KICK ASS WRESTLING
Brought to you by:
UPN's WLMT-TV Channel 30
From:
The New Daisy Theater
1.26.1997
Sunday, 1 Am
Memphis, Tennessee
With the end of the music, we find a yawning Corey Maclin in a very loud and somewhat darkened New Daisy Theater. Not exactly what the Memphis Wrestling fan is used to.
Corey Maclin: Good morning rasslin' fans and welcome to ... Kick ... uhm ... KAW, coming to this very early morning from the New Daisy Theater. It is so loud up in here, I can hardly hear myself think. I am your host, Corey Maclin ...
Maclin is interrupted by Jamie Dundee and Kevin Christian.
Jamie Dundee: Corey Maclin, say it with me ... The Kick [BLEEP] Icons are in the house!
Corey Maclin: Come on now, Jamie ...
Jamie Dundee: Say it with me, Corey ... The Kick [BLEEP] Icons have come to Kick [BLEEP] Wrestling! Now, what would a wrestling promotion out of Memphis, Tennessee be without two of the biggest names involved? I'll tell you what it is ... It's nothin'. With the Kick [BLEEP] Icons, you got a Dundee and a Lawler! Tell'em Kevin!
Kevin Lawler: That's right Corey. You know it, the fans here know it, everyone in Memphis knows it ... Kevin Lawler is ready to stand side by side, shoulder to shoulder with a Dundee to take names and numbers.
Corey Maclin: Come on now, Kevin ...
Jamie Dundee: Now, I don't know what you're doing out here at 1 in the morning but Kev and I are here to kick some [BLEEP] and party!
Corey Maclin: It will be tough in church in the morning ...
Jamie Dundee: Then step back Corey and let the Kick [BLEEP] Icons show you and the rest of Kick [BLEEP] Wrestling how it is done!
Dundee and Lawler do the Fargo Strut out of there, leaving Corey Maclin, yawning once again and shaking his head. Once that is over, Maclin throws it to a commercial break.

We come back to a nervous looking Maclin surrounded by loud and rowdy drunk and semi-drunk fans. Mr. Marble Mouth sends it to the ring.
Wild Bill Wiles versus The Blue Mean w/Blue Boy.
A decent hand in the young Wiles opens the show by drawing the weird Blue Meanie who wants to start things off with a Dance-Off. Wiles obliges but is booed for his very stiff two left-footed effort but it turns to cheers as Meanie gets out there and shows him how it is done. Not liking that, Wiles lets him have it between the eyes. Wiles turns away tapping his head as if to tell everyone that he's smart before turning right into a Meanie dropkick. Before a couple of corner splashes, Meanie executes a little "Stooge Fu" on his opponent that gets a Meanie chant going. Meanie plays to the crowd, doing the Hogan before an Irish whip and Wiles takes a big boot to the mush. There's the leg drop and and the Blue Meanie covers for the 1! 2! 3!
The Blue Boy boots Wiles out of the ring and the Meanie starts dancing for the fans as Maclin sends it to another commercial break.

We come back to Maclin who has been joined by the KAW Tag Team Champions, Todd Morton and Jackie Fulton, each with a tag strap over their shoulders.
Corey Maclin: Todd, Jackie, first let me congratulate you on your victory with win the tag titles. Todd, it was a long uphill struggle for you. Jackie gets injured by your opponents which led to a long list of partners, who were in turn targeted for injury. Yet, with each setback, with each loss, rather than give up, you pushed forward.
Todd Morton: Corey, let me tell you, it was tough. To lose a partner like Jackie when the two of us clicked so well together from day one ... it was devastating but when you come from a wrestling family, a successful one at that, in cousin Ricky and uncle Paul, you push forward no matter what. Jackie, from a similar family situation, understands completely so while I continued wrestling with several different partners to chip away at the tag champs, Jackie did everything he could to get back into the ring and it paid off because here we are ... after all the blood, sweat and tears, I was ... we were able to take the belts away.
Corey Maclin: Anything to add, Jackie?
Jackie Fulton: Todd said it all and deserves a lot of credit because he pushed forward and took a beating until I was able to come back from my injury.
Todd Morton: (holding his title belt up) This means everything and I plan to hold on to this for a very long, long time!
Corey Maclin: Alright, Good luck tonight gentlemen in your match against the YellowJackets!
KAW Tag Team Title Match: Todd Morton & Jackie Fulton (C) versus The YellowJackets.
The tag champs come out fired up and work over the smaller of the two masked men. Several quick tags and a double team move or two as the champs isolate their opponent leads into a commercial break.

We return to the match and the fans are chanting for the YellowJackets? WTF!?! Todd Morton is looking into the crowd and starts jawing with them, allowing his opponent to escape. Jackie tries to get Todd's had back in the match and the other YellowJacket comes in with other plans. Several right hands and Todd Morton is reeling. Here comes Jackie and down he goes with a big right hand! Both YellowJackets in the ring and Todd Morton is whipped into the far ropes and on the return pushed up into the air before he flapjacks down on the mat. Fulton pulls Morton to the outside to regroup and a YellowJacket double baseball slide! Down go the champions. Lenient referee Al Hall steps back as the battle continues on the outside with Fulton being dropped across the metal ring barrier. He's rolling around on the floor holding his throat. Todd is rolled back into the ring and after being whipped across the ring, takes both YellowJackets down with a flying clothesline. Morton makes the cover but there's no count as the referee is outside the ring helping Fulton back to his feet. A livid Morton is outside quickly and reprimanding the ref, leading to the masked men once again hitting the outside. A double dropkick puts Morton down before Jackie Fulton is roleld back into the ring. The smaller YellowJacket scoops up Fulton for a body slam while the bigger one, and I use the term loosely, climbs the ropes before coming off with a fist drop from the middle. He hooks the leg and Al Hall slaps out a 3 count!
THE YELLOWJACKETS HAVE WON! THE YELLOWJACKETS HAVE WON! WE HAVE NEW TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!
As referee Al Hall raises their arms, they tear away the masks to reveal ...

... JAMIE DUNDEE AND KEVIN LAWLER! THE YELLOWJACKETS ARE THE KICK ASS ICONS!
We get the instrumental to Molly Hatchett's Flirtin' With Disaster in the background as the camera focuses in on a red headed woman standing in front of the Kick Ass Wrestling banner.
Casey Summers
Casey Summers: I am here with the Blue Meanie and the Blue Boy.
Blue Meanie: Casey, I have only one question for you.
Casey Summers: Wait, it is supposed to be the other way around. I am supposed to ask you the questions.
Blue Meanie: Just one question ... Casey do you dance?
The Blue Meanie starts doing his dance, stopping to get her to dance when she doesn't at first.

Casey is now with the ecstatic NEW Kick Ass Wrestling Tag Team Champions, Jamie Dundee and Kevin Lawler.
Casey Summers: Congratulations on your victory but why the ruse?
Jamie Dundee: Casey Summers, I am going to ignore that because I don't even know what you just said but let me make one thing perfectly clear, the Kick [BLEEP] Icons are here to stay and now, they are the Tag Team Champions! Let's do this, Kevin!
The pair start walking off, doing the Fargo Strut.

The camera finds an angry Todd Morton as he destroys the room he's in, kicking over chairs and knocking over folding tables, sending cups and things flying.
A door opens and a head pops in.
Voice: The ambulance is here. They're taking Jackie ...
Todd Morton pushes past to find Jackie Fulton being wheeled out on a gurney. Shoving one of the persons pushing it aside, Morton points a finger down at the neck brace wearing Jackie Fulton.
Todd Morton: This is all your fault! Everything I did to get those tag belts ... you pissed it off just like that!
Grabbing ahold of the gurney, Morton, dips it over, dumping Fulton on the floor before putting the boots to him! It is chaos and pandemonium as several persons jump in to restrain Todd Morton.

We switch to the backside of the building where a babyfaced young man is pleading with the guy manning the door.
Door Man: I told you once, I told you twice, I told you a thousand times ... I don't care who you are, you ain't gettin' in. Now, run home to your momma before you get hurt.
Brandon Baxter: I keep telling you my good man, my name is Brandon Baxter and I am the Head of Kick [BLEEP] Wrestling! Now, let me through!
Door Man: I'm gonna kick you [BLEEP] in a minute!
The show comes to an end with the door man moving towards Baxter who suddenly gets it that he isn't getting in and runs off.
