Interviews on this show:
- The Sheephearders yelled about how tonight they are taking the tag team belts from Brett Sawyer & Tom Pritchard. The dogs of war are loose, and it's the end for the pretty boys! Oh tell your mother!
- Billy Jack Haynes discussed his match next week with Rip Oliver for the PNW Heavyweight title, saying that he and Oliver have traded that belt a couple of times now, and everytime he gets it back, Oliver pulls out some dirty trick to win it again. But this time, ole' Billy Jack is winning it for good!
- PNW Champion Rip Oliver w/ Mike Miller by his side said that Billy Jerk Haynes is too stupid to know when to quit. Next week, he's gonna take a beatin' like he ain't never had, and then he won't be able to challenge for this belt again. And tonight, Steve Pardee is gonna feel what it's like to be in the way of a train coming through!
- Coss and Savage remind all the fans to come out to the Portland Sports Arena each and every Friday night for the hottest wrestling action to be found, and you may get to see yourself on tv! Come out and see ALL the matches, as not all of them are shown on tv.
Matches on this show:
- Billy Jack Haynes submitted Johnny Rodz with his full nelson lock in the opener. Rodz had a brief advantage, but Haynes looked good in this tune up for his title bout next week.
- Tag Team Champions Brett Sawyer & Tom Pritchard fought The Sheepherders to a double DQ. The match started out orderly for the first few minutes, but quickly broke down to a four way fight when the Sheeps kept attempting double teams. The four men fought their way to the floor and all around ringside. They finally just battled their way back to the locker room.
- The large Man Mountain Shaw pinned Timothy Flowers with a big splash. Flowers was in the contest for most of it, as he seems to be a little smarter than the mountain man, and used some underhanded tactics to keep some advantage. Shaw's strength won out in the end though.
- The team of The Assassin & Karl Steiner def. Sivi Afi & Cocoa Samoa in a hot contest. Afi & Samoa looked to have it won,but during a four way melee, The Assassin slipped an object in his mask and gave Samoa a headbutt to put him out for the pinfall.
- Ken Patera submitted Akio Sato with a full nelson lock. After the bout, he signed a couple autographs for the ringside fans before heading to the crows nest. He told Coss and Savage it's great to be here in Portland, and he looks forward to locking up with the best here.
- Main Event, 2/3 Falls, Non-Title Bout
Rip Oliver, PNW Champion vs. Steve Pardee
- In the first fall, Pardee was fired up and took it to the champion. Oliver is a tough one though, and held in there. Pardee controlled the action all the way until he made a mistake that Oliver was there to capitalize on. He launched at Oliver with a body press, but Oliver caught him, fell backwards and dropped him throat first on the top rope. He rolled Pardee over and got the pinfall.
- In the second fall, Oliver went to work on Pardee, trying to injure his neck. He got cocky though, and allowed Pardee back into the contest. Pardee was fired up with his second wind and got Oliver rocking. Oliver, in a quick motion, grabbed Pardee by the hair and threw him over the top rope to the floor to break his momentum, thus drawind a DQ in the process.
Before the last fall, Dutch Savage and Don Coss noted that because of what we seen here earlier between Pritchard & Sawyer and The Sheepherders, they'll meet again next week in the 2/3 falls main event to settle things. Savage said to batton down the hatches, those two teams may fight all night next week!
- In the last fall, Oliver jumped Pardee when he was getting back into the ring, and pounded him down before giving him a powerslam. He then hoisted him up and dropped him on his head with a piledriver for the winning pinfall of the deciding fall.
Rip Oliver wins, 2 falls to 1.
After the bout, he started to put the boots to Pardee until Billy Jack Haynes came out to the ring, at which point Oliver slinked out and back to the locker room.
Don Coss and Dutch Savage closed the show, reminding fans to be at the Portland Sports Arena next Friday night to see Rip Oliver defend the PNW title against Billy Jack Haynes, as that match will not be shown on Television! You must be at the arena to catch that one. But what will be on tv in the main event is Tom Pritchard & Brett Sawyer defending the tag team titles once again against The Sheephearders in the 2/3 fall main event!
Dark Matches at the Arena:
- Mr. Ebony def. Grizzly Evans by countout
- Mean Mike Miller pinned Mike Boyette with an elbow drop
- The Batten Twins wrestled Joe Lightfoot & Billy Two Eagles to a 15 minute draw.
