An annoying buzzing is heard as The New Killer Bees B. Brian Blair and Brady Boone make their ECW debut. Boone starts things off with Guido Falcone and the two teams have a good back and forth contest until B. Brian Blair and Brady Boone connect with the Allergic Reaction double missile dropkick for the win.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
We're told that D stands for "Dangerous" Danny Davis. Danny then informs us that this can net us three points in the game Scattegories.
Match: Scott Taylor w/Tully Blanchard vs. Prince Nana Osei Bandoh
The Ghanan Prince brings the fight right to Scott Taylor and gives him one hell of a fight. Midway through the match Taylor takes a breather on the outside after being hit by a body avalanche and gets some advice from Tully Blanchard who is in his corner. Taylor comes back and mounts a comeback before laying Prince Nana out with a superkick for the win.
After the match we're brought the the Slammin' Saturdays set where Buck Zumhoff is flying solo. He says that he'd like to welcome his guests to the ring at this time, a true wrestling legend and perhaps the greatest TV Champion of all-time Tully Blanchard as well as a young man who has all the makings of a future Champion Scott Taylor!
They come out and shake hands with Buck. He talks with Scott about his relationship with bout Blanchard and the ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson. Taylor tells us he's been blessed with some truly great mentors in this business and talks to the kids about respecting one's elders and looking to them for advice. Blanchard puts Taylor over as a great kid and great talent and says that he feels it's only a matter of time before they have just as much Tag-Team success as he did with Arn winning the Tag-Team Titles back in the day.
The camera then cuts to a "Rocking 'N Rolling" segment where The Honky Tonk Man invites the kids at home to party with Scott Taylor's entrance music; "Welcome to the Jungle" by Guns 'N Roses!
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Welcoming us back from the last commercial break of the evening Buck Zumhoff and Captain Lou Albano bring us back in time for the Wrestling Rewind Main Event all the way back from January 4th of 1995 when ECW Champion "The Enforcer" Arn Anderson faced off with "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady in that night's Main Event!
Main Event: Arn Anderson vs. Erin O'Grady
In this non-Title bout officiated by S.D. Jones "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady looks impressive getting some offense in on the Heavyweight Champ including a corner springboard bulldog which gets him a two count. Arn Anderson however has the match well in hand and puts "The Leprechaun" away with a Gourdbuster for the win.
Lights Fade.

10/19/96 - Viking Hall Philadelphia, PA
Captain Lou Albano and the Honky Tonk Man thank us for joining the pitch hitters Rock 'N Roll broadcasting teams for another exciting edition of ECW Weekend Warriors, tonight coming to you live from Viking Hall in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania! They tell us Buck Zumhoff is back at home nursing his injuries sustained at the hands of Michele Starr two weeks ago after re-aggravating them this morning on Slammin' Saturdays. HTM calls him a wimp. Starr and Legend beat the hell out of Honky himself last week and he's still standing! They then hype tonight's card which will see Women's Champ "Gorgeous" Michele Starr in non-Title action and in the Main Event the Light Heavyweight Title will be on the line as "The Lone Wolf" Dean Malenko defends the belt against "Mr. Wrestling" himself Steve Corino!
Joel Gertner makes the intros and Danny Davis officiates all of tonight's matches.
Match: Alex Porteau w/ Ted DiBiase vs. Bobby Starr
In the first match of the evening, Alex Porteau who has "Million Dollar Man" Ted DiBiase at ringside with him makes short work of Bobby Starr whom he finishes off with the kneeling powerbomb. DiBiase claims Porteau looked like a million dollars tonight.
After the match however they're interrupted by "White Train" by Tito & Tarantula! And out from the back comes ECW President Eric Bischoff! He tells DiBiase he's glad he's happy, because after this past Wednesday's match he's come to the decision that Ron Simmons has earned his shot at the Eastern States Championship and he'll be facing Chris Benoit for the Title this Wednesday! DiBiase has a fit.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
ECW Correspondent Terri Runnels is in front of the ECW Banner looking to get a word from "The Silent Assassin" Steve Blackman. It doesn't go so well. And he just looks at her before walking off.
Match: Steve Blackman vs. Erin O'Grady
Captain Lou trash talks his former charge Steve Blackman as he comes down to ringside. Steve seems to know it too because he shoots Lou a menacing look before Irish Folk music plays and out from the back comes "The Leprechaun" Erin O'Grady who tosses some gold coins from his cauldron. Erin uses his superior speed and wrestling ability to hold his own against Blackman, but "The Assassin" has just hit him with a roundhouse kick laying him out flat! Steve is about to make the cover when... He reaches at his head. He's been hit by something! He picks it up and dangles it before him. A rubberband?! He looks at Albano pissed and is about to go after him when Erin O'Grady rolls him up from behind! 1!... 2!... 3! "The Leprechaun" just got a lucky break and he knows it as he quickly rolls out of the ring leaving a very pissed Steve Blackman to storm around the ring before hopping out and he goes after Albano just before...
A video clip featuring snippets from matches that took place this past Wednesday's show. We see Ron Simmons nail Chris Benoit with the thrust spinebuster, Taka Michinoku hit Chris Harris with the Michinoku Driver, "Ravishing" Rick Rude lay Scott Taylor out with the Rude Awakening, ECW Champion Arn Anderson flatten Steve Blackman's skull with the Gourdbuster, Dustin Rhodes clobber Mongo Vyle with the Blackout kneeling facebuster, "The Japanese Buzzsaw" Yoshihiro Tajiri force Doulas Williams to tap with the Octopus Stretch, Pogo the Clown Bury Matt Borne in the Basement; and finally we see "The Dark Prophet" Brimstone put "The Soul Stealer" Papa Shango through the announcer's table. The ECW Wednesday Nights logo then appears.
COMMERCIAL BREAK
With Joe E. Legend standing by "Gorgeous" Michele Starr cuts a promo on being the pretty, most elegant; and skilled diva in wrestling history!
Match: Michele Starr w/ Joe E. Legend vs. Beulah McGillicutty w/ Tommy Dreamer
During the match there's a split screen showing us what happened with Steve Blackman after he went off air before the break. He never did get his hands on Captain Lou because Ronnie Garvin arrived on the scene with his security team and got between the duo. Though Blackman lingered for a bit, he eventually stormed off to the back without further incident.
The ECW Women's Champion "Gorgeous" Michele Starr spends the beginning of the match complaining about that hooligan Tommy Dreamer being at ringside. This distraction causes Beulah McGillicutty to dominate the early half of the match. When she hits the Beulahsault however, Starr gets his knees up and takes the fight right out of Beulah. "The Innovator of Violence" gets up on the apron allowing Michele even more leeway as he beats Beulah down while the ref is distracted and hitting the ropes he hits the Falling Star splash for the pinfall. After the match he attempts to give McGillicutty a make-over, but Dreamer chases him out of the ring! Joe E. Legend looks like he wants a fight, but Michele pulls him away and leads him up the ramp where...
"Rock 'n Roll" Buck Zumhoff explodes from the back with a steel chair! He hammers it over the head of Legend, knocking him on his ass before smacking Starr with it repeatedly while "The Gorgeous One" screams bloody murder! Buck then gets on the microphone and tells Michele he'd better be ready next week. Because Zumhoff has hand-selected an opponent for him to face next week. And it'll be for the Women's Championship!
After the match we're taken back stage for Captain Lou Albano's "Rock 'N Rolling" segment where he invites us to party with this week's # 1 Billboard hit; The Eels with "Novocaine for the Soul!"
COMMERCIAL BREAK
Zumhoff is back at the broadcast booth with Albano and Honky as they welcome us back from the last commercial break of the evening. They then hype tonight's huge Main Event which will see "The Lone Wolf" Dean Malenko defend his Title against former ECW Champion "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino! HTM thinks this match is a step down the ladder for Corino, him being the former Heavyweight Champ. All disrespect meant from Buck, Steve never was exactly "Heavy." He says "The Rock 'N Roller" himself beat Steve back at Hotter Than Hell in '94. Something he's yet to be able to say about say... Randy Savage or Arn Anderson. "Fire" by Scooter then hits.
Gertner: The following contest is for the ECW Light Heavyweight Championship and scheduled for one fall. Introducing first from Sea Isle City, New Jersey weighing 242 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by Jason Venom; he is "Mr. Wrestling" Steve Corino! Corino seems to relish the boos he receives as he eggs the fans on.
Gertner: And now introducing his challenger this evening from Tampa, Florida weighing 212 lbs. and accompanied to the ring by David Prazak; he is the ECW Light Heavyweight Champion; "The Lone Wolf" Dean Malenko!
Light Heavyweight Title Match: Dean Malenko w/ David Prazak vs. Steve Corino w/ Jason Venom
Steve Corino apparently thinks like the Honky Tonk man because throughout the match he gestures to his own waist to mock Dean Malenko and shouts "Heavyweight Champ!" Dean however doesn't look all that impressed and tears right into "Mr. Wrestling;" out wrestling him at every turn. He drops Steve with a suplex and only gets a two count. So he hits him with a second. This time Corino scrambles outside to catch a breather and the announcers think he may have learned his lesson about underestimating the Lightweight Champ.
Davis wants him back in the ring and so does Dean. Corino climbs up onto the apron and Malenko meets him with a couple of punches before attempting to suplex him back into the ring. Steve blocks it with several punches before using the ropes to connect with a sunset flip! 1!... 2!....
Malenko just kicks out! Corino runs the ropes and connects with the Sliding C Lariat for another two. He then hits a legrdrop and traps Dean in an armbar with headscissors. Malenko grabs the rope however breaking the hold. Steve keeps on top of him doing better than the announcers would've suspected, but when he goes for the Old School Superkick! Dean ducks it and drags him to the mat by the leg! Texas Cloverl- Steve rolls over and pushes Dean off with his feet, but Malenko comes right back at him from a knee to the head. It's Dean's turn to work over Corino and he methodically dissects him for a bit before scrambling his brain with a Brainbuster! 1!... 2!...
Corino kicks out somehow before the three! Dean has had enough and pulls him up for a powerbomb, but Corino lets him have it with a Bionic Elbow as he is pulled up onto Dean's shoulder! And Malenko drops backward with Corino on top of him! Steve grabs Dean's legs! 1! 2! Dean kicks out! Corino stomps him out a bit before heading up top. Dean rolls over onto his stomach and charges the corner! He knocks Steve down crotching the former Champ on the top turnbuckle! Malenko climbs up onto the top turnbuckle and looks to be going for the superplex! But he's locked his legs on the outside of the top rope? Exploder suplex on Corino off the top! Malenko is still seated on the top turnbuckle and gets a round of applause. He then stands up and as a stunned Steve Corino gets to his feet Dean Malenko launches off hitting a diving knee drop! He hooks Corino's leg! 1!... 2!... 3! Malenko has won it!
Lights Fade.
