Platt and Stewart are joined at the desk by the entire Stud Stable who has had a great week. They’ve kicked the crap out Austin Idol and the Midnight Rebels from one end of the territory to the other, and it’s only a matter of time before the Stable has all the gold. The tension rises as the Midnight Rebels make their way out for their match and a shouting match erupts at the desk.
follows closely behind Prichard and Jannetty, and issues a stern warning to Ron Fuller, that if any member of the Stud Stable gets involved in the Rebels’ match, not only will they not receive any title matches in the month of January, but Fuller himself will be fined 15,000 dollars! The Tennessee Stud nearly has a conniption, and as soon as Mr. Thesz turns his back, Fuller has to be restrained by his men, well until Lou turns to look once more and big Ron whistles Dixie while giving the NWA Rep and former 6-Time Champion a smile and a nod!
Match 2
Ref: Bobby Simmons
Southeastern Tag Team Champions, The Midnight Rebels defeated the tag team in High Demand across the country, Jimmy Backlund and the Ragin Bull after planting Barber with the Rebel Yell backdrop/powerbomb combination at 8’11.
After the contest Southeastern Heavyweight Champion, the Boss, Austin Idol joins Charlie Platt at the desk and says that he ain’t exactly sure why the Stud Stable had such a great week because he and the Rebels took 3 out of the 4 six-man tag team matches this past week. As the tag team champions approach the desk and shake hands with Idol,
The Tennessee Stud makes his way back to the set. “Well since Mr. Thesz wants to come out here and start talking money, I might as well do the same thing. You want to shoot your mouth off about winning matches, well hows about next week we have one more six-man match? And if you three can somehow manage to beat mah boys on TV, I will pay you that $15,000 that Mr. Thesz so desperately wants out of me. But when we win, the man who takes the fall gets to decide the stipulation for their title shot, whaddya say?”
Idol, Jannetty, and Prichard don’t take long to agree to the terms, and that next week all the great fans in the area had better be prepared cause if the house show fights are any indication of what’s in store for that TV match next week, ya better hide the women and children, daddy.

In an incredible show of strength, Double A was able to not only get the former Georgia Bulldog Defensive Lineman up into the air for his dreaded Ghordbuster, but he held him there, letting all the blood rush to his head, before planting Zane and picking up the victory @ 11’21

But the adrenaline dump that followed their initial outburst proved costly as Checkmate and Josef singled out the Alabama Champ’s knee and tortured it for the duration of the contest. Each time Brick tried to make the save, it ended up costing his mentor even more pain, and in a shocking turn of events, PORKCHOP CASH SUBMITTED TO CHECKMATE’s inverted Communist Deathlock at 10’41.
