Boyd Pierce: “Welcome friends to another episode of Mid South Wrestling, the King of Sports! And now with an update on one of wrestling’s most popular athletes of all time, I give you Bill Watts!

Bill Watts: ”Boyd Pierce, while there have been many changes in Mid South Wrestling, whether it be personnel or title a change, a true tradition remains: not only Thanksgiving Night wrestling, but a big Thanksgiving night wrestling show at the Superdome in New Orleans! Junkyard Dog, champion Magnum TA, Hacksaw, the Freebirds, for better or for worse, will all be there as well aS Andre and all the top stars of wrestling. Boyd, over the next few weeks it will be my pleasure to announce the  big matches that will be part of this historic card of Mid South Wrestling.

Boyd Pierce: “The countdown to a big night of professional wrestling at the Superdome on November 28! Let’s go to the ring for the first match of the hour.

Boyd Pierce: “Once again fans I bring you Bill Watts!

Bill: “Boyd Pierce it has come to my attention that we have been sent a video by the man we just saw accompany Bob Orton Jr to the ring, Ken Mantell. Ive no idea what is on this videotape but I have been informed by the producers that what is on this following footage is very interesting, lets take a listen:

Ken Mantell is surrounded by the Mantell Corporation: Angelo Mosca, Killer Kan and Bob Orton, Jr!: “You know, I had to laugh after I heard Bill Watts have the temerity to ‘thank’ the Junkyard Dog for taking a ‘home discount’ and then offer him a laughable contract extension that even the worst robber baron wouldn’t offer an employee. Junkyard Dog you are a very smart man, but let me tell you I’ve known Bill Watts for 20 years and when it comes to ripping off wrestlers, there’s none better in the business. Junkyard Dog, remember when your blinded and couldn’t see your child born? How about when Ted DiBiase knocked you cold and took your title? Who did you do this for? The fans? Then why do you owe these people a ‘hometown discount’?

“Now, Junkyard Dog, let me paint a picture of how things would be if you joined The Mantell Corporation. Instead of threatening to leave for someplace like Minnesota, or Kansas City, or Portland in order to get a pittance of a raise from that skinflint, Bill Watts, you’ll be under contract with ME. Trust you me Junkyard Dog, when your career is over, and promoters like Bill Watts have taken your last dime, and you can barely able to walk and support yourself, these fans, Bill Watts, they won’t be there to help you. But Junkyard Dog, sign with Mantell Corporation and I will promise you that you and your family will be SET FOR LIFE, and you won’t even have to leave the Mid South.

“And as for injuries, getting blinded, and suffering other indignities on behalf of these so called fans, these men standing here by my side will watch your back every step of the way. You can count on it---I will pay them very well to do so.

“Junkyard Dog, think it over. I don’t need an answer today; as a matter of fact you have a match with my Ace Cowboy Bob Orton at the SuperDome Thanksgiving night. I have every confidence that my man Bob Orton will win this match, and I’m sure your have the same confidence in your abilities. But one certainyl I do know for sure: Bob Orton Jr is gonna make life a living hell for you that night, you and I both know who this man is and what he is capable of doing inside the ring. And Junkyard Dog the only thing I ask of you is this: Thanksgiving Night, with each drop of sweat and blood you shed, with each sore bone and pulled muscle, and when you come home later that night and try and hold your child’s hand but cant because you are so beat up from wrestling this man, ask yourself two questions: are the fans worth this so-called ‘home town discount’? And how much better life would be as a highly paid, and most of all RESPECTED PARTNER, ASSOCIATE, of the Mantell Corporation, as opposed to one of Bill Watt’s head of cattle. JYD, I will see you in New Orleans Thanksgiving night!

Bill: “Well Boyd, I don’t want to take anything away from this great match so I will hold off on responding to Ken Mantells comments that are outrageous to not just me, but I think the fans and that man in the ring, Junkyard Dog, and I will retort at  a more appropriate time.

Junkyard Dog pins the Turk at 7:50!


Boyd: “Whatever you hear, one thing rings true, the Junkyard Dog remains the most sough out commodity in sports today! We will be right back!

Boyd Pierce announces that later in the hour, TERRY GORDY AND TV CHAMP BUDDY ROBERTS WILL FACE TIGER CONWAY JR AND HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN!

Michael Hayes: “YAH YAH YAH, Boyd Pierce, change that to the Freebirds will BEAT Tiger Conway Junior and my man Bam Bam here will take care of Hacksaw Duggan as we take over Mid South Wrestling! Now Bill Watts, I will give credit where credit is due: at least Tiger and Duggan have the guts to face us in the ring, but where OH where Sally Sue is Magnum TA, the so-called great champion?

Bill stands up: “Well, Michael, I will tell you where he is. But first, I want to make something clear: you said that if Magnum TA came out here, you would slap his face, am I right?

Michael: “Did I say THAT?

Terry and Buddy shake their heads ‘yes”

Michael: “ . . . . um . . well, YEAH OF COURSE AH SAID ID SLAP HIS FACE, LIKE A WOMAN, LIKE A DOG, LIKE A LITTLE CHILD! But I don’t see Magnum TA out here, do I? You know why? Because he is COWARD! He is afraid to face the Freebirds!

Bill: “Well, no, Michael. See, we can bring Magnum out here:

HERE HE IS THE MID SOUTH CHAMPION, MAGNUM TA, AND HE WALKS OUT ALL BUSINESS! HE SQUARES UP TO MICHAEL HAYES, BELLY TO BELLY NOSE TO NOSE!

Magnum: “You know something Michael Hayes, you came here just two weeks ago and have been nothing but talk, talk talk. Now you talk about slapping my face, right here on national TV? Well, here I am. Slap my face. I dare you, Im BEGGING YOU.

Michael looks a little nervous! He looks nervously at the Birds who shrug their shoulders!

Michael: “Well, now, hey hahaha, you know Magnum you are a great champion, and you know how sometimes football and basketball players and talk a little trash at each other when the other fella isn’t around, that’s all this is hahaha, look it was just all talk, to sell tickets see? I meant nothing by it. Tell ya what Champ? Let’s shake here, no hard feelings, and no one here has to get hurt.

Magnum looks down at Michaels hand . . . . . . . .  and then slaps it away!

Michael: “Ok, look, Champ, I’m gonna turn my back and walk away, all talk, OK? Hahahah.

With that Hayes turns his back to Magnum . . . . .

THEN TURNS AROUND TO SUCKER PUNCH MAGNUM! NO! MAGNUM BLOCKS IT AND PUNCHES OUT HAYES! BUDDY JACK AND TERRY GO AFTER MAGNUM, AND HE FIGHTS THEM OFF, BUT THEN HAYES HITS MAGNUM FROM BEHIND AS HE’S TAKING DOWN BUDDY!!! BUDDY AND GORDY HOLD BACK MAGNUMS ARMS, WHEN MICHAEL STANDS UP, SPITS IN HIS LEFT HAND, RAISES HIS PALM: DONT DO IT, MICHAEL, DONT DO IT:

HACKSAW DUGGAN AND TIGER CONWAY JR COME IN AS MAGNUM IS ON ONE KNEE, HOLDING HIS FACE, THEN HE GETS UP AND GOES AFTER THE FREEBIRDS, BUT HAS TO BE HELD BACK BY TIGER AND HACKSAW! MAGNUM’S FACE IS BEET RED AND HE HAS TO BE RESTRAINED BY TWO OTHER PROFESSIONAL WRESTLERS TO KEEP FROM TEARING MICHAEL HAYES FROM LIMB TO LIMB!

Boyd: “CHAOS HAS BROKEN OUT HERE ON MID SOUTH WRESTLING FANS, LET’S GO TO THE RING!

Ernie: “I thought it was settled, I thought it was settled, I thought it was settled once and FOR ALL! I was getting ready to retire to my palace as not only the undisputed King of Rasslin, but the ONLY one and true Giant of professional rasslin, and then, after I beat him from rang to rang and coast to coast, ah find out that no good Andre the Giant Dummy heard ah wasn’t gonna rassle no more and he tries and come in here and claim HE the so-called Giant of professional rasslin!
Well Andre the giant Dummy the only reason you got the guts to come back here in Mid South is because you thought I was hanging out at the local diner chowing down on dome crayfish crusted home fires without a care in the world, but it aint true, ahm still in shape and cant wait to slap yo belly and disgrace you in the general public all over agin and prove once and for all who the true giant of professional rasslin is, and what a better place to do that then the Superdome in New Orleans, Andre the Giant Dummy if you the Giant you say you are  step into the ring with the King I promise you I will put mah name on the line that is dotted I will never rassle you again because one more time ah will prove to you and the world that not only is Ernie Ladd the King of Professional Rasslin, but the only true Giant in the Sport, you big stupid Dummy!

TERRY GORDY + BUDDY ROBERTS w/Michael Hayes V TIGER CONWAY JR + HACKSAW JIM DUGGAN
The bell rings and we are underway! The workhorse of the Freebirds, Buddy Roberts bumps for Tiger who tags out to Duggan and Hacksaw bounces the TV champion around the ring, and then DEMANDS TERRY GORDY! Buddy is exhausted and complies, and Hacksaw goes after him and HACKSAW AND BAM BAM ARE GOING AT EACH OTHER, TOOTH AND NAIL AND HACKSAW GETS THE BETTER OF IT, GORDY IS STUNNED AND SPINNING AROUND THE RING, ON THE OTHER DUGGAN IS IN THE 3 POINT STANCE: HUT HUT, HIKE . . . NO!

HAYES TRIPS UP HACKSAW, Duggan turns around to go after Hayes, and GORDY SNEAKS UP BEHIND AND NAILS HIM! Gordy pounds Hacksaw, and then look at this Roberts wants back in, and Roberts kicks punches and stomps Hacksaw, and every time Duggan seems like he is going to make a comeback, Hayes distracts the referee and double team action takes place! Tiger finally gets the HOT TAG, and corners and covers the TV champion, 1-2- . . .

HAYES GRABS CONWAY’S LEG AND DRAGS HIM OUT OF THE RING! TIGER PUNCHES OUT HAYES AT RINGSIDE, BUT LOOK AT THIS TERRY GORDY SUNDAYS TIGER, AND HERE COMES HACKSAW TO HELP HIS TAG TEAM PARTNER, AND A WILD BRAWL BREAKS OUT AT RINGSIDE! Hacksaw waylays Gordy, but then Buddy Roberts jumps out of the ring, and jumps on Hacksaws back, but Hacksaw throws him off, and goes after Roberts, this allows Gordy to kick Hacksaw from behind, and by this point the ref has counted to 10 THIS IS A DOUBLE COUNT OUT, NOTHING RESOLVED HERE, as Hacksaw and Gordy brawl ringside meanwhile Roberts picks up Tiger and throws him in the ring, then he and Hayes tie up Conway into the ropes, and look at this, look at this HAYES SPITS IN HIS PALM, AND RAISES IT TO SLAP TIGER CONWAY JR!

HAYES IS GOING TO SLAP TIGER CONWAY JR!

WAIT! NO SO FAST IT’S:

HE SLIDES INTO THE RING, AND DECKS ROBERTS OUT OF HIS BOOTS AS THE COWARD MICHAEL HAYES FLEES TO TERRY GORDY FOR COVER ON THE OUTSIDE AS HACKSAW JUST GOT HIS LAST CHOPS IN AND ENTERS THE RING TO JOIN MAGNUM! THEY RELEASE TIGER, AND IN CONTROL OF THE RING ITS MAGNUM, HACKSAW AND TIGER AND ON THE OUTSIDE LOOKING IN!!!! WE ARE COMPLETELY OUT OF TIME SEE YOU NEXT WEEK!
