The show opens with Kerry Von Erich sitting in the studio with Bill Mercer. Kerry holds the American Heavyweight Title.
Mercer, “Ladies and gentlemen, with me is, the new American Champion, Kerry Von Erich, Kerry, you beat Gino Hernandez in the cage. It was a long time coming, but keeping that title won’t be easy.”
Kerry, “That's right Bill. It took every ounce of strength I had to win this, but I know people are gunning for me.”
Mercer, “Gino Hernandez will want a rematch, and he deserves one. Chris Adams will be coming after you, and tonight, you defend the title against Kamala. That will not be easy.”
Kerry, “Hart’s men will want to get back at me, I know they will. Kamala is a wild man and he won’t be easy to beat, but I’ll defend this against anyone who deserves it. I won’t duck anyone.”
Mercer, “Kerry Von Erich, the new American Heavyweight Champion. He meets Kamala tonight.”

Pvt. Terry Daniels vs. Mike Von Erich
The United States Marine Corps Private debuted on Christmas. He and MIke put on a very good match. They both have their chances until Mike wins with a rollup.
Winner-Mike Von Erich
Kevin Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “Kevin Von Erich is with me. Kevin, it was a good day for the Von Erich family, but Christmas was not that great for you. Thanks to Sunshine, you lost to Chris Adams.”
Kevin, “Sunshine stuck her nose into my business. You had to expect that. Chris Adams couldn't beat me, it took a woman to help him. I want another shot at him, and I’ll make him pay.”
Lowrance, “Chris Adams vs. Kevin Von Erich will be a great match.”

Art Crews vs. Kevin Von Erich
Kevin takes the fight to Crews. The youngster from St. Joseph, MO is game, but he can’t handle Kevin. Von Erich uses the flying bodypress for the win.

Chief Jules Strongbow vs. Dale Veasey
The popular Indian Chief from Pawhuska, OK takes on the tough Alaskan. Veasey is aggressive and hammers away at Strongbow. The Sportatorium crowd gets behind Strongbow and he takes the fight to Veasey. Jules clamps on the Indian deathlock for the win.

General Skandor Akbar is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, "With me is, the leader of 'Devestation Incorporated', General Skandor Akbar. Genetal Akbar, the Long Riders held onto the American Tag Team Titles, but your other men were unable to win the six man titles."
Akbar, "just a matter of time, Lowrance, just a matter of time! All the gold in World Class is coming my way. I am the richest man in the Middle East. Now I want all the wrestling gold!"
Lowrance, "Tonight, Kamala challenges Kerry Von Erich for the American Title."
Akbar, ""Kamala knows nothing of titles, but he knows destruction! He will leave Von Erich in the ring, and the American Title will belong to 'Devastation Incorporated'!"
Lowrance, "Let's go to the ring for the Long Riders."

Non-Title Match
The Long Riders (American Tag Team Champions) w/General Skandor Akbar vs. Juan Reynosa and El Diablo
The Champions are two tough bikers from Duluth, MN. Reynosa and El Diablo could be in trouble. They are. The Irwins take the fight to their opponents. They batter them with kicks and punches. Scott lands a boot the head to Reynosa and pins him.
Winners-The Long Riders
Bill Mercer is seated in the studio.
Mercer, “On Christmas night, Gino Hernandez lost the American Heavyweight Title. One would think this would depress him, but maybe not. I was invited to join Gino, Chris Adams and Sunshine at the opening of new Dallas nightclub, ‘Dallas Vice’. Now my tastes are more like Bob Wills and the ‘Texas Playboys’, but here is the footage.”
We see a crowded nightclub. Strobe lights and neon glow in the background. Throbbing 80's techno-music blares. We see Gino Hernandez with one arm around Sunshine and one around Chris Adams.
Hernandez, “Mercer, come here! Party with us!”
Mercer, “Gino, you lost the American Title last night, it doesn’t look like are too bothered by it.”
Hernandez, “So what? I still hold the Texas Title, so all you inbred Texas wrestling fans, I am your Champion! The ‘Handsome Halfbreed from Highland Park’ is on top of the world! Now Mercer, get out on the dance floor with us!”
Blares on the sound system and Hernandez, Sunshine and Adams pull Mercer onto the dance floor, shockingly, he has no rhythm.

American Heavyweight Championship
Kerry Von Erich (Champion) vs, Kamala w/General Skandor Akbar
Von Erich is stepping into a dangerous situation. Kamala may not understand the titles, but he is one of the most dangerous man in the sport. The bell rings and Kamala attacks the Champion. Kerry is in early trouble. Akbar shouts instructions and Kamala continues the attack. Kerry is in trouble. but he has the heart of a champion. He fires back with rights and lefts. Kamala is in retreat. Kerry continues his assault. The Ugandan Warrior fires back with chops, but they have no effect. Kerry scoop up the giant Kamala and slams him to the mat! Kerry goes for the cover and referee David Manning counts the fall.
Winner-Kerry Von Erich
Bill Mercer closes the show.
Mercer, “Kerry Von Erich slams Kamala! 1985 looks like it is shaping up to be one of the most exciting years in Texas wrestling history. Join us, next week, when our main event will be Kevin and Mike Von Erich will take on the Great Kabuki and Chris Adams.”
