Tony Schiavone: That’s right David!!! Tonight the United States Champion The Ragin Bull Manny Fernandez teams with Jay and Mark Youngblood to face the “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff and the NWA World Tag Team Champions Ivan Koloff and Don Kerndole!
David: That’s right Tony…and just think….. only a couple weeks away from Battle Bowl ’84 when The Bull will defend the US Title…and the honor of the United States…against Nikita Koloff and the Youngbloods climb into the cage with Koloff and Kernodle to challenge for the Tag Team Titles!!!! And Tony, he’s here……Ricky Steamboat is here and he is going to answer Tully Blanchard’s challenge! And Tony after what Tully and Wahoo did last week to the World Champion….
Tony: Well they did do a number on the Champion last week David, but Flair is in the building today as well, and I am sure we are going to hear from him!! Plus here today, “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant will be in action and “Macho Man” Randy Savage will be here, plus more news about Battle Bowl ’84 and Starrcade!!! Now let’s go to the ring!!!!

Tony: Alright, the Bulldog gets Sam Houston another win here on World Championship Wrestling, and I have been joined by three men who are hoping to get a win themselves later on, “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff and the NWA World Tag Team Champions Ivan Koloff and Don Kernodle!
Don Kerndole: We aren’t hoping we are gonna win Tony, WE KNOW WE ARE!!!! Youngblood you and Manny Fernandez think you did something in challenging us today, but all you did was seal your fate all that much sooner!!!! Now instead of taking you guys out on Thanksgiving, we gonna do it today and sit back and get turkey on Thanksgiving!!!! HAHAHAHA!!!

Ivan Koloff: Manny Fernandez, Youngbloods, you fooled me, I did not think you had the fortitude to challenge all three of us here to one match, knowing that you would be facing us soon on this Thanksgiving Night. But I could sense in your voice a little quiver last week when you were challenging us, I can tell you are not sure you are making the right decision, and I can tell you, you are not!

This is a Rolex watch, it’s not one of those fake Mickey Mouse watches you wear trying to pretend to be somebody, this is a custom made suit from Michaels in Kansas City, these are snake skin shoes, not like the suit you got off the rack at Kmart or those shoes that I would be embarrassed to even touch!!! See I got all this because I am carrying the 10 pounds of gold, and that signifies I am the best in the professional wrestling world today. And while you are a Champion Tully Blanchard, you are only carrying around a bronze belt, and you won’t be doing that anymore after Ricky Steamboat get’s through with you here next week!!!
David Crockett: Well, that match hasn’t been signed yet, Ricky hasn’t officially accepted Tully Blanchard’s challenge.
Ric Flair: David, you and I both know the kind of a man Ricky Steamboat is, do you really think he will turn the challenge down? Now let me say one more thing, don’t you try and wrap me up, I’m the World Champion I’ll talk as long as I want pal!!! Gruesome Twosome, you can tell everyone how bad you are, you can pump yourselves up and tell the World that you are going to take out Ric Flair and Ricky Steamboat, but on Thanksgiving Night in Charlotte you are going to have to step into the ring and prove it, than at Starrcade 84 Tully Blanchard, ARE YOU LISTENING BLANCHARD?? Brown gets Tully down to the mat and ties him up some, Tully and Brown trade holds on the mat, Denny gets a quick one count after a belly to back suplex. Brown gets Tully into the corner and works him over with open hand chops, but Tully rakes the eyes and answers back with a knee lift. Tully works Brown over, and get a two count after a gutwrench suplex. Brown reverses an irish whip and brings Tully down with a powerslam but Tully gets a shoulder up at two. Brown pulls Tully up and slams him by the corner, Brown climbs to the second turnbuckle and comes off with an elbow drop but Tully moves out of the way and Brown crashes to the mat. Brown is slow to his feet, Tully kicks him in the gut and hits the Slingshot Suplex for the pin and the three count!!!
Wahoo McDaniels comes out and is applauding.
David Crockett: It looks like we are going to be joined by Chief Wahoo McDaniels.
Wahoo McDaniels: David Crockett, I am just coming out here to congratulate a real athlete, a real professional, and the man who will be my partner on Thanksgiving Night in Charlotte, the Television Champion Tully Blanchard. And you can see, just like Tully defeated Denny Brown here tonight, just like he will beat Ricky Steamboat next week, if Steamboat has the guts to accept the challenge laid out by Mr. Blanchard, together we will defeat Flair and Steamboat on Thanksgiving Night in Charlotte.
Tully comes up to David and Wahoo, putting his hand out to shake Wahoo’s hand, he puts his hand out for David, but David doesn’t want to shake his hand.
Tully Blanchard: Refusing to shake my hand huh David? Well maybe you should call up you and your brother’s accountant and see who has helped make 1984 one of the best years financially for Crockett Promotions, and 1985 will be an even better year because I will be the World Champion after I defeat Ric Flair at Starrcade. And Chief did you see him, did you see Flair out here with that bandage on his face? I hope you saw it Ricky Steamboat, and I hope you think extra hard before you come out here later today and accept the match with me next week. And you know David I sat back there and Wahoo and I we got a good laugh out of what Flair had to say, you see Ric Flair we don’t have to come out here and brag about what we have, about the clothes we wear, which my suits come from some of the finest clothing makers in all of Europe, or the Cadillacs we drive, or all the women who are right now waiting for us in the back, unlike you Ric Flair we don’t have to verbalize these things because we don’t have to tell people how great we are, people already know it, they can already see where the real class in professional wrestling is and it’s standing right here, the Awesome Twosome. And Ricky Steamboat, next week, you and me for this Television Title, 20 minute time limit, if you have the intestinal fortitude to take the challenge. I am giving you the chance Ricky Steamboat to become somebody in professional wrestling, what are you going to do?

Tony: OK fans we are back with you here on World Championship Wrestling we have seen some great action so far but later on this program these men, The Youngbloods and the United States Champion “The Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez take on “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff and the NWA World Tag Team Champions Kent Koloff and Don Kernodle!
Jay Youngblood: Tony, my brother and The Bull and I are ready, first we are going to win tonight and then on Thanksgiving in Charlotte, my brother and I are going to climb into the cage and take the NWA World Tag Team Titles from Ivan and that traitor Don Kerndole!
Manny Fernandez: That’s right daddy, it’s gonna be a tune up match tonight! Koloffs!! Kernodle! Tonight you are going down baby, and then on Thanksgiving Night in Charlotte, Battle Bowl 1984, Nikita Koloff, get ready for it, get ready to mix it up with the Bull daddy and get ready to go down for the count. On Thanksgiving Nikita Koloff, we are going to find out just how bad you are daddy!!!

David: Alright, Ricky Steamboat…..the challenge…..the challenge Tully Blanchard made last week……….two weeks ago you almost beat him……..you almost became the TV Champion but the time…….the time limit ran out. Now he wants to face you again and he says he will DOUBLE the time limit!
Ricky Steamboat: That’s right David, and before I address that, I want to address the comments made about me by Mr. Tully Blanchard and Chief Wahoo McDaniels last week, questioning my priorities and my professionalism. Yes, it is true I have several other business ventures outside of the ring but that has in no way distracted me or kept me from being my absolute best in the ring, I have never missed a booking or match, I have never given less than 110% in that ring. I have started things like my gym to make sure I will be able to provide for my family long after I have left the ring.. Now, I want to publicly ACCEPT Mr. Blanchrd’s challenge for the match next week, and I do believe in my abilities, and I do believe that next week I will take the Television Title away from Mr. Blanchard and show him first hand just what kind of professional I am.
David: And then on Thanksgiving….it’s you and the World Champion Ric Flair, teaming up to face Tully and Wahoo!!
Ricky Steamboat: And it’s going to be quite the honor to team with the Champ, and I think we are going to show them just who the REAL Awesome Twosome are.

Thanksgiving Night, I am headed straight to the top, yeah!!! 15 men are going to climb into that ring in Charlotte, North Carolina, but only The Macho Man is going to remain, yeah. Because the cream always rises to the top, yeah. Macho Madness is in full affect and nothing is going to stand in its way. And let me tell you something right now Tony, let me tell the world something right now, I don’t care if it’s Tully Blanchard, if it’s Manny Fernandez or if it’s you Ric Flair, “The Macho Man” feel naked standing out here without a title man, and I don’t want to be naked anymore, yeah. Let me say it, yeah, let me say it out loud, and you better be listening Jim Crockett, yeah, “The Macho Man” Randy Savage wants Championship Gold, yeah. I am the cream of professional wrestling, yeah, I am the best of the best, Ric Flair, you can walk out here in your fancy suits, you can talk about all the things you have, yeah, but when you get back in the ring with “The Macho Man” Randy Savage, I can tell you the thing you will no longer have, yeah, the World Heavyweight Title. Tony: “The Macho Man” is ready for Thanksgiving Night, let’s go to the ring!
Kernodle and Mark lock up but neither can get an advantage and pretty soon the just release the grapple and begin pounding on one another, Kernodle grabs a quick headlock when he starts losing the brawl and falls back into his corner where he tags out to Nikita. Mark pushes Kernodle away and moves to the center of the ring. Nikita points at Manny on the apron yelling he wants The Bull. Mark gladly obliges and tags out. Nikita goes right after The Bull and they slug it out, Nikita whips Manny into the ropes, Manny ducks the sickle and hits a DROPKICK!!!! Nikita doesn’t go down!!! Manny fires off punches backing Nikita into the ropes, he whips Nikita across the ring, Mark jumps back into the ring DOUBLE DROPKICK!!!!!! Nikita crashes down on the mat and The Bull goes for the cover

NIKITA POWERS OUT!!! Manny tags out to Jay, they whip Nikita into the corner but Nikita explodes out and takes both Manny and Jay down with a double clothesline!!!!! Nikita tags out to Ivan who takes over and slams Jay in the center of the ring. Instead of going for the cover Ivan bounces of the ropes and drop a knee across Jay's forehead. Ivan then makes the cover!!

Ivan gets Jay on his feet and tags out to Kernodle, Jay breaks away and tries to get to his corner and make the tag but Kerndole grabs ahold of Jay's tights!!!! Jay keeps fighting it and turns around to fight of Kernodle, but Kernodle rakes Jay’s eyes and then takes him down with a headlock!!!
Tony: David we have to take a break!!! If the match were to end during the break we will show you what happened on instant replay, if not we’ll be right back!!!

David: We’re back and this is a war!!! Don Kerndole has Jay Youngblood down, but Jay isn’t giving up Manny Fernandez and his brother Mark Youngblood are cheering him on and TONY!!!! TONY!!! HE’S GETTING TO HIS FEET!!! HE’S POSSESSED!!!
Jay fights up to his feet, he breaks the headlock but Kernodle catches him with a knee to the midsection!! Kernodle tries to go for a vertical suplex. Jay blocks it and hits a suplex of his own!!!!!! Jay slowly crawls to his corner and make the tag. Manny is in Kerndole is back on his feet and Manny is lighting in to him with right hands. He knocks Kerndole to the ground, Nikita and Ivan both come into the ring drawing in Mark and Jay and we have a brawl on our hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark takes Ivan out, Nikita presses Jay into the air and drops him to the mat!!! Nikita then tries to jump Mark from behind but Manny stops him and is now brawling with Nikita, Kerndole is back on his feet, he jumps Manny from behind!!! He and Nikita send Manny into the ropes and catch him with a double clothesline!!! Kerndole covers, but only gets 2.
Kerndole tags in Ivan. Ivan whips Manny into the corner and gives him a couple of hard shots to the head. He pulls Manny out of the corner and scoops him up, he drops Manny a backbreaker!!! This gets a two count. Ivan then picks Manny up and drops him throat first across the top rope. Ivan tags out to Kerndole. Kerndole comes in and executes a belly to belly suplex on Manny, goes for the cover

Kernodle tags back out to Nikita and whips Manny into the ropes, Nikita comes in and catches Manny in a BEARHUG!!!!!! Manny is trying to fight the bearhug, Nikita is trying to synch it in. Manny breaks the bearhug!!! Manny starts throwing punches, Nikita is throwing punches back!!
David: TONY!!! LOOK AT THESE TWO MEN!!!! THEY ARE GOING BERZERK!! BACK AND FORTH!!!! WHAT INCH WILL THEY GIVE!!!
Ivan jumps into the ring and knees Manny in the back!!!! Nikita tosses Manny to the corner and tags out to Ivan!! Ivan gets Manny to his feet and backs him into their corner. Ivan begins to pound on Manny a bit, Ivan tags out to Kerndole and he comes in with the same game plan, beat up on the United States Champion. Manny is starting to fight back The Bull and Kernodle are trading punches!!! Finally Manny is backing Kerndole up, Ivan jumps back into the ring but Manny flattens him with a punch then slams Kernodle and Ivan’s head’s together!!! Manny then tries to make his way across the ring for the tag. Kernodle is holding on to Manny’s leg while Brazil tries to power thru him. When they get really close to the Youngbloods corner Ivan gets back up and nails Manny to cut off the tag!!! Mark and Jay have had enough and jump into the ring, but Tommy Young stops them, allowing Ivan and Kernodle to double team Manny with a double slam!!! Cover!!!

Kerndole pulls Manny to his feet and sends him into the ropes, Kerndole ducks his head too soon, Manny leapfrogs him and then nails Kernodle with a flying jalapeno!!! Both men are down!!! Both men are crawling to try and make the tag, Kerndole gets to Ivan first, Manny gets to Jay!!! Jay and Ivan start brawling when they meet in the center of the ring!! They are throwing punches!!!! Ivan knees Jay in the midsection!!! He tries to send him for the ride, but Jay reverses!!! Mark jumps into the ring, DOUBLE CHOP ON IVAN!!! JAY COVERS!!!

Brown gets Tully down to the mat and ties him up some, Tully and Brown trade holds on the mat, Denny gets a quick one count after a belly to back suplex. Brown gets Tully into the corner and works him over with open hand chops, but Tully rakes the eyes and answers back with a knee lift. Tully works Brown over, and get a two count after a gutwrench suplex. Brown reverses an irish whip and brings Tully down with a powerslam but Tully gets a shoulder up at two. Brown pulls Tully up and slams him by the corner, Brown climbs to the second turnbuckle and comes off with an elbow drop but Tully moves out of the way and Brown crashes to the mat. Brown is slow to his feet, Tully kicks him in the gut and hits the Slingshot Suplex for the pin and the three count!!!

Kernodle and Mark lock up but neither can get an advantage and pretty soon the just release the grapple and begin pounding on one another, Kernodle grabs a quick headlock when he starts losing the brawl and falls back into his corner where he tags out to Nikita. Mark pushes Kernodle away and moves to the center of the ring. Nikita points at Manny on the apron yelling he wants The Bull. Mark gladly obliges and tags out. Nikita goes right after The Bull and they slug it out, Nikita whips Manny into the ropes, Manny ducks the sickle and hits a DROPKICK!!!! Nikita doesn’t go down!!! Manny fires off punches backing Nikita into the ropes, he whips Nikita across the ring, Mark jumps back into the ring DOUBLE DROPKICK!!!!!! Nikita crashes down on the mat and The Bull goes for the cover

Nikita tags out to Ivan who takes over and slams Jay in the center of the ring. Instead of going for the cover Ivan bounces of the ropes and drop a knee across Jay's forehead. Ivan then makes the cover!!

Jay fights up to his feet, he breaks the headlock but Kernodle catches him with a knee to the midsection!! Kernodle tries to go for a vertical suplex. Jay blocks it and hits a suplex of his own!!!!!! Jay slowly crawls to his corner and make the tag. Manny is in Kerndole is back on his feet and Manny is lighting in to him with right hands. He knocks Kerndole to the ground, Nikita and Ivan both come into the ring drawing in Mark and Jay and we have a brawl on our hands!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Mark takes Ivan out, Nikita presses Jay into the air and drops him to the mat!!! Nikita then tries to jump Mark from behind but Manny stops him and is now brawling with Nikita, Kerndole is back on his feet, he jumps Manny from behind!!! He and Nikita send Manny into the ropes and catch him with a double clothesline!!! Kerndole covers, but only gets 2.
Kerndole tags in Ivan. Ivan whips Manny into the corner and gives him a couple of hard shots to the head. He pulls Manny out of the corner and scoops him up, he drops Manny a backbreaker!!! This gets a two count. Ivan then picks Manny up and drops him throat first across the top rope. Ivan tags out to Kerndole. Kerndole comes in and executes a belly to belly suplex on Manny, goes for the cover

Kernodle tags back out to Nikita and whips Manny into the ropes, Nikita comes in and catches Manny in a BEARHUG!!!!!! Manny is trying to fight the bearhug, Nikita is trying to synch it in. Manny breaks the bearhug!!! Manny starts throwing punches, Nikita is throwing punches back!!
David: TONY!!! LOOK AT THESE TWO MEN!!!! THEY ARE GOING BERZERK!! BACK AND FORTH!!!! WHAT INCH WILL THEY GIVE!!!
Ivan jumps into the ring and knees Manny in the back!!!! Nikita tosses Manny to the corner and tags out to Ivan!! Ivan gets Manny to his feet and backs him into their corner. Ivan begins to pound on Manny a bit, Ivan tags out to Kerndole and he comes in with the same game plan, beat up on the United States Champion. Manny is starting to fight back The Bull and Kernodle are trading punches!!! Finally Manny is backing Kerndole up, Ivan jumps back into the ring but Manny flattens him with a punch then slams Kernodle and Ivan’s head’s together!!! Manny then tries to make his way across the ring for the tag. Kernodle is holding on to Manny’s leg while Brazil tries to power thru him. When they get really close to the Youngbloods corner Ivan gets back up and nails Manny to cut off the tag!!! Mark and Jay have had enough and jump into the ring, but Tommy Young stops them, allowing Ivan and Kernodle to double team Manny with a double slam!!! Cover!!!
