Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Fans there is a lot going on in ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’. The Von Erichs have regained the six man titles after a quest of over a year. Lance Von Erich has arrived in Texas, as has Black Bart. 1985 will be some year. Let’s talk about tonight. Kevin Von Erich challenges Gino Hernandez for the Texas Title tonight. The Von Erichs could add another title to their collection, but not if Gary Hart has anything to do with it. Let’s go to Marc Lowrance.”
Match #1
Black Bart w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. El Diablo
The big cowboy from South Dakota comes to the ring. The veteran from Mexico, will be a challenge. Sunshine does not accompany Bart to the ring. I think she is just a little afraid of him. El Diablo gets off to a good start. He uses his quickness and guile to confuse Bart. Finally, Bart traps him in a corner and goes to work. Bart dominates the action and wins with the Texas trash compactor.

Killer Brooks vs. PVT Terry Daniels
The veteran from Waxahachie takes the fight to the ex-marine. Daniels puts up a fight and this seems to anger Brooks even more. He pounds away and Daniels is now in trouble. Brooks uses the elbow drop for the win.
Winner-Killer Brooks
Gary Hart, Gino Hernandez and Sunshine are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is the Texas Champion, Gino Hernandez, Gary Hart and Sunshine. Mr. Hernandez, you meet Kevin Von Erich tonight. he has come close to taking the title from you.”
Hernandez, “First of all, I am your Champion, and Kevin Von Erich, I will reeaminathe Champion. You are not going to take this from me. It means too much to me. I like the idea that all of these Texas hicks have to bow to me, their Champion!”
Hart. “Gino is very confident, but we don’t take Kevin Von Erich lightly, but we do know that Gino Hernandez will beat him and keep the title.”
Sunshine, “Kevin, you try to be a real man, but I know better. Gino and Chris are men and that’s who I want to be around.”
Lowrance, “Gino Hernandez defends the Texas Title against Kevin Von Erich in our main event tonight.”
Match #3
The Pretty Young Things vs. Jules Strongbow and Johnny Mantell
Plays and the PYTs come to the ring. They have been very impressive in their short time in World Class. Strongbow and Mantell will be a good test. The bell rings and it’s Koko Ware and Mantell in the ring. They go back and forth with neither man getting the edge. The match continues and Strongbow and Norvell Austin end up in the ring. Austin uses the diving headbutt for the win.

Chavo Guerrero is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Chavo Guerrero. Chavo, you have returned to Texas. What are your plans?”
Guerrero, “Marc, I came back to Texas because this is where the competition is. You have the Vlon Erics, Hart’s men, Devastation, the best in wrestling is here in Dallas. I don’t care who I wrestle. I’ll take on anyone, at any time.”
Lowrance, “Chavo Guerrero is one of the top names in the sport. He will be a worthy opponent for anyone. When we come back, he will be in the ring.”

Chavo Guerrero vs. Mike Reed
The youngster, Reed, is game. He takes the fight to Chavo. The veteran. from El Paso, bides his time and then explodes. He goes after Reed and Mike has no answer. Chavo uses the Gory special for the win.

Kevin Von Erich and Bill Mercer are seated in the studio.
Mercer, “Welcome to the ‘World Class Championship Wrestling’ studios. This interview was taped before our broadcast began. With me is Kevin Von Erich, tonight, he takes on Gino Hernandez with the Texas Title on the line. Kevin, I know this match means a lot to you.”
Kevin, “It does Bill. The Texas Title represents Texas, and I am a proud Texan. We got the six man titles back, and that meant a lot, but this is an individual title. Hernandez is a loudmouth and not someone Texans can be proud of. I need to take the title from him.”
Mercer, “Hernandez is a loudmouth, but he is very good and it won’t be easy to take the title from him.”
Kevin, “I know that Bill. I’m ready for him, and Hart and if Sunshine sticks her nose into things, I may do what David did to here a few years ago. She needs a whoopin.”
Mercer, “I think you may be right. Our main event is Kevin vs. Gino, for the Texas Title.”

Texas Championship
Gino Hernandez (Champion) w/”Playboy” Gary Hart and Sunshine vs. Kevin Von Erich
The sound system plays,
Kevin fights his way through the crowd and enters the ring. The din is deafening. Now we hear,
Hernandez struts to the ring with Gary Hart and Sunshine. He climbs in the ring and reminds the fans that he is “their Champion”. David Manning is the third man in the ring. Both men pace back and forth as Marc Lowrance goes through the introductions. The bell rings and both men advance cautiously. They lock up and exchange holds and counter holds. Both men are very sharp tonight. Kevin grabs a side headlock, but Gino shoots him into the ropes and drops him with a shoulder tackle. Von Erich gets to his feet. he goes after Hernandez. Kevin grabs a sleephold! Hart shouts for Gino to get to the ropes. He does and Manning calls for a break. The match goes back and forth until Kevin calls on the support of the crowd and takes the fight to the Champion. It looks like we may see a title change. Both men are near the ropes and Kevin goes for backdrop. Kevin flips Gino over the top rope and to the floor. Manning calls for the bell. He disqualifies Von Erich! Kevin realizes what has happened, he has lost his chance.
Winner-Gino Hernandez (Disqualification)
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Kevin Von Erich sees a golden opportunity slip through his fingers. He will have to live with this. We are running short of time. Let’s talk about next week. We have another title match for our main event. Kerry Von Erich will defend the American Heavyweight Title against a member of ‘Devastation Incorporated’, the Missing Link. Don’t miss that one.”
