*Lance Russell announced before the show that he will have an update on the condition of Jerry “The King” Lawler on Championship Wrestling ’85 on Saturday.

1) The Dream Machine wrestled Tom Zenk to a 10:00 time limit draw.

2) ”Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Stomper Jr. (w/ The Mongolian Stomper) at 8:34 when Gilbert reversed a cross-body attempt into a Hot Shot.

3) The First Family: Rick Rude & Adrian Adonis (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated The Wild-Eyed Southern Boys: Tracy Smothers & Steve Armstrong at 10:35 when Adrian Adonis trapped Steve Armstrong in the Goodnight Irene sleeper. The Moondogs attacked the Southern Boys before the match, leaving them worse for wear.

4) Tommy Rich defeated Adrian Street (w/ Miss Linda) at 12:34 when he connected with the Lou Thesz Press out of nowhere to score the pin.

INTERMISSION

5) King Kong Bundy defeated Playboy Frazier (w/ Jimmy Hart) when he connected with the Avalanche Splash.

6) Southern Tag Team Champions The Rock n’ Roll Express: Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated Dutch Mantell & The Dirty White Boy at 19:24 when Morton connected with a big dropkick on Dutch Mantell. That finish had been preceded by the White Boy accidentally clotheslining Mantell when Ricky Morton moved out of the way.

7) CWA Heavyweight Champion Jake “The Snake” Roberts & One Man Gang defeated ”Superstar” Bill Dundee & Jos LeDuc at 22:11 when Jake Roberts connected with the DDT on Bill Dundee. LeDuc and the Gang brawled around ringside as Dundee set Roberts up for the Bomb’s Away, but he was tripped by Adrian Street. Jake then hit the knee lift and the DDT to steal a win.

Dundee and LeDuc aren't going to fair very well against two members of the Devil's Triangle unless they have someone watching their back, if I were them I would want to know where the hell Tommy Rich was? Rich beats Adrian Street before intermission but doesn't keep an eye on him in the main event? Wildfire must have had just a little too much Wild Turkey!

Mantell can't be happy about DWB costing him the match, the ol' Dirty Dutchman isn't known to keep guys hanging around that can't pull their own weight and it seems DWB is failing in that regard.


You have done a great job at building up this roster and storylines that even with the King out injured the show doesn't miss a beat. Great work!

You are killing it with the MSC shows brother. The Adorable Ravishing Ones pick up a big victory, and should by all rights get a crack at the Rock n Roll Express next week. I love what you're doing with Dutch and DWB. I think that punk kid Anthony just bit the hand that fed him, and he will be a nice bone for the Dutchman to chew on, build himself some momentum, and then be ready to turn himself loose on the rest of the roster after disposing of Anthony.

Rich, LeDuc, and Superstar are a great trio, but as Kimmel pointed out, if they ain't on the same page, they don't stand a chance. You can think whatever you want about the Devil's Triangle, but they ain't stupid. Well two of them ain't. And they're definitely on the same page, heading towards the same goals. Kingfish found that out, and I'm guessing Wildfire, Superstar, and the Lumberjack will be as well.
