11/16/96 - Nassau Coliseum Uniondale, NY
"Rock 'N Roll" Buck Zumhoff and his co-host with Captain Lou Albano welcome us to the exciting episode of ECW Slammin's Saturdays live from the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York! They tell us they have an exciting show lined up for us here tonight! Scott Taylor and Tully Blanchard will be in action against the Green Berets and "the Original Rock 'N Roller" will get some interview time with one of Buck's favorite teams; The Hughes Brothers!
Joel Gertner makes the intros and S.D. Jones officiates all matches.
Tag-Team Match: Scott Taylor & Tully Blanchard vs. The Green Berets
The Green Berets John Rambo and Corporal Kirschner both get some ring time and give Scott Taylor and Tully Blanchard a fight; but they prove to be too much. Taylor hits Kirchner with a superkick that sets him up for the Slingshot Suplex and pinfall from Tully Blanchard for the win.

Tag-Team Match: The Hughes Brothers vs. The Texas Hangmen
Bob Orton Jr. makes a pest of himself at ringside and the Texas Hangman themselves Black Bart and Jesse Barr are almost too much for the Hughes Brothers to handle. But they do it and Spike Hughes hits the "Mission from Gawd" corner springboard cutter on Barr to squeak out the victory here.
After the match we're brought the the Slammin' Saturdays set where Buck Zumhoff is flying solo. He first reminds up that there's still time to order the exclusive Hulk Hogan Mail-Away figure. Today however his guest are two cats who form one of his favorite Tag-Team acts here at Eastern Championship; Spike and Devon Hughes; The Hughes Brothers!
The Hughes Brothers come on and thanks Buck for having them here today and talk to the kids about music including the Blues. They then talk about how they have alot to be Blue about, feeling they're not being taken seriously in the Tag-Team Title pictue. But that's going to change soon, cause as Spike tells us they're on a "Mission from Gawd" to become the ECW Tag-Team Champions!
They then help with the "Rocking 'N Rolling" segment where The Honky Tonk Man and the Hughes Brothers invites us to party with John Lee Hooker and "Boom! Boom! Boom!"
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Welcoming us back from the last commercial break of the evening Buck Zumhoff and Captain Lou Albano bring us back in time for the Wrestling Rewind Main Event all the way back from February 8th, 1995 where at Viking Hall "The Ravishing One" Rick Rude had one of the most violent matches in ECW history with the Junkyard Dog as they faced off in an Off-The-Chain Match with "The Outlaw" Black Bart as special guest referee!
Main Event: Rick Rude vs. Junkyard Dog
Now inside the ring Rick Rude is reluctant to take the chain from Black Bart, but eventually he gives in only to yank it hard wrenching Junkyard Dog's arm! This angers both Bart and The Dog; but Rude drops the chain and puts his hands up in peace backing off. Referee Bart attempts to get Rude to put the chain on his wrist again but he still refuses. Finally tiring of his antics Black Bart grabs hold of "The Ravishing One" and snaps the chain in place. Rick Rude is pissed and demands it be removed but JYD charges in and begins battering on his opponent. Rick looks to escape but he's attached to The Dog and doesn't get far. Finally in desperation Rude grabs old of the chain and tugs it while Junkyard does the same; neither man giving up any ground until "Ravishing" runs in with a cheap kick to the gut. Jumping up he slams both his fists into either side of The Dog's head dropping the big man to his knees before hammering him down to the floor with hard rights and lefts. With Junkyard down Rude winds the chain into his fist and as his opponent gets back up to his knees; he lets him have it with it! Junkyard quickly staggers back up to his feet only to receive a fist full of steel that sends him back down to the canvas where he rolls from the ring in a daze.
Rude drags The Dog back in; but getting to his feet JYD puts on the break and the two men play tug of war once again until Junkyard begins using the chain to smash Rude's fingers! He loses his grip and falls back as Junkyard rushes him with a huge shoulder strike that send Rick back into the ropes. Using the chain wrapped about his hand The Dog chokes Rude out before whipping him across the ring and then violently tugging him back towards him where he lets "The Ravishing One" have it with a big boot to the face! He follows this up with an elbow drop and staying down barks at the crowd before biting Rude's face! The crowd goes nuts and JYD gets back up to his feet wiping his mouth. Sliding out of the ring Junkyard pulls Rude out by his arm. Rick attempts to hang onto the bottom rope; but it's useless and dragged to the outside his face is soon introduced to the steel ringpost busting him open! The Dog slams his opponent into the post again before wrapping the chain tigher about his fist and letting him have it. Close to the ring; Rick Rude smartly rolls back in for a breather but not letting up Junkyard follows and pulling him up to his feet nails Rick with another fistful of chain! Rick limply throws a punch and Junkyard fires back. Soon the two men are going punch for punch inside the ring with Rude obviously being worse off until JYD takes him down to the mat hard with a clothesline. Drppping down to one knee behind him Junkyard Dog wraps the chain about Rude's neck!
Rude's face is a crimson mask as he clutches at the chain screaming in pain. Black Bart pulls out the key and asks Rude if he surrenders. He obviously says yes; but Bar just mockingly cups his hand to his ear like he can't hear him. He then puts the chain key back into his pocket as Rude grasps for it in vein. Releasing his hold on Rude; JYD stomps on him before hitting a jumping kneedrop. He stands over his fallen foe and begins barking. Just then however a bloodied Rude springs to his feet and tackles him! Junkyard startled falls back into the ropes where Rick Rude in a fury begins hammering him with his fists and whipping him with the chain. The Dog attempts to escape but the enraged Rude follows him about the ring whipping him! A lash with the chain to the back sends Junkyard down to the floor and picking him up by his hair Rick tosses him from the ring before catching a breather. He heads over to Black Bart and demands the key from him; but Bart smiles smugly and shakes his head. With the chain balled inside his fist Rude lets Black Bart have it! Not backing down Black Bart hits him back and soon the two men are brawling about the ring until Rude catches the ref with a full nelson slam.
Bart is down and Rude is rummaging through his pockets for the key. He smiles widely when he finds it. Rude justs wants out of this match. He goes to use the key when a hard tug on the chain sends the key flying through the air! Behind him Junkyard Dog is pulling himself up into the ring by it and while still on his knees he gives it a good yank sending Rick toppling down to the floor beside him! He isn't through with Rude yet! He begins hammering on "The Ravishing One" and lets him have it with a vicious headbutt that has Rick seeing stars. He then dumps Rude out of the ring to the conrete floor below. This proves to be a mistake as Rick is quick to his feet and pulls hard on the chain sending Junyard tumbling out after him! As The Dog stumbles back up to his feet on the outside Rick grabs hold of him and slams him face first into the guardrail! As he rolls up to a seated position on the floor we see that The Dog is bloodied now too! He continues hitting him while inside the ring referee Black Bart is back up on his feet. Rick Rude then lifts JYD up and slams him into the ringpost before looking for the key. He finally spies it inside the ring and sees that adazed Bart is headed toward it! He heads back inside and pushes Black Bart foward sending him into the ropes and down to the floor below. He scoops up the key and turns as he sticks it into the lock. Just then however he receives a fist to the face that sends him down to the ground! Junkyard is back up and in the ring. He stomps Rude and whips him a bit with the chain. Lifting "The Ravishing One" to his feet Junkyard hoists Rude into the air going for the Thump! powerslam. Rick however rakes the big man's eyes and falling to his feet lets him have it with a DDT!
Junkyard Dog is down but Rick Rude cannot finds the key. Finally he rolls JYD over. It was under him the whole time! Rude grabs the key but stops before freeing himself. Instead he gets on top of Junkyard and begins screaming at him to submit! He chokes him out with his forearm and proceeds to dig the key into The Dog's face! JYD screams in pain but refuses to submit! Instead he grabs Rude by the arm and bites it drawing blood! Rick Rude screams and falls backward and soon JYD is on top of him. The two men roll about pulling and pushing and hitting one another until Junkyard stumbles to his feet. Rude is back up to and they begin hammering on one another once again until Rude gets behind The Dog setting him up for the Rude Awakening! Junkyard however tossing him up and over him with a snapmare and begins battering Rude about the head! Both men are covered in blood and look a wreck as JYD forces the chain into Rude's mouth and begins pulling on it like a bridle! Rick Rude fights it but can't wiggle free! JYD drops down behind him and pushes his feet against Rude's back while still pulling on the chain in his mouth!
Eric Bischoff, Danny Davis, S.D. Jones and several of the wrestlers appear from the back and begin heading down to ringside. Even Black Bart enters and tries to calm Junkyard down as Rick Rude goes limp inside the ring.
Finally Dick Murdoch enters and gets JYD to calm down enough that he lets Rude go. On the ground "The Ravishing One" begins coughing and choking as he lies broken on the floor.
Junkyard Dog picks up the key off the mat and tosses it down at Rude who weakly picks it up and frees himself while Black Bart calls for the bell. He is off the chain and Junkyard Dog has won the match.
