Monday Night Raw Broadcast on the USA Network July 1, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler The Smoking Gunns w/Sunny defeat The Showstoppers when Bart pins Marty after a sidewinder. It is announced during the match that Savio Vega and Konnan have challenged the Smoking Gunns to a match at Canadian Conflict and the Smoking Gunns have accepted WWF Tag Team Champion The British Bulldog w/Owen Hart wrestles to a no contest with Ahmed Johnson w/Kama and Teddy Long when Owen and Kama both jump into the ring for a brawl. Bret Hart on commentary, says he will not get involved in the Undertaker's match with Diesel later tonight. Next week Owen and Bulldog defend the WWF Tag Title against the Nation. Jim Ross interviews Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett about why he attacked "Stone Cold" Steve Austin last week, Jarrett says Austin stole the King of the Ring from him and the WWF Title shot, he challenges Austin to meet him at Canadian Conflict, and if Austin will put his title shot on the line, Jarrett will put the IC Title on the line Rocky Maivia wrestles to a 10 minute draw with European Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna, during the match "Marvelous" Marc Mero and Sable came down to ringside to support Maivia, whom Vince reveals has been working very closely with Maivia recently, next week on Raw HHH and Chyna will team up to meet "Marvelous" Marc Mero and Sable in a mixed gender match. After the match Mero holds Maivia's hand up and celebrates with him. The Undertaker defeats WWF Champion Diesel in a non title match, Undertaker survived interference from Razor Ramon and Xpac, as well as somehow kicking out of the Jackknife Powerbomb. In the end Taker railed back to Tombstone and pin Diesel. After the match Crush attacked and laid the Undertaker out.

Monday Night Raw Broadcast on the USA Network July 8, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler "Marvelous" Marc Mero and Sable defeat European Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Chyna when Mero pins HHH after the TKO. Crush defeats Scott Putski with a Tombstone Piledriver, it is announced that Crush and Undertaker will meet in a Casket Match at Canadian Conflict. Jim Ross interviews "Stone Cold" Steve Austin, Austin accepts Jeff Jarrett's challenge. Austin promises to stomp a mudhole in Jarrett and walk it dry and then it is on to Summerslam to become the WWF Champion Xpac defeats Jeff Hardy with the XFactor, after the match WWF Champion Diesel gets into the ring and gives Hardy a Jackknife Powerbomb. Diesel says he is going to destroy the Hart Foundation at Canadian Conflict, then The Undertaker and "Stone Cold" Steve Austin will be next on the hit list and he promises to take them all out. Diesel says the only reason they are all breathing is because he allows it and after last week he is tired of playing games with them, from now on it's straight up gang warfare. WWF Tag Team Champions Owen Hart and The British Bulldog w/Jim Neidhardt defeat The Nation w/Teddy Long to retain the titles when Bulldog pins Kama after a Running Powerslam. Bret Hart on commentary says that if the Wolfpac wants gang warfare, then they got it! The Road Warriors were shown watching the match from the locker room and said that the issues between them and the Nation were far from over.

Monday Night Raw Broadcast on the USA Network July 15, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler Billy Gunn w/Sunny and Bart Gunn defeats Savio Vega w/Konnan when he pins Vega after hitting him with a boot, the referee was distracted by Bart and Konnan brawling on the floor. Marty Jannetty w/Bob Holly defeats Brian Pillman with a Rocker Dropper, Pillman had contorl of the match but kept running his mouth and getting distracted until he got caught with a Rocker Dropper. Pillman couldn't believe he lost, got a steel chair and laid out Jannetty and Holly. Ross said Pillman's grip on sanity was slipping away before our eyes. Jim Ross interviews "The Heartbreak Kid" Shawn Michaels! Michaels says his in ring career is over, that his doctors have told him that one wrong move and he could be suffer brain damage or death. Shawn reveals however that he will be joining the broadcast team and will be at ringside for The Canadian Conflict! Bret Hart comes down to ringside, Shawn says he doesn't want a fight, Bret says that while it was Shawn that cost him the WWF Title, he didn't want to see anyone's career end and he is sorry if what he did helped lead to the retirement. Bret puts his hand out and he and Shawn shake. Shawn tells Bret that he hopes the Hart Foundation kicks the Wolfpac's ass at Canadian Conflict. WWF Champion Diesel and Razor Ramon defeat The Headbangers when Diesel pins Mosh after a Jackknife. Diesel gets the microphone and he, Ramon and XPac make fun of Shawn's retirement, Diesel says that the Jackknife is what put Shawn out, and it's going to do the same to Bret, Undertaker, Steve Austin and anyone else who gets in their way! The Undertaker, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin and "Marvelous" Marc Mero w/Sable defeated Intercontiental Champion Jeff Jarrett, Crush and European Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsley when Austin pinned Jarrett after a Stone Cold Stunner, Austin had trouble getting along with his partners, even flipping them off on occasion.

Lots of fun stuff going on here. I especially enjoyed the the Diesel/Razor vs Headbangers match and the 6-mna tag match on the July 15th show.
I missed the WWF, glad to see it's back and better than ever!

Free For All Broadcast on the Preview Channel July 21. 1996 Hosted by: Jim Ross and Michael PS Hayes Rocky Maivia defeated Kama w/Ahmed Johnson and Teddy Long via DQ when Ahmed Johnson attacked Maivia, Ahmed and Kama beat Rocky down until the Road Warriors ran out and made the save. Before the match Teddy Long offered Rocky a spot with them, but Maivia refused. In Your House: Canadian Conflict Broadcast on Pay Per View July 21, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler Savio Vega & Konnan defeated The Smoking Gunns (w/Sunny) when Konnan pinned Bart Gunn after a K Driver. Billy tried to break up the pin but Savio Vega stopped him with a spinning kick at 10:33. After the match Billy and Bart start to argue, but Sunny calmed them down before they came to blows. “Marvelous” Marc Mero (w/Sable) defeated European Champion Hunter Hearst Helmsley (w/Chyna) via pinfall when he hit the TKO and followed it up with the Wild Thing Shooting Star Press at 12:43. Per the prematch stipulations had Hunter been disqualified or counted out he would have lost the European Title. Chyna attacked Mero after the match, but Mero put her down with the TKO!!! “Stone Cold” Steve Austin pinned Intercontinental Champion Jeff Jarrett (w/Debra) with a Stone Cold Stunner after fighting out of a Figure Four Leg lock at 14:54. If Austin had lost the match than Jarrett would have taken Austin’s match for the WWF Title at Summerslam. The Undertaker defeated Crush in a Casket Match when Taker chokeslammed Taker off the top rope and through a table and then Tombstoned Crush into the Casket and shut the lid. Taker posed in the ring after the match and motioned that he wanted the WWF Title, Ross says: “THE UNDERTAKER WANTS THE WWF TITLE AND GOD HAVE MERCY ON WHOMEVER GETS IN HIS WAY!!!!!” Bret “The Hitman” Hart, Owen Hart & Davey Boy Smith (w/Jim Neidhardt) defeated WWF Champion Diesel, WWF Tag Team Champion Razor Ramon & Xpac when Bret pinned Diesel after a superplex at 34:32. Most of the match consisted of Owen Hart trying to tag out to his family, Owen was bloodied early in the match and became the proverbial crimson mask stirring the crowd into a fury. The Wolfpac also worked over Owen's arm with Xpac using a Code Red Armbreaker several time, rendering the arm completely useless, they also wrapped the arm arond the ringpost several times and once when the referee was distracted crushed it between the steel steps and a chair. After the match the Hart Family who were at ringside climbed into the ring to celebrate while Helen Hart and Owen’s wife checked on him. Bret grabbed a microphone and yelled at the Wolfpac that they were scum, he said that he proved that he can beat Diesel as he did so tonight, and he wants his title match!!!!!

Monday Night Raw Broadcast on the USA Network July 22, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler Raw kicks off with Vince McMahon in the center of the ring and he brings out 1996 King of the Ring winner, and current Intercontinental Champion "Stone COld" Steve Austin. Austin defeated Jeff Jarrett last night at Canadian Conflict and now he is going to Summerslam to challenge Diesel for the WWF Title. Austin begins to talk about the Summerslam match when Bret Hart's music plays, Bret comes down to the ring without the Hart Foundation. He says he isn't out to fight, he isn't that kind of person, but he does want to get one thing straight, while he does appreciate what Austin did, winning the King of the Ring and winning the Intercontinental Title last night, Bret pinned Diesel last night in the center of the ring. The lights then go out and The Undertaker's music plays. Taker walks out to the ring, and says that last night he sent Crush to hell, and Diesel is next!!! WWF President Gorilla Monsoon along with several officials finally comes down to try and calm things down, he says as a result of Bret pinning Diesel last night, Bret will get a shot at the WWF Title next week, but Austin will still get his title match at Summerslam and The Undertaker will meet whomever the WWF Champion is at In Your House on September 22nd. Gorilla then says that since all 3 men are here and ready to go tonight, then they will meet in a Triple Threat Match in the main event!!! Jesse James Armstrong defeats Brian Pillman with a Pump Handle Slam. Once again Pillman lost because he got distracted, this time while arguing with a ringside fan. Pillman blasted Armstrong with a chair, but didn't stop there as he also took out the referee as well!!!! Vince says Pillman is a damn lunatic!!! The Nation w/Teddy Long defeats The Bushwhackers after Ahmed pins Luke with the Pearl River Plunge. During the match the Road Warriors are shown on backstage, they will meet the Nation in any match at Summerslam, the Nation can name any stipulation they want, the Road Warriors just want them in the ring. Jim Ross interviews WWF Champion Diesel, Razor Ramon and XPac, Diesel says all his enemies will be in one place at one time tonight, it sounds like the perfect time to do something about them. He says that he will end Bret's career next week, just like he ended Shawn Michaels', then he'll do the same to Austin at Summerslam and the Undertaker as well at In Your House. Diesel holds up the WWF Title and says we should get used to seeing him with it, because it's not leave his waist for a very, very long time! European Champion "Marvelous" Marc Mero with Sable defeats The Sultan with the Wild Thing. It is revealed that in two weeks here on Raw, Mero will defend the title against HHH in a final match between the two, and it will take place inside a steel cage! Intercontinental Champion "Stone Cold" Steve Austin defeated Bret "The Hitman" Hart and The Undertaker in a Triple Threat match when he pinned Hart after a Stone Cold Stunner, wild match, Undertaker had put Austin through the Spanish Announce Table, taking him out of the match, Bret caught Taker on the top rope when Taker attempted the rope walk and then brought him down with a Superplex, he had the Sharpshooter locked in when the Wolfpac with Baseball Bats tried to rush the ring, but where stopped by the Hart Foundation! The distraction was enough for Austin to roll into the ring and catch Bret with a Stunner, he got Taker with one as well then pinned Bret to get the three count and the victory!

Monday Night Raw Broadcast on the USA Network July 29, 1996 Hosted by: Vince McMahon and Jerry Lawler Raw opens up with Vince McMahon bringing Bret "The Hitman" Hart and the Hart Foundation to the ring, Owen Hart is wearing a cast and it is revealed that his arm was broken in the match at Canadian Conflict, this week Hart will challenge Diesel for the WWF Title, but last week, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin pinned Bret Hart to win a Triple Threat Match. Bret says he knows that had he not been distracted by the Wolfpac rushing to the ring he could have gotten the Undertaker to submit and that Austin never would have had the chance to hit him with the Stunner, Bret says that's OK because after he beats Diesel tonight, he'll go on to Summerslam and defeat Austin and prove it. Hunter Hearst Helmsley w/Chyna defeats Barry Horowitz with the Pedigree. The announcers hype the match between HHH and Mero next week here on Raw, inside a Steel Cage! The Road Warriors defeat The Smoking Gunns w/Sunny after hitting Bart with the Doomsday Device. During the match a promo from the Nation and Teddy Long is shown where they agree to face the Road Warriors at Summerslam, in a Ghetto Street Fight, and if the Road Warriors lose, they leave the WWF! Jim Ross interviews WWF Champion Diesel, Razor Ramon and XPac. Diesel says that tonight is step one, tonight he takes Bret Hart out once and for all, then it's onto Austin at Summerslam and The Undertaker at In Your House. Diesel says he is going to show everyone tonight just how much of a monster he can be. Rocky Maivia defeats The Brooklyn Brawler with the Rock Bottom. Vince talks about how Maivia has been working with Marc Mero lately and getting better and better in the ring. Bret "The Hitman" Hart defeats WWF Champion Diesel by pinfall after Bret rolls Diesel up for the three count when Diesel was going to attempt a Jackknife Powerbomb. Security surrounded the ringside area to make sure this stayed a one on one match, "Stone Cold" Steve Austin proivded guest commentary. Before the match began it was announced that it would be a no count out, no DQ match to insure a winner. Bret played opossum at the end, he lay limp in the ring and Diesel thought he had it all in the bag, when Diesel reached down to try and set Bret up for the Jackknife he was surprised by the roll up!!! Diesel was pissed at the end of the match but Bret wisely and quickly escaped from the ring!!! Bret Hart has regained the WWF Title!!!
