Bill Mercer opens the show.
Mercer, “Welcome to ‘’World Class Championship Wrestling’. We are less than a week away from ‘Thanksgiving Star Wars’. We will talk about the big show at the Tarrant County Convention Center, and we have some great matches for you tonight. Gino Hernandez, just days away from his title defense against Kerry Von Erich, takes on Skip Young. Kerry. himself, will be in action. He takes on Art Crews. We have an interesting main event. The Great Kabuki and the Magic Dragon take on Kevin Von Erich and Chris Adams. Last week, Chris teamed with Kerry, and things did not turn out well. We will talk with both men later. Now let’s get to the ring for the Long Riders.
Match #1
The Long Riders w/General Skandor Akbar vs. “Flying” Fred Curry and Chief Jules Strongbow
Akbar’s men will take on the American Tag Team Champions in a “Texas Tornado Match” at Tarrant County. That match will be right down their alley. Tonight they meet two talented veterans. Strongbow opens up against Scott Irwin. The Chief holds his own, but it doesn’t last long. Scott tags in and punishes Strongbow. Jules is able to tag in Curry, but the veteran from Hartford, CT fares no better. Scott ends the match with a big boot and pin.
Winners-The Long Riders
Kerry Von Erich is with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me is Kerry Von Erich. Kerry, you face Gino Hernandez at the Thanksgiving show. He took the American Title from your brother, Mike,. a couple of months ago. I know you’d like to regain it for your family.”
Kerry, “Mike got cheated. He’s young and Gino pulled some tricks he can’t play on me. I’m going to Ft. Worth to win the title for my family and myself. I want to be the World Champion again, and I’ll win the American Title to get another shot, Hernandez better be ready to lose that title!”
Lowrance, “Kerry is focused, and ready.
Match #2
Kerry Von Erich vs. Art Crews
Crews and referee David Manning wait in the ring. We hear,
The “Modern Day Warrior” hits the ring and the Sportatorium crowd goes crazy. Kerry is house afire. He takes the fight right to Crews.The youngster doesn’t know what hit him. He fights, but it’s not enough. Kerry clamps on the Von Erich Claw and it’s over.

Match #3
Brian Adias and Al Madril vs, Dale Veasey and Mike Miller
Adias and Madril have formed a very successful tag team. Miller and Veasey will be a good test. Miller begins for this team and Adias for his. This is an evenly matched contest. Miller backs Asias into the corner and and Veasey gets in a few shots. The match continues and Madril takes over. He traps Vesey in the Indian deathlock and it is another victory for the popular team.
Winners-Brian Adias and Al Madril.
Gino Hernandez and Gary Hart are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance,”With me are the American and Texas Champion and his manager. Gentleman, Gino Hernandez meets Kerry Von Erich on Thanksgiving, but Mr. hernandez,you meet Skip Young today. He is very capable of beating you.”
Hernandez, “Skip Young, Kerry Von Erich, don’t make me laugh! I am your Champion and they give me these two bums? Gino Hernandez,the ‘Handsome Half Breed From Highland Park” will not lose to those two morons!”
Hart, “Gino is very confident, and he should be. I don’t think Young. or Von Erich can beat him, but we won’t take them lightly. We Have increased our training regime and it’s going to pay off. Gary Hart is the top manager in wrestling, and I plan to stay there.”
Lowrance, “Gino hernandez takes on Skip Young in our next match.”

American Heavyweight Championship
Gino Hernandez (Champion) w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Skip Young
Skip Young waits in the ring and we hear,
Gino Hernandez struts to the ring and the crowd boos. This is music to his ears. He climbs into the ring and sneers at Young. Skip is cool and ready for action. The bell rings and Young charges. he works over the Champion and Gino is in trouble. Gary Hart is worried. Gino iws able to rally and put Young on his heels. The match goes back and forth with both men having their chances. Hernandez uses the elbow drop for the win.
Winner-Gino Hernandez
Kevin Von Erich and Chris Adams are with Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “With me are Kevin Von Erich and Chris Adams. They meet the Great Kabuki and the Magic Dragon in our main event. You have had some problems in the past two weeks.”
Adams, “We have had some mishaps, but that happens in wrestling. Things happen so fast in the ring. I trust Kevin and his brothers and they trust me. We are going to win tonight and then take the Six Man Titles on Thanksgiving.”
Kevin, “Chris is right. We make a good team. I trust him and he trusts us. I couldn't have a better partner tonight, and we will be ready for the Canadiens on Thanksgiving.”
Lowrance, “Tonight’s main event is next.”

The Great Kabuki and the Magic Dragon w/”Playboy” Gary Hart vs. Kevin Von Erich and “Gentleman” Chris Adams
All four men pace back and forth. Marc Lowrance goes through the introductions. David Manning is chosen the referee this one. The bell rings and it’s Kevin and Kabuki in the ring. They match holds and moves and the crowd is on the edge of their seats. Kabuki uses his martial arts move to take control. Kevin counters with American rights and lefts. kabuki tags in the Magic Dragon and the man from Macau continues to use kicks and thrusts to stun Kevin. Adams tags in and uses his judo ability to counteract the Dragon. The match goes back and forth until Adams hits the Dragon with a superick. He covers him and Manning counts the fall. Kevin and Chris work together well and pick up a big win.
Winners-Kevin Von Erich and Chris Adams

Mercer, “Kevin and Chris are successful. It looks like they have ironed out their problems and will be a threat to beat the Canadiens. Remember, ‘Thanksgiving Star Wars’ will take place at the Tarrant County Convention Center on Thursday night. Kerry challenges Gino for the American Title, the ‘‘Texas Tornado Match’ and the Six Man Title match, what a night of wrestling. See you next week.”
