Tony: They are facing off here today, less than a week away from teaming with their respective partners against one another at Battle Bowl. And speaking of which, here comes the man who will be Ricky Steamboat’s partner at Battle Bowl ’84, the World’s Heavyweight Champion, “Nature Boy” Ric Flair.
Ric Flair: Speaking of the World’s Champion, haha, I’m just stylin and profiling today, looking as only the World Champion can look. Tony, David, BATTLE BOWL ’84 is just around the corner! The Nature Boy Ric Flair, along with my great partner, Ricky Steamboat, THE DREAM TEAM we are going into Charlotte to take care of business and take care of the Gruesome Twosome. Tully rolls out of the ring and drops to the floor, looking incredibly dazed!!!!! Tully is trying to figure out what to do next when Steamboat follows him out and starts throwing chops!!!!! Tully tries to get away and retreats back into the ring. Steamboat follows him and tries for to scoop slam Tully but Tully slips out and lands behind Steamboat. Tully grabs a waist lock, but Steamboat back elbows him and gets a standing switch and quickly locks in the double chicken wing!!!! Tully is screaming in pain but refuses to give up!!! After several minutes Steamboat drops him to the mat. Steamboat pulls Tully to his feet and hits a vertical suplex, Steamboat floats over for the cover

Tully yanks Steamboat to his feet and whips him hard into the corner, Tully follows Steamboat in and wails on him, Tully then hits a neckbreak on Steamboat, COVER!

Tully pulls Steamboat up by the hair and bodyslams him down!!! Tully then heads to the ropes and begins climbing the turnbuckles. Tully takes too long however and Steamboat meets him just as Tully gets to the top!!! Steamboat fires chops at Tully and then throws him off the top rope to the canvas bellow!!!!! Steamboat drops off the top rope, he measures Tully and as Tully rises to his feet Steamboat hits him with a dropkick that knocks Tully back into the corner!!!! Steamboat climbs the turnbuckle and starts to rain chops down on Tully’s head!!!

Tully whips Steamboat into the ropes and hits a drop toe hold, Tully then grabs Steamboat’s legs and locks in a Boston Crab!!!!! Tully rocks back on the hold, and referee Tommy Young keeps checking in but Steamboat refuses to give up. Finally Tully releases the hold. Steamboat crawls to the ropes and uses them to climb to his feet. Tully unloads punches at Steamboat, three in a row before biting Steamboa and throwing him through the ropes to the concrete floor bellow!!!!! On the floor, Tully pulls Steamboat to his feet and hits a vertical suplex on the floor!! Tully then rolls into the ring, confident Steamboat won’t be able to get back into the ring! Tommy Young begins the count!!!

Steamboat kicks Tully in the cut to double him over!!! Steamboat pulls himself to the second turnbuckle and launches himself off with a sunset flip!!!!

Tully grabs a waist lock, but Steamboat back elbows him and gets a standing switch and quickly locks in the double chicken wing!!!! Tully is screaming in pain but refuses to give up!!! Tully takes too long however and Steamboat meets him just as Tully gets to the top!!! Steamboat fires chops at Tully and then throws him off the top rope to the canvas bellow!!!!! Steamboat drops off the top rope, he measures Tully and as Tully rises to his feet Steamboat hits him with a dropkick that knocks Tully back into the corner!!!! Steamboat climbs the turnbuckle and starts to rain chops down on Tully’s head!!!

Tully whips Steamboat into the ropes and hits a drop toe hold, Tully then grabs Steamboat’s legs and locks in a Boston Crab!!!!! Tully rocks back on the hold, and referee Tommy Young keeps checking in but Steamboat refuses to give up. Finally Tully releases the hold. Steamboat crawls to the ropes and uses them to climb to his feet. Tully unloads punches at Steamboat, three in a row before biting Steamboa and throwing him through the ropes to the concrete floor bellow!!!!! On the floor, Tully pulls Steamboat to his feet and hits a vertical suplex on the floor!! Tully then rolls into the ring, confident Steamboat won’t be able to get back into the ring! Tommy Young begins the count!!!
