JR and the King open the show.
Ross, “Welcome to ‘Monday Night RAW’ and Chicago! We are two weeks ago from the ‘Royal Rumble’. We have an exciting night of wrestling tonight and we have more information about the ‘Rumble’.”
Lawler, “JR, Things are heating up and we have a great main event tonight. Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart take on Paul Bearer’s team, Kane, and Mankind.”
Ross, “That will be a slobberknocker. We will also see Steve Austin in action tonight and we will also see the ‘New Nation of Domination’ lead by the ‘Rock’. Let’s go to the ‘Fink’ in the ring!”
Match #1
“Marvelous” Marc Mero w/Sable vs. MIguel Perez Jr.
Mero is using his new “boxing” style. Perez is a second generation Superstar and gives a good account of himself. Mero’s too much and wins with the TKO.

The Godwinns vs. The Road Warriors
The hog farmers from Arkansas take on the hometown “Legion of Doom:.The Godwinns look good early. They brawl with the Warriors. Henry gets a two count on Hawk, but he kicks out. Animal tags in. The bigger Road Warrior goes to work. He power slams Phineas for the win.
Winners-The Road Warriors
Todd Pettengill is with the Rock and the Nation of Domination.
Pettengill, “With me is the Nation of Domination and their new leader, Rocky Maivia.”
Rock, “Listen to me you jabroni, I am the ‘Rock’, and that’s what you will call me!”
Pettengill, “O.K., ‘Rock’, tell us about the new Nation.”
Rock, “Listen to me, look at these men! They have a leader they can respect, a leader they look up to! The Rock, and that is my name, is the leader of the Nation! I Listen Todd Pettengill, and by the way, what kind of a name is that? the wrestling world is about to change, Hart, Diesel, Undertaker, Austin, the Rock is here and your lives just got very difficult!”
Pettengill, “The Nation has arrived.”

The Rock w/The Nation vs. Marty Jannetty
The Rock comes out on a mission. The veteran Jannetty gives his best, but the Rock is too much. He outclasses Marty and wins with the Rock Bottom.

Todd Pettengill is with Paul Bearer, Kane and Mankind.
Pettengill, "With me is Paul Bearer and his tag team. Mr. Bearer, your two men are destroying the competition in the WWF. Tonight you take on Bret Hart and Jim Nedihart. What is in store for them?"
Bearer, "Oooooooh yeeeeeeees! Kane and Mankind are on a mission of devastation! When my Undertaker betrayed me, these two stepped up and we have cut a path of destruction through the WWF! That path will continue. Bret Hart you will meet my Undertaker at the 'Royal Rumble', if there is anything left of you!"
Mankind, "Bret Hart, you had the perfect wrestling upbringing, not like Kane and I. Look at us, we're hideous, We're deformed, but We like it this way. We weren't trained by our fathers! Our fathers won't even acknowledge us, but tonight, Kane and I will destroy you tonight, you will be carried out of here tonight, and Kane and I will be the matinee idols, and you will be one shunned by society!"
Pettengill, "Bret Hart meets the Undertaker in two weeks, if he and Neidhart survive tonight!"

Non-Title Match
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin (Intercontinental Champion) vs. Paul Roma
Roma and referee Billy Silverman are waiting in the ring. Vince McMahon struts down the ramp and climbs into the ring. He takes the mic from Howard Finkle and looks at Roma.
McMahon, "Get the hell out of here!"
Roma leaves the ring.
McMahon, "The Intercontinental Title is one of the most prestigious titles in the WWF. All the way back to Pat Patterson, great wrestlers have held this title. Chicago is a great WWF coty, you deserve a title match! 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin is going to defend the title tonight, but not against Paul Roma, but against this man!"
The One Man Gang comes down the ramp. McMahon says something to Gang and leaves the ring. Austin's music hits and he marches to the ring.
Match #4
Intercontinental Championship
"Stone Cold" Steve Austin (Champion) vs. One Man Gang
Austin come through the ropes and the Gang attacks him. The big man from Halstead Street has returned to the WWF at Vince McMahon’s bidding, we think. Austin is in trouble. He slumps in the corner and OMG pounds away. This does not last long. Austin recovers and fights back. We have a knock-down drag-out brawl. Both men through haymakers. Out of nowhere, Austin hits the stunner. He covers the Gang and Bill Silverman counts the fall. Austin pulls one out of the fire.

Little Guido vs. Brian Pillman
Pillman storms to the ring and attacks Guido. He works over the youngster and Guido does not have a chance to use his mat wrestling skills. Pillman tosses Guido to the floor. Guido returns to the ring and holds his own. but Pillman is too much. Brian uses “Air Pillman” for the win.

Todd Pettengill is seated at the “Royal Rumble Control Center” set.
Pettengill, “Welcome to the ‘Royal Rumble Control Center’. We are just a few days away from the big show. We have a lot to talk about. First, let’s talk about the ‘Rumble’ itself. Thirty Superstars will participate. Two will begin and every minute after that, another will enter. You are eliminated it you are tossed over the top rope and to the floor. The winner is the man remaining. Numbers have been assigned, but only two have been announced. WWF owner, Vince McMahon, announced that ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin has drawn number one and a ‘Mystery Wrestler’ has drawn number 30. Here are some of the Superstars who are entered,
The Rock, Ahmed Johnson, Mark Henry, Brian Pillman, Jim Neidhart, The New Age Outlaws, the Road Warriors, Marc Mero, Razor Ramon, Bradshaw, Kama, Savio Vega, Hunter Hearst Helmsley, Mankind, Kane, Diesel and Shawn Michaels, and of course, Steve Austin and our mystery wrestler.
That match, alone, would be enough to pique your interest, but we also have four non-Rumble matches.

“Hacksaw” Jim Duggan vs. Fatu
Hacksaw Jim Duggan returns to the WWF! He comes to the ring with a 2x4 and Old Glory. The Chicago crowd goes crazy.Duggan gives the thumbs up to the crowd. The young Samoan, Fatu, will be a good test for the veteran. Hacksaw starts quickly and the young Fatu is in retreat. The Samoan goes to the power moves and has some success. Duggan draws on the cheers of the crowd and goes to work. He hits the spear for the win.

Pettengill, "Gentlemen, you face Paul Bearer's team of Mankind and Kane next. You heard them earlier, they don't just want to beat you, they want to destroy you."
Neidhart, "HHAHAHA! Let them try! Bret and I are ready for anything!"
Hart, "Bearer, you have two crazy men with you. They don't want to wrestle, they want to maim you. Jim and I are ready for that! You bring the best you have, and we'll beat you!"

Mankind and Kane w/Paul Bearer vs. Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart
Paul Bearer's "Halloween" tag team will be a tall test for the former "Heart Foundation". Bret Hart has a date with the Undertaker at the "Royal Rumble". This could be a bad night for him. Hart and Mankind start the match. Bret tries to wrestle, but Mankind is only interested in brawling. Mankind goes for the mandible claw, but Bret blocks it and tags in Neidhart. Tne former football player goes to work. Kane tags in and the Undertaker's brother uses his size to control Neidhart. Both monsters double team Neidhart. They work over Jim and referee Earl Hebner disqualifies Mankind and Kane. They toss Neidhart to the floor and turn their attention to Hart. Bret tries to fight off both men, but he is on trouble. Suddenly, the Undertaker hits the ring. He chases Mankind and Kane from the rong. He takes the mic.
Undertaker, "Bret Hart, I want you to make it to the 'Royal Rumble' in one piece. I want you 100%. I want to be the man who destroys you, and then Paul Bearer, I'll turn my attention to you! Rest in Peace!"
Winners-Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart (Disqualification)
JR and the King close the show.
Ros, "King, the Undertaker looks like he's ready. Bret Hart may be on trouble."
Lawler, "So is Paul Bearer, I think."
Ross, "We have one more show before the 'Royal Rumble', and we have a lot of questions. We also have a great main event next week. Brian Pillman takes on Ken Shamrock."
Lawler, "'The World's Most Dangerous Man' vs. 'The Loose Cannon'. That will be great."
