Match 11 Fall 20 Minute Time Limit
Southeastern veteran Roy Lee Welch teamed up with the massive and devious Flame to take on the intriguing duo of former Alabama Heavyweight Champion Jerry ‘Goldenboy’ Grey and ‘Jumpin’ Joey Savoldi. This was a back and forth encounter, but the power and size of The Flame was more than the speed and tenacity of Grey and Savoldi could overcome. The Flame caught Savoldi in a bearhug slam and tagged out to Welch who finished Savoldi off with the Fuller Leg Lock @ 13’35

Match 3
1 Fall 20 Minute Time Limit
The youngster from just up the road in Southaven, MS; Brickhouse Brown was in for his toughest task thus far as he met Mr. Wrestling II’s protégé’, the dreaded III. Brick had the early upper hand and used his quickness advantage to keep the III guessing, but the superior grappling ability of III could not be denied and once Brick made a mistake, and ended up on his back, it was nearly over. Brown was able to counter, nearly into his swinging neckbreaker finish, but III stepped on the back of his knee, broke him down and applied the Step over, Toe hold, Facelock submission that he has been perfecting and picked up a big win@ 16’24

Match 4
Special Attraction
1 Fall 30 Minute Time Limit
STEVIE RAY VAUGHN’S VOODOO CHILE as always brings out Mr. Perfect Jerry Stubbs as his opponent, the veteran, and former champion Jerry Oates waited impatiently for him inside the squared circle. This one opened up tooth and nail, but the brawling serves neither man’s strengths exceptionally well. Oates was the first to revert back to his strengths, being the grappling department. The former tag champ took it too Stubbs, but Mr. Perfect had an answer for every terrible predicament that he was placed in by Oates. The difference maker in this one was Stubbs reversing the attempted Lou Thesz Press by Oates into a hotshot maneuver across the top rope, and then finishes the shaken Oates off with his Piledriver finisher @ 26’26

RUSH’S LIMELIGHT brings out the insanely popular Lightning Express, as Parliament Funkadelic’s ATOMIC DOG brings out their partner, the Alabama Heavyweight Champion, the Choppa, Porkchop Cash. Their opponents are led to the ring by KISS’ GOD OF THUNDER, as The Nightmares, Rapid, Flash, and Speed make their way to ringside. No love lost between Horner, Brad Armstrong, and the Nightmares in this one, the difference maker tonight was the Alabama Champion Porkchop Cash! His size and strength advantage over the masked Nightmares played right into he and his partners hands. Flash and Rapid attempted the switcheroo, but were caught red handed by Horner and Cash, leaving Brad Armstrong and Speed alone in the ring, for an outstanding exchange that saw Brad reverse one hold, counter another, and surprisingly plant the Nightmare with the Side Russian Leg Sweep for the victory at @ 22’01 of an outstanding contest.

Match 6
1 Fall 30 Minute Time Limit
THE BEATLES COME TOGETHER led The Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller to the ring, this time representing his charge, the South African Assassin Boomer T. Lynch as his opponent; the young, wave making, and ready for action Frankie ‘Thumper’ Lancaster was awaiting. Thumper and Boomer tore into one another early and often, and the South African Assassin got the better of the exchanges, but the speed of Lancaster allowed him to side step most big moves. Lancaster went for his thumper slam, but Boomer forced his way down his back, followed him in, and avalanched him directly into the corner, hit a backdrop suplex with a bridge for the victory @ 14’11

Match 7
1 Fall 30 Minute Time Limit
One of the toughest teams in Southeastern History, The Masked Assassins were waiting in the ring as, ELO’S DON’T BRING ME DOWN led out Rat Patrol members Scotty Armstrong and Johnny Rich, setting this crowd into a frenzy! Much to the dismay of the local fans, the Assassins had an extended advantage to kick this one off, totally keeping the Rat Patrol off balance. Scotty Armstrong was able to make the hot tag to Johnny Rich who came in a house of fire, dropkicks, clotheslines, and backdrop’s galore turned the tide of the contest as Rich was able to single out #1 and plant him with a slingshot suplex for the pinfall @ 19’02

Match 8
1 Fall 30 Minute Time Limit
ZZ TOP’S BEER DRINKERS AND HELL RAISERS brings out Jimmy Golden and the Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller. Golden is ready for any and everything as BILLY JOEL’S YOU MAY BE RIGHT/LUNATIC brings out the hottest competitor in all of SECW and possibly the NWA, the Universal Heartthrob Austin Idol! And this one picks up right where the last couple of contests against Golden ended off, is a straight fight with referees in both combatant’s face warning them of infractions. Idol finally relents and begins to wrestle, but unfortunately for him, Golden might have the edge in that department, and more importantly has the Tennessee Stud in his corner! Golden goes for a backdrop suplex, but it gets reversed into a standing Abdominable Stretch at the hands of Idol, only to be reversed by a rake of the eyes, and a hiplock take over by Jimmy Golden. Golden goes right to work after the knee of Idol, and locks him in the Golden Spinning Toe Hold!!!! But Idol refuses to quit, even gets to the ropes, where he is able to gain a moment to recover. He comes back attempting his piledriver, but is countered out into another Golden Spinning Toe Hold, this time Golden lowers his weight, grabs the middle rope, and is able to gain the 1…..2…..3 but not the submission @ 25’30

Match 9
Semi Final
1 Fall 60 Minute Time Limit
ELO’S DON’T BRING ME DOWN brings out local favorite the Tonga Kid to a raucous ovation. As the music and smoke clears here comes the old school of old school competitors, Mr. Wrestling II, with III by his side and the Southeastern Heavyweight Championship in his corner! II’s hands have been full with Austin Idol in the past week and the Tonga Kid really takes it to him in the early going. The wily veteran that Wrestling II is regains control as per his superior grappling dominance. But TK is able to get this back to a striking contest, and his kicks were more than II could handle. III tries to get involved, but Ref. Ron West was well prepared and kept it one on one, as Mr. Wrestling II attempted his patent million dollar knee lift, TK caught him! Reversed it over, backslide, toes into the mat and driving the shoulders down, 1……2…..3!!!! THE TONGA KID HAS PINNED MR. WRESTLING II @ 24’31

FOR THE SOUTHEASTERN TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP
GEORGE THOROGOOD’S B-B-B-B-BAD TO THE BONE welcomes out the challengers and #1 contenders to the Southeastern Tag Team Championship BULLET BOB and STEVE ARMSTRONG!!! Just then LED ZEPPELIN’S KASHMERE can mean only one thing, Double AA, ARN ANDERSON and PRECIOUS PAT ROSE were being led to the ring by the Tennessee Stud Ron Fuller! This one got off hot and heavy as Anderson and Bullet picked up where they’ve left off in recent weeks, fighting like there was no title on the line or referee’s on patrol, but Mac Murray and Ron West were able to keep semi-control of this one as it went along. Double A and Bullet Bob disallowed each other from becoming too much of a factor in this one and fought it out tooth and nail! Precious Pat and Steve really took to battle inside the squared circle that saw Armstrong go for his patent diving shoulder blood from the middle rope, but the Stable obviously had him well scouted as Rose was able to side step the move catch Steve in Abdominal Stretch and then the octopus hold, before finally dropping down and turning the Octopus Hold into a pinning predicament for a big win @ 30’13 for “Precious Pat” and Double A the tag champs!!!
