We are on the road to Starrcade 84, and the first stop along that road is in Charlotte on Thanksgiving Night! Already signed for that card, being called Battle Bowl 84, is a World Tag Team Title match as Ivan Koloff and Don Kerndole defend against the Youngblood Brothers inside a Steel Cage!! The United States Title will be on the line when the “Ragin Bull” Manny Fernandez puts the title up against the man he challenged to face him, “The Russian Nightmare” Nikita Koloff!! Also Paul Jones will manage Greg “The Hammer” Valentine as Valentine attempts to cash in on the bounty Jones has placed on “The Boogie Woogie Man” Jimmy Valiant’ s head!!! David is incredibly excited to also let us know that a 15 Man over the top rope Battle Royal has also been announced! David runs down some of the names that have signed up for the battle royal, “Macho Man” Randy Savage, “Gorgeous” Jimmy Garvin, Sam Houston, the legendary Johnny Weaver, Bugsy McGraw, “Downtown” Denny Brown, “Lord” Jonathan Boyd, Rip Morgan, Black Bart, Sam Houston, and several other names will sure to join them in the next two weeks!

Tony: I have been joined by the Television Champion, and the man who will challenge Ric Flair for the NWA World Title at Starcade 84, Tully Blanchard.
Tully Blanchard: While I appreciate the introduction Tony, I am not out here to waste time or mince words, so let’s cut right to the chase, shall we? You see last week, I defended my Television Title against Ricky Steamboat, and try as he might, Mr. Steamboat just couldn’t get the job done. When the bell sounded and the match was over, I was still the Television Champion. Only, all I have heard, morning, noon and night for the past week Tony is that I got lucky. That somehow I was saved by the bell, that Ricky Steamboat had my number. Now Tony, I am a professional athlete and as such I am keenly aware at all times of my surroundings, so I knew quite well that the time limit was coming close to expiring and the reason I didn’t expend and extra energy to kick out at the end of that match was because I knew that it would be pointless, the bell was going to ring and the match was going to be ruled a draw.
But still, I keep hearing people tell me that Ricky Steamboat should be the Television Champion, and Tony, as a man who is very proud of what he has accomplished and what I am going to accomplish on Christmas Night at Starrcade 84 when I become the next World Champion, I cannot continue to listen to this, so Ricky Steamboat, I have a challenge for YOU.
I want you, here on this program, for the world to see, I want you in another match. And yes I will put the Television Title on the line, but not only that, I will DOUBLE THE TIME LIMIT! That’s right, 20 minutes!! 20 Minutes for you to try and prove to ME that you have what it takes to defeat Tully Blanchard. Now, I know Mr. Steamboat isn’t on the program today, he is back in Charlotte dealing with some business for his gym, so I am not expecting an answer right away, I can wait until next week. But you see Tony, that right there illustrates one of the reasons Mr. Steamboat wasn’t able to take the Television Title from me last week, and won’t be able to do it when we meet again, it’s because his attention is divided! I am here, week in and week out, I eat, live and breathe wrestling, I don’t have a side business, I don’t have a wife at home asking me when I am coming back, I have nothing to distract me and that is why I am going to retain the Television Title, and it is why I am going to become the World Champion at Starrcade. Now I see my business associate, Chief Wahoo McDaniels is in the ring for his match, and I think I’ll stick around to watch it.

Tully Blanchard: You see that? Now that is what a real wrestler looks like, that’s what a man DEDICATED to his craft looks like!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: Now that is fine praise coming from a man of the stature of Tully Blanchard. And while I was standing in the ring listening to what Mr. Blanchard had to say, I found myself in complete agreement. It is that dedication to this sport that separates men like myself and Mr. Blanchard from men like Ricky Steamboat. You don’t see either of us taking a week off to deal with things on the home front, you don’t see either of us worried about other business ventures, no, all you see is the two of us, each and every week, coming out here and showing why we are the best in the World today. And that’s why Ricky Steamboat couldn’t beat Tully Blanchard last week, and it’s why he won’t beat me at Starrcade, no matter what stipulation they put on the match.

Ric Flair: I don’t know who you are calling stupid pal, but I did call THE GRUESOME TWOSOME out for a match, so what do you say? Do ya got the guts? Huh? WOOOOOOOOOO
Wahoo McDaniels: I don’t think you will ever find anyone who would question our guts!! You and Ricky Steamboat want us on Thanksgiving? Well that’ll be just fine, won’t it Tully.
Tully Blanchard: That it will, and you know The Champs right, WHY WAIT?
With that Tully and Wahoo attack Flair!!!! David and Tony bail!!!! Flair tries to fight them off but fails as they double team him to knock him down!!!! Tully then starts RUBBING FLAIR’S FACE ACROSS THE CONCRETE FLOOR!!!! Referees and undercard wrestlers run out of the back to stop the assault, David yells for us to take a break and the camera tries not to show the damage down to Flair’s face!!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: That’s right, and Ricky Steamboat, if you are back in Charlotte, watching at home, take a good look at what we did to Ric Flair, and think twice about coming to the ring as his partner at Battle Bowl ’84, cause if you do, you might not make it to our match at Starrcade. I said it last week, I’ll say it again this week, Ricky Steamboat, you won’t be wrestling in 1985!!! And you know, last week I also heard what the Youngbloods had to say, and they better just deal with Koloff and Kernodle, and not worry about me, because if they keep talking about me I may have to come find them and teach them a lesson, and that is not something they will want.

Jimmy Garvin: Before we go any further Tony Schiavone, before we talk about Thanksgiving and how Gorgeous J is going to throw all those other guys out of the ring, let’s talk about what Chief Wahoo McDaniels and the TV Champion himself Tully Blanchard did out here just a second ago. Could you believe it? I mean Squeeze could you believe what they did? They messed up this floor for Ric Flair’s UGLY face!!!! And did you see what he looked like afterward? Well I hope you didn’t Squeeze, I hope you didn’t have to look at that, I mean he already kinda looked like Quasimodo but now, now he’s the ugliest thing I have ever seen, even uglier than some of these fans out here if you can believe THAT!!! Now let’s talk about Battle Bowl 84, the Battle Royal on Thanksgiving Night and the champagne is already on ice man, there is gonna be a big party in Charlotte, well I mean as big as a party as you can have in a place like Charlotte, cause Gorgeous J is gonna win that Battle Royal, I mean this is gonna be a piece of cake man. Ivan Koloff: I say it is a very foolish challenge Tony Schiavone, very foolish, but not surprising coming from uneducated Americans such as Manny Fernandez and these Youngblood Brothers. Yes, Comrade Don Kernodle, nephew Nikita and I will face these three men here on television for the world to see next week.

SAM HOUSTON VS. “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE W/FRANK DUSEK
Houston has been riding high after coming oh so close to taking the TV Title off Tully Blanchard, Savage made his debut at the US Title Tournament and took NWA World Champion Ric Flair to his limit. Houston throws everything he has at Savage who brawls like a man possessed. Savage dumps Houston out through the ropes and comes crashing down on him from the top rope with a double ax handle on the floor below. Savage beats Houston around the ring but the scrappy Houston fights back, he gets a two count after a dropkick followed by a belly to back suplex, but gets caught with a knees to the gut when he bounces off the ropes and attempts a splash. Savage then finishes Houston off after a great battle with an elbow drop off the top rope!!!
David: A big win for “The Macho Man” but Sam Houston has nothing to be ashamed of, he came close to winning that match!
Tony: That’s true David. Fans we are out of time, join us here next week on the Superstation wh---
HERE COMES RIC FLAIR!!!!
Flair, with a big bandage on his face and a steel chair in his hand grabs the microphone away from Tony.

Flair throws down the microphone and runs to the ring!!! He rolls in with chair in hand!!!! He is motioning to the back and here comes Tully and Wahoo!!! They make their way to ringside, Flair is waiting!!! Tully starts to climb in and Flair hits the ropes with the chair!!! Tony yells we are out of time the credits roll as Tully and Wahoo roll into the ring and Flair starts swinging and the show goes off the air!!!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: I don’t think you will ever find anyone who would question our guts!! You and Ricky Steamboat want us on Thanksgiving? Well that’ll be just fine, won’t it Tully.
Tully Blanchard: That it will, and you know The Champs right, WHY WAIT?
With that Tully and Wahoo attack Flair!!!! David and Tony bail!!!! Flair tries to fight them off but fails as they double team him to knock him down!!!! Tully then starts RUBBING FLAIR’S FACE ACROSS THE CONCRETE FLOOR!!!! Referees and undercard wrestlers run out of the back to stop the assault, David yells for us to take a break and the camera tries not to show the damage down to Flair’s face!!!!

Wahoo McDaniels: That’s right, and Ricky Steamboat, if you are back in Charlotte, watching at home, take a good look at what we did to Ric Flair, and think twice about coming to the ring as his partner at Battle Bowl ’84, cause if you do, you might not make it to our match at Starrcade. I said it last week, I’ll say it again this week, Ricky Steamboat, you won’t be wrestling in 1985!!! And you know, last week I also heard what the Youngbloods had to say, and they better just deal with Koloff and Kernodle, and not worry about me, because if they keep talking about me I may have to come find them and teach them a lesson, and that is not something they will want.

Jimmy Garvin: Before we go any further Tony Schiavone, before we talk about Thanksgiving and how Gorgeous J is going to throw all those other guys out of the ring, let’s talk about what Chief Wahoo McDaniels and the TV Champion himself Tully Blanchard did out here just a second ago. Could you believe it? I mean Squeeze could you believe what they did? They messed up this floor for Ric Flair’s UGLY face!!!! And did you see what he looked like afterward? Well I hope you didn’t Squeeze, I hope you didn’t have to look at that, I mean he already kinda looked like Quasimodo but now, now he’s the ugliest thing I have ever seen, even uglier than some of these fans out here if you can believe THAT!!! Now let’s talk about Battle Bowl 84, the Battle Royal on Thanksgiving Night and the champagne is already on ice man, there is gonna be a big party in Charlotte, well I mean as big as a party as you can have in a place like Charlotte, cause Gorgeous J is gonna win that Battle Royal, I mean this is gonna be a piece of cake man. I mean, are we gonna have a party or are we gonna have a party squeeze? I mean even all these stupid people here can tell ya, I’m the best wrestler in the world, I am the best looking man in the world, and IT’S NOT MY FAULT that the NWA has hung their star with a LOSER like Ric Flair and not with Gorgeous J, but I am going to tell you this right now man, Thanksgiving Night, it’s just the beginning, because I am going into Charlotte to make a statement, I am going into Charlotte to prove that I am everything that I say that I am, and then they won’t be able to hold me off Starrcade anymore, they won’t be able to hold Jimmy Garvin down, and 1985 is going to be the year of Gorgeous Jimmy Garvin, come on Squeeze let’s get out of here!!!

Ivan Koloff: I say it is a very foolish challenge Tony Schiavone, very foolish, but not surprising coming from uneducated Americans such as Manny Fernandez and these Youngblood Brothers. Yes, Comrade Don Kernodle, nephew Nikita and I will face these three men here on television for the world to see next week.
Tony: Alright fans, there you have it, next week, Nikita Koloff will team with NWA World Tag Team Champion Ivan Koloff and Don Kerndole to take on the Youngbloods and United States Champion Manny Fernandez!!! Let's go to the ring!
SAM HOUSTON VS. “MACHO MAN” RANDY SAVAGE W/FRANK DUSEK
Houston has been riding high after coming oh so close to taking the TV Title off Tully Blanchard, Savage made his debut at the US Title Tournament and took NWA World Champion Ric Flair to his limit. Houston throws everything he has at Savage who brawls like a man possessed. Savage dumps Houston out through the ropes and comes crashing down on him from the top rope with a double ax handle on the floor below. Savage beats Houston around the ring but the scrappy Houston fights back, he gets a two count after a dropkick followed by a belly to back suplex, but gets caught with a knees to the gut when he bounces off the ropes and attempts a splash. Savage then finishes Houston off after a great battle with an elbow drop off the top rope!!!
David: A big win for “The Macho Man” but Sam Houston has nothing to be ashamed of, he came close to winning that match!
Tony: That’s true David. Fans we are out of time, join us here next week on the Superstation wh---
HERE COMES RIC FLAIR!!!!
Flair, with a big bandage on his face and a steel chair in his hand grabs the microphone away from Tony.
Ric Flair: BLANCHARD!!! MCDANIELS!!! YOU THINK THAT’S ALL IT TAKES TO PUT ME OUT!!! YOU TWO PUNKS DON’T GOT WHAT IT TAKE TO PUT ME OUT!!! SO COME ON!!! COME ON OUT HERE AND TRY AND FINISH THE JOB!!!!
Flair throws down the microphone and runs to the ring!!! He rolls in with chair in hand!!!! He is motioning to the back and here comes Tully and Wahoo!!! They make their way to ringside, Flair is waiting!!! Tully starts to climb in and Flair hits the ropes with the chair!!! Tony yells we are out of time the credits roll as Tully and Wahoo roll into the ring and Flair starts swinging and the show goes off the air!!!!!
