Ricky Steamboat: Thank you for having me out here David, and let me say that I am honored to be getting this chance at the Television Title later on the program, the TV Title is a belt I have held in the past and I would very much like to hold it again, and an added bonus is the fact that I would beat Tully Blanchard in order to win the title, and as everyone knows there is quite a bit of bad blood there.

Ricky Steamboat: That’s right David, I am not going to stand out here and rehash all that has gone on between Wahoo and I, that would be pointless, but this animosity, this war between us has reached it boiling point and has begun to cost both of us too much professionally. It’s what caused us both to be eliminated from the United States Title Tournament and I feel if it isn’t resolved soon, than neither of us will be able to accomplish what we have set out to do in professional wrestling. So I am happy that the match was signed and I am looking forward to hear what added stipulation the match is given.
David Crockett: But Ricky…..Tully and Wahoo……they are business partners….they have double teamed you before, they have cost you matches before, aren’t you worried about Wahoo getting involved in your match later on?
Ricky Steamboat: You know David I am actually pretty sure that Wahoo will try and get involved, but while Tully and Wahoo are business partners, I have something even better, I have FRIENDS!!! We can’t believe the kind of person Wahoo has become. We can tell you Wahoo’s wrong, Ricky Steamboat WILL be wrestling in 1985. But Wahoo……if you keep on the path you are on now, well we think it’s gonna be YOU who will be OUT OF WRESTLING IN 1985!!!

Slow start as Tully keeps pulling out of lock ups and complaining of hair pulls and such. Finally Tully locks up, they jocky for position, Steamboat arm drags Tully to the mat and works the arm, Tully fights to his feet and breaks the armbar, he brings Steamboat down to the mat with a headlock. Tully works the headlock till Steamboat fights to his feet, breaks the hold and runs the ropes, he ducks a clothesline, Tully leapfrogs Steamboat, then ducks his head for a backdrop but instead takes a big knee lift!!! Steamboat covers!!!

Steamboat doesn’t let up, chopping Tully as soon as he is on his feet, Steamboat backs Tully into the corner, climbs the turnbuckle and rains 10 punches down on his head while the crowd counts along!!! Steamboat jumps off, Tully staggers out of the corner, Steamboat catches him flush in the mush with a dropkick!! Tully spirals backward and falls through the rope to the outside of the ring!!!!
Tully asks for a time out, but Tommy Young isn’t going for it, Tully climbs back on the apron and Steamboat is waiting for him!!! Steamboat suplexes Tully back into the ring!!!! Steamboat runs the ropes and goes for a splash but Tully gets his knees up!!!!! Steamboat crashes right onto Tully’s knees!!!! Tully gets to his feet and kicks Steamboat hard in the ribs!!!! Tully continues to viciously stomp on Steamboat’s ribs!!! Tully breaks out a WOOOOOOOOO and then a strut to mock his Starrcade opponent!!!!
