in the air and went to leave a third time, this time Sammartino grabbed him and slugged him!!!! Sammartino got on top of McGraw and was beating him up until some job guys came out to break up the fight. Gordon says it looks like that team is over. He says when we come back the Southern Champion will be here!

Gordon announces that during the break they were informed that this Monday David Sammartino is going to fight Rick McGraw!!
Gordon then brings out The Southern Champion Dusty Rhodes!! Rhodes says that he is looking forward to facing Robert Fuller this Monday Night and that Fuller may want a shot at the NWA World Title, but so does The Dream and the line for a title shot starts behind Rhodes. Talk then turns to what happened this past Monday Night and the piledriver from Paul Orndroff, Rhodes says that he understands Orndorff has been suspended for this week, but he wants Orndorff in the ring next week, he’ll put the Southern Title up if that’s what it takes, he’ll make it no DQ, he’ll make it non sanctioned daddy, heck they can just fight in the streets if that’s what it takes, but he wants a piece of “Mr. Wondeful” jack!!! Dusty walks off and Gordon says “So Long from The Sunshine State!!”
