Gordon Solie and Buddy Colt open the show with sad news, promoter Eddie Graham passed away this week. Gordon says that later on the program Florida Champion Mike Graham is of course not here and is taking care of the family at this time, Gordon says that everyone’s thoughts and prayers are with Mike and the entire Graham Family at this time. Gordon and Buddy share a few memories of Eddie Graham then ask for a moment of silence and a ten bell salute.
Gordon says that the show must go on and it is what Eddie would have wanted. We are taken to footage from Monday Night:
Dusty stayed in the ring dancing and posing for the fans when Bobby “The Brain” Heenan showed up with his briefcase full of money. Gordon Solie joined Dusty and Heenan in the ring with the microphone. Heenan told Dusty now was the time to decide. Heenan told Dusty to take the money, sign with him, join the Heenan Family and Heenan swears that he will lead Dusty to the NWA World Title this year!! Dusty looks around, the fans are pleading with Dusty not to do it, Dusty is looking hard at the money, he looks back at the fans, but then back at the money and
DUSTY TAKES THE MONEY!!!!!
Heenan throws his hands up in triumph, the crowd is booing, Gordon can’t believe it. Heenan turns his back to Dusty and then DUSTY HITS HEENAN IN THE BACK WITH THE BRIEFCASE!!!!!!
Heenan falls down to the mat!!! Dusty opens the briefcase up, tosses some of the money to the crowd and dumps the rest onto Heenan!!! Dusty isn’t joining the Heenan Family!!!!!
An angry Bobby Heenan runs out. Heenan says they better never show that footage ever again. He says Dusty made him look ridiculous and a man in his position cannot afford to look ridiculous!!! Heenan says that Dusty made the biggest mistake of his life!!! Heenan says if Dusty won’t join him then Heenan will end Dusty’s career!!! Heenan says that on Monday Night he will have a man in the West Palm Beach Auditorium and he is challenging Dusty to face him. Heenan vows that Dusty will pay for what he has done!!!! Gordon says we’ll be back

US TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS THE MIDNITE EXPRESS W/JIM CORNETTE DEFEAT MIKE FEVER & TIMMY TALL TREE
Cornette and The Express join Gordon and Buddy at the desk, Cornette is upset that it’s divide and conquer this Monday Night as Loverboy Dennis is fighting Barry Windham and Beautiful Bobby if fighting Terry Taylor. Cornette says his men are the US Tag Team Champions and should be shown the respect as such and shouldn’t be fighting in a bunch of singles matches. Cornette says that if the Midnites keep getting disrespected like this they may just take the US Tag Titles and leave Florida and never come back.

Barry Windham and Terry Taylor are at the desk. They first send out their condolences to the Graham Family and to Mike Graham. They then talk about this Monday Night and facing the Midnite Express in singles matches, they say they are going to prove without a doubt the can beat the Express and then they are going to take the US Tag Team Titles.
TOM ZENK DEFEATS TYREE PRYDE WITH A BODY BLOCK
Zenk comes over to the desk. He also sends his well wishes and condolences to the Graham Family and says he feels an obligation as the last wrestler Eddie Graham signed to a contract here in Florida. Zenk says he is going to dedicate his career to Eddie Graham’s memory and will try to live to the faith Graham had in him that lead to Zenk getting a contract.

Cpl Kirschner is at the desk with Buddy and Gordon, he gives his condolences to the Graham Family and calls Eddie Graham a great American. They then talk about Kirschner beating “Wild” Bill Ash this past Monday Night. Ash comes out and says that he ain’t done with the Cpl yet!! Ash tells Kirschner to come ready to fight this Monday, and bring a partner, cause Ash is gonna bring one and it’s going to get down and dirty!!! Kirschner agrees to the match.

The former US Tag Team Champions come up to the desk, they say that they know they have to work back into contention and that starts this Monday Night when they face Tojo Yamamoto’s Orient Express. McGraw says that the Orient Express is the first step in the road to getting the titles back, but they aren’t going to stop until the gold is around their waists!

TV MAIN EVENT: THE ASSASSIN DEFEATS THE FALCON IN A BATTLE OF MASKED MEN WITH A LOADED HEADBUTT.
Gordon and Buddy rewatch the replay a couple of times to see where the Assassin loaded his mask, and Gordon says that he thinks a rematch should be held between these two men very soon, and that the referees should be informed to look out for this kind of chicanery. Gordon and Buddy then bring out Southern Champion “The American Dream” Dusty Rhodes. Gordon quickly replays Bobby Heenan’s challenge from earlier on, Dusty accepts Heenan’s challenge and tells Heenan he can bring who ever he wants on Monday Night, Dusty says he’s gonna get funky like a monkey. Dusty says Heenan is dealing in some risky business coming after the Dream. Dusty says that he’ll even put the Southern Title on the line against Heenan’s man. Dusty finishes by telling Heenan to bring it on and whoever the fool is that Heenan got better get ready to get their butts kicked!!!! Gordon says that it promises to be an exciting night on Monday at the West Palm Beach Auditorium. He then signs off with “So long from the Sunshine State!!!”
