After the match these comments from Hacksaw Duggan: “MICHAEL HAYES, Magnum TA isn’t the only one who wants a piece of you, COUNT IN HACKSAW BROTHER, because Michael Hayes you did me wrong at the Super Dome! As for YOU Terry Bamm Bamm Gordy I cant wait to wrap up these fists with tape and smash your ugly face in, and then if the rest of the Freebirds wants some, I’ve got a 2x4 for ya!!!!

RINGSIDE PROMO INTERVIEWS with Joel Watts: “Wrestling fans in Little Rock, a big night of Mid-South action comes to you CHRISTMAS NIGHT, including Magnum TA getting a rematch against THIS man, Michael Hayes!
Michael and all three Freebirds come out, cocky and wearing sunglasses! Gordy’s fists are taped and he shadow boxes through out the interview.
Michael: “WELL WELL well, last week Magnum TA DONE AND CALLED ME A THIEF? Well Magnum let me tall YOU something . . . YER RIGHT! I STOLE THIS BELT RIGHT FROM UNDER YER NOSE, just like ahm gonna steal your woman, ahm gonna steal your car, ahm gonna steal everything you own, and you know why Magnum? Because with Bamm Bamm and Buddy Jack watching mah back, there’s NUTHIN you can do about it, SON! AND DON’T COUNT ON YER FRIENDS, EITHER, because Bamm Bamm here is gonna take ONE PUNCH, BAM! KNOCK HACKSAW DUGGAN OUT, ah know this because BAMM BAMM HERE HAS BEEN TRAINING WITH MUHAMMAD ALI, Sugar Ray Leonard, and he’s the man that made Roberto Duran say NO MAS! And Buddy Jack here keeps the contenders at bay by being TV champion and taking care of business which he will against Jerry Brisco December 25th, the Freebirds are taking WHATEVER TITLES WE WANT, LITTLE ROCK Arkansaw, JACK!
Joel: “The Mid-South Tag Team titles are on the line as my guests at this time ANGELO MOSCA AND KILLER KHAN defend against ANDRE THE GIANT AND ERNIE LADD, the champions represented by THIS man, Ken Mantell!
Mantel: “Keep running your mouth, Michael Hayes, and you’ll find your foot in it!
MICHAEL HAYES CAN BE HEARD YELLING SOMETHING BACK SIDE Stage, but voices of security guards keep him away!
Ken: “Yeah that’s right, Hayes keep bumping them gums, see where it getsya, one thing I will agree with though is that it is a mistake to mess with the Freebirds, and its an EVEN BIGGER mistake to turn your back on the Mantell Corporation!
WAIT! Its Bob Orton! He apparently wasn’t invited to the interview!
Mantell: “The two giants of wrestling, Andre the Giant and Ernie Ladd, take on these men for the Mid South Tag Team titles, well I don’t who the bigger giant dummy is, Andre the Giant for turning down my generous offer, or Ernie Ladd for joining him? Its no matter to me at this point, because you are looking at the two TRUE giants of professional wrestling right here, KING KONG Angelo Mosca at 6’7” and 330 POUNDS, AND the ruthless savage Killer Khan, at 6’9” and 310 pounds, THEN ONLY MAN TO HOSPITALIZE ANDRE THE GIANT, by the way, they can take all the Two Giant Dummies can dish out, and they have the tag team title belts to prove it!
Orton: “Hey, Ken Mantell, let me just say this to Shane Douglas . . . .
Mantell: “I’m not finished yet, Orton. As for YOU Junkyard Dog, how much more is it going to take? Rejected offer after rejected offer. Don’t be a GIANT DUMMY as well, don’t be Andre the Giant and Ernie Ladd, about to get stretchered out and have their careers ended December 25. There’s still time to call off the match with my Bounty Hunter in Little Rock. A lot of speculation as to who this man might be. But Junkyard Dog, if you wait too long, you will find out in Little Rock and you wont be too happy when you see who it is. Sign on the line that is dotted. Become rich like these men. The main event sees Michael Hayes defend the North American Heavyweight title in a rematch against my guest art this time, MAGNUM TA!
Magnum: “You know it has been said that is more blessed to give than to receive on Christmas, well, if that is the case, Magnum TA is gonna be doubly blessed, first Michael Hayes when I punch you out and give you the licking your momma should have given you when you were a little Freebird, and then again when I take BACK what is rightfully mine, and which you wrongfully admitted to stealing, the North American Heavyweight title belt, Michael Hayes, Magnum TA is not only going to shut you down, Im gonna SIT YOU DOWN, Michael Hayes theres gonna be a big lump of coal in your stocking Christmas day, and its in the shape of butt kicking from this man, standing before you, bet on it.
Joel: “The Mid South Tag Team titles are on the line when Angelo Mosca and Killer Khan, managed by Ken Mantell, take on these men, ANDRE THE GIANT AND ERNIE LADD, and guys, Ken Mantell was just out here calling you two ‘giant dummies’. How do you feel about that?
ANDRE PUTS HIS GIANT HAM HAND ON Joel’s shoulder they enter.
Ernie: “Let me tell you something Joel Watts, the only one that’s gonna look like some dummy when Christmas night is over is Ken Mantell, because he gonna be looking like the Dummy that Stole Christmas when me and the Giant take his belts. What’s the matter with Ken Mantell, he sore because I acted like a man and shook this mans hand after he beat me fair and square? Then said no when he wanted me to be some low pay flunkie? I don’t call that being no dummy. I call that being a MAN. Speaking of men, give it to ‘em Giant!
André: “Let me say how proud I am to put aside my differences with this man and to call him my friend. Maybe I am Giant of Pro Wrestling, but there is only one King, and Big Cat, and that Ernie Ladd. And I cannot think of bigger more GIANT Christmas present for me, Ernie and all the people than to win title belts Christmas night in Little Rock. Angelo Mosca, Killer Khan, be ready because the Giant, and King Cat, we are coming for YOU!
Joel: “The Mid South TV title is on the line when Freebird Buddy Roberts defends the title against this man, JERRY BRISCO, and Jerry, its been a tough month for you, I bet things would turn around quickly though with a win over Buddy Roberts in Little Rock.
Jerry: “You know Joel, it took years and years of rivalry and animosity for Ernie and Andre to set aside their differences and form a tag team, well let me tell you, the same goes for the Funk and Brisco families, and it just broke my heart when Junior was taken out and had to go to a hospital after we lost our tag team titles to Angelo Mosca and Killer Khan. Mosca and Khan not only took our titles, but went the extra mile to injure my partner and friend Dory Funk Jr, so you can bet your bottom dollar I will be right there with all the fans rooting for Andre the Giant and Ernie Ladd to win those belts Christmas night.
“But you are right, the only thing better than that would be a big win for the TV title against Buddy Roberts. Michael Hayes, he’s a trash talking BARROOM BRAWLER; TERRY GORDY, HE’S A BIG MAN A POWER WRESTLER. But what I don’t think people realize is that hold for hold, move for move, Buddy Roberts is the technical wrestler of the group, and from that standpoint I’m looking forward to the challenge. It would be a great way for me to turn around my fortune here, and Dory, this one is for you Christmas night.
Joel: “A VERY motivated Jerry Brisco gets a shot at the TV title in Little Rock Christmas night, more Mid-South Wrestling after THESE WORDS!
