Cooley gives quite an accounting of himself, he is all over Landell, but Landell reaches for a rulebook he left on the timekeepers table, and argues with the ref that Wendell has pulled his hair, pulled his tights, an committed one outrage after another!
Bill: “Throughout the Mid-South, Buddy Landell has pulled this junk, including on Bob Backlund, but I can guarantee Thanksgiving night Backlund will not be fooled a second time by Landell and this mail order rulebook he got.
The ref will hear none of it and demands Buddy keep wrestling. Don’t get me wrong Landell wrestles well, but Cooley gives him more than he thought he would handle. But Landell catches Colley at 6:33 with a handful of this the red doesn’t see it, and Landell wins!
