JR and the King open the program.
Ross, “Welcome to Cleveland, OH and Monday Night RAW! King, what is going on with the Wolf Pac and Degeneration X, or better yet, what is Degeneration X?”
Lawler, “I don’t know JR, but Shawn Michaels, HHH and Chyna are in the ring.”
Michaels has the mic.
Michaels, “Hello everybody! The ‘Showstopper’ is here along with the rest of ‘Degeneration X’! Everybody wants to know, what happened. This is business. The ‘Heartbreak Kid’ doesn’t help anyone else win titles, people help me! And these two will help me, but that’s not all. Look at this.”
The Road Dogg and Billy Gunn come to the ring. Michaels hands the mic to the Road Dogg.
RD, “That’s right, the ‘New Age Outlaws’ are here and part of ‘Degeneration X’! Now get us come competition!”
The Godwinns hit the ring and the match is on.

The Godwinns vs. The New Age Outlaws
The hog farmers are big and angry They pound away at the Outlaws. Road Dogg takes the early punishment from Henry. Billy Gunn tags in and he uses his athletic ability to take over. Phineas tags in and fares no better. Gunn uses the fameasser to win the match.

Bradshaw vs. Bob Holly
The big Texan takes on the tough guy from Alabama. This is a hard hitting affair. Holly likes the size, but not the effort., He takes the fight to Bradshaw, but the Texan is too much. He lands the big clothesline for the win.

Todd Pettengill is with the Wolf Pac, Diesel,. Razor Ramon and X Pac.
Pettengill, “Gentlemen, Shawn Michaels says wrestling is a business and he is taking care of himself by breaking up the Wolf Pac.”
Diesel, “Shawn and I were friends for a long time. We traveled together and wrestled together. He’s thrown that away. I’m a big boy, I can take care of myself. I’m not going to cry about it, I’m going to get even! I’ve got Razor and X Pac, true friends, and Shawn, every waking moment of my life is focused on revenge! You will pay and it starts in Los Angeles!”
Pettengill, “We can announce that there will be a six man tag team match at the ‘Royal Rumble’, the Wolf Pac vs. Degeneration X. On one side, Diesel, Razor Ramon and X Pac, on the other, Shawn Michaels and the New Age Outlaws. This is a match born of revenge and hatred.”
Ramon, “Shawn, the’ Bad Guy’ is standing beside Diesel and we are coming for revenge!”

Diesel vs. Marty Jannetty
Diesel takes the mic from Howard Finkel.
Diesel, “Jannetty, you spent a lot of time with Shawn and he betrayed you too. That means we have a lot in common, but if you think I’m taking it easy on you, you are dead wrong!”
Diesel attacks Jannetty and seems to be taking out his anger on the former Rocker. Jannetty fights back, but he is no match for “Big Daddy Cool”. Diesel ends it with jackknife powerbomb.

Razor Ramon vs. Paul Roma
"The Bad Guy" takes on the former member of the Four Horseman. Roma is no match for Razor. Ramon works him over and finishes things with the razor's edge.

Pettengill, "Welcome to the 'Royal Rumble' control center. We have more big news for you tonight. Let's run down what we know so far,
For the WWF Title, Bret Hart defends against the Undertaker
For the WWF Tag Team Titles, Owen Hart and the British Bulldog defend against the Road Warriors
The Intercontinental Title and the European Title will be unified, 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin meets Hunter Hearst Helmsley with Chyna
And on a match just announced tonight, it's Wolf Pac vs. Degeneration X, Diesel,,Scott Hall and X Pac vs. the New Age Outlaws and Shawn Michaels
Then we have the 'Royal Rumble' match itself. Last week, Vince MCMahon, the owner of the WWF, announced that Steve Austin had draw position number one in the Rumble, and a mystery wrestler will be number thirty. Now we have no information about other numbers, but we do have some more names to announce. Here goes,
The Wolf Pac, Diesel, Razor Ramon and X Pac
Degeneration X, Shawn Michaels, HHH and the New Age Outlaws
The Nation, Ahmed Johnson, Mark Henry, Savio Vega and Kama
Rocky Maivia will be there. Will he be a member of the Nation. We will know later tonight.
So we know about a third of the entrants. Hopefully, we will have more next week."

The Undertaker vs. Flash Funk
Funk and the Funkettes wait in the ring. We see,
The Undertaker moves slowly to the ring. Funk is sharp and uses his speed. He controls the early moments of the match. The Undertaker is patient and methodical. Things turn his way and he tombstones Funk for the win.
Winner-The Undertaker

Little Guido vs. "Marvelous" Marc Mero w/Sable
This a fast paced match. Guido uses his mat wrestling and Mero uses fisticuffs. The match is very even. Sable cheers on Mero and it seems to help. He drops Guido and covers him for the win.

Rocky Maivia is with Todd Pettengill.
Pettengill, “With me is Rocky Maivia. Rocky, tonight, you meet Savio Vega. If he beats you, you must join the ‘Nation of Domination’. Are you ready?”
Maivia, “Look at me, Todd Pettengill, do I look like I need people to help me? Don’t answer that, no I don’t! I don’t need Teddy Long, or Savio Vega, or Mark Henry. I am Rocky Maivia and I am the hottest property in the sport. I am on my way to the top and I don’t need hangers on. I am Rocky Maivia!”
Pettengill, “Rocky Maivia takes on Savio Vega when we come back.

Rocky Maivia vs. Savio Vega w/Nation of Domination
Rocky Maivia comes to the ring. Savio Vega has the entire Nation at ringside. The bell rings and they lock up. Rocky looks very good and Savio is frustrated. He takes to the floor and confers with Teddy Long. Referee Earl Hebner orders him back to the ring. Vega returns and the match continues. Things continue to go Rocky’s way. Vega puts up a good fight, but Maivia wins with the rock bottom. The Nation enters the ring. Maivia could be in trouble. Maivia helps Vega to his feet and shakes his hand and then hits another rock bottom! Long embraces Maivia! What is going on? Long takes the mic from Howard Finkle.
Long, “The ‘Nation’ just got better! Rocky, you came to your senses! We don’t need losers like Vega. We want winners like you!”
Long hands the mic to Maivia.
Maivia, “Rocky Maivia is in the ‘Nation”! People like Savio Vega are like all you losers, you are in the presence of greatness!”
Long embraces Maivia, and Maivia rock bottoms him!
Maivia, “I didn’t come to the Nation to follow Teddy Long, I came here to be the leader! ‘The Rock’, and that’s what you call me now, is the leader of the ‘Nation’!”

Ross, “King, ‘The Rock’ is here and he’s in charge of the ‘Nation of Domination’!”
Lawler, “JR. you blink around here and something changes!”
Ross, “King, we are two weeks away from the ‘Royal Rumble’ and there is so much going on. Next week, we will be in Chicago and listen to our main event, Bret Hart and Jim Neidhart, the old ‘Hart Foundation’, take on Paul Bearer’s team of Kane and Mankind!”
Lawler, “Bret Hart may not make it to the ‘Royal Rumble’!”
