*Lance Russell and Randy Hales open up the show by wishing everyone a happy early Halloween. They are interrupted by Jimmy Hart, who boasts that tonight his treat for everyone in Memphis is that the Southern Heavyweight Champion King Kong Bundy will run The King right out of his hometown! Hart was yucking it up, until Jake 'The Snake' Roberts made his way down to the ring and eyed Hart. The Mouth of the South hit the road as Roberts simply snickered and left for the dressing room.
1) The Dirty White Boy pinned Norvell Austin via pinfall at 10:01 with a brain-buster.
2) Adrian Adonis (w/ Jimmy Hart) defeated Rufus R. "Freight Train" Jones via submission at 8:04 with the Goodnight Irene sleeper hold in his CWA debut.
3) The Moondogs (w/ Sir Oliver Humperdink) fought ”Wildfire” Tommy Rich & Tracy Smothers to a double disqualification at 7:45 when they fought around the ringside area. Dutch Mantell snuck out during the match and stole back Shoo Baby during the brawl. Rich and Smothers were furious when they figured this out after the match.
4) Southern Tag Team Champions The Gilberts: “Hotstuff” Eddie Gilbert & Tommy Gilbert defeated The New Generation: Tom Zenk & Steve Doll at 12:14 when Eddie Gilbert used the Hot Shot on Steve Doll to score the pin.
5) Jake “The Snake” Roberts defeated ”Ravishing” Rick Rude (w/ Jimmy Hart & Playboy Frazier) at 14:27 when Roberts connected with the DDT on Rude. Playboy Frazier attempted to interject late in the match, but Roberts hurled Rude right into him and drilled him with the DDT. Roberts snuck out of the ring after the match.
INTERMISSION
6) The Rock n’ Roll Express: Ricky Morton & Robert Gibson defeated The Interns – 1 & 2 via pinfall at 7:20 when Ricky Morton connected with a dropkick on Inferno 2 to score the pin.
7) CWA Heavyweight Champion ”Superstar” Bill Dundee defeated Dutch Mantell via pinfall at 14:45 when he connected with the Bomb’s Away knee drop across Mantell’s chest. Dutch had Dundee set up for the Hangman’s Neckbreaker, but became distracted when Tommy Rich ran down and stole back Shoo Baby! Dutch went after him, but Dundee grabbed Mantell and decked him to set up the finish.
8) Jerry “The King” Lawler defeated Southern Heavyweight Champion King Kong Bundy (w/ Jimmy Hart) by count-out at 13:34 after both men were brawling on the floor. The match descended to the floor, where Lawler managed to roll back in just in time after a right hand to Bundy. Jimmy Hart motioned to the back and out came Playboy Frazier and Rick Rude. The First Family triple-teamed Lawler in the ring, until Jake “The Snake” Roberts ran down and grabbed a steel chair. Bundy, Rude and Hart cleared the ring, but Playboy Frazier didn’t see him. Roberts wrapped Frazier across the back with a chair and then connected with the DDT. A furious Lawler then came off the second rope with a flying fist drop on the prone Frazier to end the night.
