THURSDAY, JUNE 2, 1994 DOW EVENT CENTER IN SAGINAW, MICHIGANHOWARD FINKEL is in the ring and welcomes the fans to the show, then introduces the competitors for the first match. GREG VALENTINE v. BOB HOLLYValentine goes on the attack to start the match, and controls most of the match. Late in the match, Valentine sends Holly into the corner. He drives his shoulder into Holly’s midsection, knocking the wind out of him, but when Valentine goes to do it a second time, Holly lifts himself up onto the turnbuckle, and dives over Valentine, with a Sunset Flip. This catches Valentine completely by surprise, and he can’t kick out! Bob Holly pins former IC Champ Greg Valentine! BARRY WINDHAM v. SAMU (w/ Afa)These two have fought each other several times in tag team action, but this time, it’s one on one. Windham is far more experienced as a singles wrestler than Samu, and it shows. After about 10 minutes of back and forth action, Windham delivers the Running Bulldog. Barry Windham is your winner by pinfall. BIG VAN VADER (w/ Bob Orton, Jr) v. DUKE “THE DUMPSTER” DROESEPoor Duke, doesn’t even stand a chance in this one. He gets some offence in, but it has very little effect on the Mastadon. Vader pummels Droese, and puts him away with a Powerbomb. Vader gets the win by pinfall. RODDY PIPER & HULK HOGAN v. JOHN HAWK & BOB ORTON, JR.Referee Earl Hebner has his hands full with this one, as these four want nothing more than to tear their opponents apart. The rulebook goes right out the window in this one, and most of the match sees all four men in the ring together. Late in the match, Hogan and Piper take control, and while Hogan brawls with John Hawk, Piper locks Bob Orton in a Sleeperhold. The lights quickly go out, and that’s all she wrote for Bob Orton. Piper and Hogan get the win. . . . . . . INTERMISSION . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the Tag Team Title match. WWF TAG TEAM TITLE MATCH BEST 2 OUT OF 3 FALLS! THE QUEBECERS (Champs) v. DEMOLITION (w/ Axe)FALL #1: Demolition goes on the attack as soon as the bell rings, and they dominate the early part of the match. The Quebecers battle back, and get the decision after Pierre rolls up Smash, puts his feet on the ropes for leverage, and gets the pinfall. FALL #2: Demolition comes back with a vengeance, they batter the Champions all around the ring. Late in the fall, we’ve got all four men brawling in the ring together, Demolition gets the upper hand, and they toss Jacques from the ring. Smash and Crush then deliver the Demolition Decapitation on Pierre, to get the pinfall. FALL #3: The first fall is fast and furious, Demolition is looking to get the decision and regain the Tag Titles, and the Quebecers are desperately trying to hang onto the belts. In the end, The Quebecers get the win after Jacques posts Crush on the outside, leaving him laying on the floor. Inside the ring, Pierre drops Smash with a clothesline, then Jacques scoops Pierre up and bodyslams him on top of Smash. Pierre then covers Smash for the 1,2,3. The Quebecers win, 2 falls to 1, and retain the World Tag Team Titles. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the main event. WWF INTERCONTINENTAL TITLE MATCH “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN (Champ) (w/ Madusa) v. MR. PERFECTPerfect takes the fight to Austin to start, and the two men trade holds and counterholds on the mat for the first few minutes. Austin eventually decides he’s had enough of that, and jabs a thumb into Perfect’s eye, then bounces off the ropes and clips the knee of Perfect. Austin spends a few minutes working on the knee, and when Perfect is finally able to fight his way back to his feet, he’s limping noticeably. That doesn’t stop Perfect, though, he continues to fight back, hitting the Champ with a series of rights and lefts that leave Austin stunned. Perfect pummels Austin, and gets several nearfalls, but he can’t keep Austin down. Austin decides he needs a break, and bails out of the ring, but Perfect jumps off the top rope with a double axehandle on Austin on the floor! Perfect whips Austin into the guardrail, then tosses him back in the ring. Back inside, Perfect continues the attack on the Champ. Austin responds by raking the eyes of the challenger, but that only stops Perfect momentarily and Perfect takes control again by booting Austin in the stomach, doubling him over, and then delivering a swinging neckbreaker for a VERY close 2-count. Madusa gets involved at this point, grabbing Perfect’s foot, and distracting him long enough for Austin to shake off the cobwebs and attack Perfect from behind with a clothesline that sends Perfect through the ropes and to the floor. Outside the ring, Austin goes on the attack, and repeatedly slams Perfect’s head into the ring apron. Austin then whips the challenger into the guardrail, and then charges at him with a clothesline that send both men into the front row. Austin climbs back into the ring, hoping for a count-out victory to save his title, but Perfect makes it up onto the ring apron, so Austin helps him back in with a suplex that gets him a 2-count. From there, Austin gets Perfect in position for another suplex, but Perfect blocks two attempts, and then reverses it, suplexing Austin to the mat. As Austin slowly gets to his feet, Perfect runs the ropes and delivers another swinging neckbreaker for another 2-count. Austin is slow getting up, and Perfect runs the ropes again, as the Champ slowly gets up. Perfect goes for a cross body block . . . BUT AUSTIN PULLS REFEREE EARL HEBNER IN FRONT OF HIM!!! Hebner takes the full impact from Perfect’s cross body block, and hits the mat. Austin immediately takes advantage, nailing Perfect with an elbow to the head. Perfect is back up quickly, and the two men brawl in the middle of the ring. Earl Hebner finally gets back to his feet . . . and calls for the bell! He awards the match, by Disqualification, to the challenger, Mr. Perfect! Perfet and Austin don’t pay any attention to Hebner, they continue brawling, eventually leaving the ring, and brawling all the way down the aisle and out of sight.

BOBBY says that we’ll hear from Shawn Michaels, regarding the travesty that took place against Michaels this past Saturday on WWF Superstars. GORILLA, chuckling to himself, says that was quite the surprise, and no one was more surprised than Shawn Michaels! BOBBY and GORILLA are joined by JOHN HAWK and BOB ORTON, JR.HAWK says that Big Bossman thought he could come out here last week and make a name for himself at John Hawk’s expense. Bossman cheated throughout the entire match, which was why Bob Orton got involved. Tonight, he’s going to the Bossman in his place! ORTON says that you’d think a former prison guard would have some morals, and would actually follow the rules, and suggests that maybe that’s why the Bossman is no longer a prison guard. He says that he’ll be at ringside again tonight, to make sure there’s no funny business on the part of the Big Bossman. GORILLA asks Orton about his match coming up on August 7 at SummerSlam, a Chicago Streetfight against Roddy Piper. ORTON says that Piper’s career is going to come to an end at SummerSlam! MONSOON sends us to the ring for the opening match. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the first match. NON-TITLE MATCH “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN (w/ Madusa) v. The smirk disappears from HBK’s face, and he asks what Perfect’s talking about.
PERFECT says that he knew that Michaels would sign the contract, and he knew that he’d also have Austin and Madusa at ringside with him. Perfect knew that there was no way it was going to be a fair fight.
MICHAELS again demands to know what he’s talking about.
PERFECT laughs, and says that there was one other stipulation in that contract . . .
THE MATCH WILL TAKE PLACE INSIDE A STEEL CAGE!!!
HBK throws a fit.
PERFECT says that this way, there will be no outside interference, nobody can get in the Cage, this way, Perfect can be guaranteed that it’ll be one on one!HEENAN is disgusted, and says he can’t believe that the WWF would allow Mr. Perfect to pull a stunt like that. MONSOON says that Perfect has a point, every time he’s been in the ring with either Michaels or Steve Austin, it’s never one on one, it’s always two on one, or with Madusa there, even three on one! GORILLA then says that they’ve got a camera in the back, and they’ll get a response from Shawn Michaels. We go to the backstage area, where Shawn Michaels is pacing, and three men in suits are seated at a table, looking over some papers.MICHAELS says that he’s got his lawyers going over this contract with a fine-toothed comb, there’s got to be something in it, a loophole or something. GORILLA asks if Michaels is scared, and that’s why he’s doing this. MICHAELS responds that he’s not going to let the WWF lock him in a Cage with a lunatic like Mr. Perfect. He says that the fans remember a couple of weeks ago, where Perfect jumped him in the backstage area, or even further back, where Perfect attacked him in the parking lot. HBK says that Perfect is an animal, and he’s not about to let the WWF lock him in a Cage with Perfect. One of the lawyers comes over and says something to Michaels. It’s low, but it sounds like he’s saying it’s ironclad. MICHAELS throws a fit again, and grabs a nearby chair, tossing it halfway down the hallway. END VIDEOMONSOON says that Shawn Michaels isn’t getting out of this, he signed the contract, now he’s got to man up and face Mr. Perfect in the Loser Leaves the WWF match, inside a 15 ft. high Steel Cage! HEENAN says this isn’t right, there’s no way the WWF should let Mr. Perfect get away with this. He asks where Commissioner Blanchard is when you need him? HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. BARRY WINDHAM v. RENO RIGGINS – Windham makes short work of Riggins, hitting him with the Running Bulldog for the pinfall. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the next match. HULK HOGAN v. GREG VALENTINE – Valentine attacks Hogan before the bell, and after knocking Hogan to the mat with a clothesline, Valentine goes to work on the knee of the Hulkster. After softening up the knee, Valentine looks to end the match early by slapping on the Figure Four Leglock, but Hogan kicks him off, sending Valentine to the mat. Hogan goes on the offensive, and after battering Valentine, Hulk whips him into the ropes, and nails Greg with the big boot. With Valentine prone on the mat, Hogan delivers the Legdrop for the pinfall victory. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Back from the break, go to the set of PIPER’S PIT. HOT ROD introduces his guest this week, a man that has made a name for himself all over the World, and has now made his way to the World Wrestling Federation, they call him the Man of 1,000 Holds . . . DEAN MALENKO. MALENKO comes out, and ignores Piper offering his hand. Malenko’s got a scowl on his face. PIPER talks about his nickname, the Man of 1,000 Holds. MALENKO says that he is superior to every other wrestler in the World. He’s forgotten more holds than most wrestlers will ever know, and that includes Roddy Piper. PIPER just laughs it off, and asks Dean what brought him to the World Wrestling Federation. DEAN says that he wants to prove to the World that he’s the best, and this is the place to do it. This is where the so-called “superstars” are, and when he goes through these “superstars”, one by one, the World will finally take notice. PIPER starts to say something else, but Dean pulls the mic back and cuts him off. MALENKO says that so far, none of the wrestlers around here want to get in the ring with him, so he can’t show the fans his skills, so what he’s decided to do is, next week, he will put on a wrestling exhibition. PIPER asks what he means. MALENKO responds that if Piper would shut his mouth and listen, he would explain. He says that he will go out and find a group of top amateur wrestlers, he will bring them to RAW next week, and he will get in the ring and showcase his abilities against these amateur wrestlers. PIPER asks why amateurs, why not professional wrestlers? MALENKO says that the men around here are not “wrestlers”, they come out here and they carry on like buffoons, like Piper, running around in a skirt. They hit each other with chairs and foreign objects, but they do not wrestle. That’s not what wrestling is about. PIPER starts to say something else, but Malenko cuts him off again. DEAN says that he’s wasted enough time talking to Piper, and this interview is OVER! With that, Malenko walks off the set. PIPER says he has a feeling that boy’s mouth is going to get him into a lot of trouble around here! . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . We see an ad for the upcoming issue of WWF MAGAZINE. WWF CHAMP LEX LUGER is on the cover, and there’s also a feature story inside, chronicling his rise to the top of the WWF. Also inside, a story about some of the Jr. Heavyweight wrestlers that have been taking the wrestling World by storm in places like Mexico and Japan. The article says that the WWF is working to finalize a deal that will bring some of the very best Jr. Heavyweights to the World Wrestling Federation. HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the main event. THE BIG BOSSMAN v. JOHN HAWK (w/ Bob Orton, Jr) – Bossman attacks Hawk as soon as the bell rings, and the two men brawl in the middle of the ring. The rulebook goes right out the window in this one, as does any resemblance to scientific wrestling. Bossman is looking for payback after what Hawk and Orton did to him last week. As we near the 7-minute mark of the match, the Big Bossman has the match well in hand, and looks to be on his way to victory. However, Bob Orton has other ideas, and just as he did last week, Orton jumps up onto the ring apron. This time, though, the Bossman is ready, and he nails Orton with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor! Bossman turns his attention back to John Hawk, and continues to pummel him. A figure appears in the aisleway . . . and BIG VAN VADER charges the ring! Vader, who just last week signed a contract with Bob Orton, hits the ring and attacks the Bossman from behind! Referee Earl Hebner immediately calls for the bell, disqualifying John Hawk again, and giving the win to the Big Bossman. Hawk and Orton don’t care. Orton grabs Hebner and throws him out of the ring, while Vader and John Hawk do a number on the Big Bossman. Vader pulls Bossman up, and whips him towards Hawk, who nails Bossman with a LARIAT! Vader then pulls him up again, and delivers a Powerbomb! A chorus of cheers goes up in Cobo Hall as HULK HOGAN and RODDY PIPER hit the ring! Piper and the Hulkster jump into the ring and brawl with Orton and his men. They get the upper hand, until Orton nails Piper with a low blow, then puts the boots to him. While that’s going on, Vader and Hawk gang up on Hogan, and work him over. Finally, several referees and a group of security personnel arrive on the scene, and force Orton, Vader and Hawk from the ring. They leave the ring, leaving the Bossman, Piper and Hogan laying on the mat. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . MONSOON and HEENAN talk about what we just saw before the break. GORILLA wonders what kind of damage was done to the Big Bossman, after that Lariat AND a Powerbomb from Vader. HEENAN says that he’s never liked the Big Bossman, and maybe this will finally be the end of him, just like it will be the end of Roddy Piper, when Bob Orton is done with him at SummerSlam! MONSOON wraps up the show, and hypes next week’s show, which will include the “wrestling exhibition” that Dean Malenko talked about on Piper’s Pit. —CLOSING CREDITS—

MALENKO says that the men around here are not “wrestlers”, they come out here and they carry on like buffoons, like Piper for example, running around in a skirt. They hit each other with chairs and foreign objects, but they do not wrestle. That’s not what wrestling is about.
PIPER starts to say something else, but Malenko cuts him off again.
DEAN says that he’s wasted enough time talking to Piper, and this interview is OVER!GORILLA says that we’ll see that wrestling exhibition this Monday night. BOB says that RODDY PIPER is next, and says that they haven’t forgot about HULK HOGAN either. Hogan made the mistake of aligning himself with Piper, against him and Hawk earlier in the year, and they’re going to make sure that Hogan pays for that as well! HOWARD FINKEL introduces the competitors for the main event. QUEBECER PIERRE (w/ Jacques) v. CRUSH – Crush still has his face painted in the red and silver, similar to the design while part of Demolition, but he’s gone back to the orange, yellow and purple trunks that he wore earlier. Crush uses his size and strength advantage to take control of the match, while Pierre resorts to dirty tricks. Every time Crush gets the upper hand, Pierre rakes his eyes and jabs a thumb in his eye, to gain the advantage. Late in the match, Crush is in complete control, and looks to be on his way to victory. Crush lets go of Pierre, and takes a swing at Jacques. Jacques jumps down off the apron, to avoid Crush, but it gives Pierre a chance to roll the big man up from behind. Crush is caught completely by surprise, and Pierre grabs a handful of trunks for good measure. Crush can’t kick out, and Pierre gets the victory by pinfall. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . HEENAN and MONSOON wrap up the show. GORILLA hypes next week’s show, which will include Mr. Perfect taking on Fatu of the Headshrinkers in the main event. —CLOSING CREDITS—

WWF CHAMPION LEX LUGER, HULK HOGAN and MR. PERFECT squared off with the trio of WWF INTERCONTINENTAL CHAMP “STUNNING” STEVE AUSTIN, BIG VAN VADER and JOHN HAWK. The match was a wild one, with plenty of brawling, and some mat wrestling thrown in for good measure. Bob Orton Jr. was certainly NOT happy about being handcuffed to Roddy Piper at ringside! As the match progressed, things got completely out of hand. Big Van Vader tried to bring a chair into the ring from the floor, but he was met on the ring apron by a dropkick from Mr. Perfect that put him right back out on the floor. Vader dropped the chair into the ring as Perfect dropkicked him, and Steve Austin quickly picked it up. Austin bashed Perfect over the head with it, but was hit by a clothesline from Hulk Hogan, causing Austin to drop the chair. Hogan picked it up, and brained Austin with it, then clobbered Vader as he tried to get back in the ring. When Hogan turned his attention to the last heel standing, John Hawk, Big John thought better of it, and quickly jumped out of the ring. Referee Tim White called for the bell, and declared the match a DOUBLE DQ!After the bell, Piper and Orton were uncuffed, and then got into a skirmish on the floor, which Piper got the better of, knocking Orton on his butt with a series of rights and lefts. The heels picked Orton up off the floor, and headed for the locker room, while Luger, Perfect, Hogan and Piper stood in the ring, calling for them to come back and fight.

KENDALL says that this is the match they’ve been working towards since they first came to the WWF. He asks the fans to come out and cheer them on, and says that with their support, he and Barry will leave Chicago as the new World Tag Team Champions! We then go to comments from The Quebecers JACQUES and PIERRE are standing in front of a WWF banner.
JACQUES says that the Windham brothers disrespected them, and disrespected all of Canada, by interrupting the Canadian national anthem and attacking them from behind. He says that, where he comes from, when someone disrespects you like that, you gotta teach them a lesson. That’s exactly what he and Pierre are going to do at SummerSlam!
PIERRE says that the Windhams are just like every other American, they whine and complain, because they just can’t accept the fact that they’re inferior to Canadians! He says that on August 7, they’ll show everyone that the Windhams aren’t even in the same league as the Quebecers.

The match goes back and forth for the next few minutes, until Mr. Perfect takes control, and puts Fatu away with the Perfect-Plex. Perfect gets the win by pinfall. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . GORILLA and HEENAN are joined at ringside by DEAN MALENKO. BOBBY welcomes Malenko, and shakes his hand. MONSOON says Dean has a reputation as being one of the finest wrestlers in the World. DEAN says that he’s not one of the finest, he is THE finest wrestler on the planet. Soon, the WWF wrestlers, and fans, will come to realize it as well. GORILLA then asks about last week, where Dean attacked the amateur wrestlers after his “wrestling exhibition”. MALENKO doesn’t answer, he just glares at Gorilla for a moment, then walks over and climbs into the ring for the next match. GORILLA says that Dean Malenko is certainly an intense individual, but he wonders if he’s all there. HEENAN says that Gorilla’s just jealous, because Malenko is a better wrestler than he was, and says that he’s about to see what fans around the World already know, that Dean Malenko truly is the Man of 1,000 Holds. FINKUS MAXIMUS introduces the competitors for the next match. DEAN MALENKO v. RENO RIGGINS – Malenko shows off his abilities here, as he methodically works Riggins over, wearing him down. Malenko gets the win at about the 2 minute mark, by locking Riggins in the Texas Cloverleaf for the submission. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Back from the break, go to the set of PIPER’S PIT. HOT ROD introduces his guest this week, his friend and occasional tag team partner, HULK HOGAN! HOGAN comes out and the two men shake hands. PIPER says that Bob Orton Jr. and his goons have been a thorn in both their sides for a while, and he understands Hogan wants to address the situation. HOGAN says that originally, he planned to team up with the Ultimate Warrior for a match at SummerSlam, against Big Van Vader and John Hawk, since Piper was busy with Bob Orton. After Vader’s attack on the Warrior, that’s not going to happen. HULK goes on to say that after what Orton and his men did to the Big Bossman recently, he went to the Bossman, and asked him to take Warrior’s place at SummerSlam. Hogan says that the match has been signed, it will be him and the Big Bossman taking on Big Van Vader and John Hawk on August 7 in Chicago! HOGAN then says that ever since Vader arrived in the WWF, he’s been sending people to the hospital. Hulk says that someone needs to put a stop to that, and thinks that he’s just the guy to do it! HULK then issues a challenge to Vader, for a match, right here next week on RAW! At that point BIG VAN VADER appears on the set!!! VADER gets in Hogan’s face, and says he’d gladly take Hogan on next week, and says that he’ll put Hogan in a hospital bed, right next to his buddy the Ultimate Warrior! Taped on June 20 at CAESAR’S PALACE in LAS VEGAS, NEVADABefore the opening plays, we see footage from two weeks ago, where the Windham brothers interrupted the Quebecers during the Canadian national anthem.wwf superstars introduction 1993GORILLA MONSOON and PAUL E. DANGEROUSLY welcome us to Caesar’s Palace for this week’s episode of WWF SUPERSTARS!!!GORILLA is wearing a toga, but PAUL E. is in his usual attire. DANGEROUSLY says that there is no way he was going to come out in a toga, and make a fool of himself. If Monsoon is OK with looking like a buffoon, then that’s great, but Paul E. wants to look his best at all times. GORILLA just scoffs, and talks about today’s show, including the main event, the Big Bossman takes on the Ugandan headhunter, Kamala! PAUL E. wonders if we’ll see Bossman end up as one of those creepy shrunken heads? FINKUS MAXIMUS is in the ring, and introduces the competitors for the first match. BIG BOSSMAN v. KAMALA (w/ Kim Chee) – Bossman’s offence seems to have little effect on the Ugandan warrior at the start of the match, and Kamala soon takes control. After a series of chops put Bossman on the mat, Kamala hits the splash. Kamala makes the mistake of trying to pin the Bossman while he’s on his stomach. Kim Chee screams as Kamala from ringside, and Kamala finally realizes the problem and rolls Bossman over. By that point, Bossman is able to kick out and makes a comeback. Bossman hits Kamala with everything but the kitchen sink, and then, in a very impressive move, he nails the Ugandan warrior with the Bossman Slam. The Big Bossman gets the win by pinfall. We go to a pre-recorded “WWF UPDATE” segment, hosted by GORILLA MONSOON.GORILLA says this WWF Update is brought to you by WWF Monday Night RAW: “Prime Cuts” and WWF WrestleMania 10, which are both available now on Coliseum Video. After the match, GORILLA and PAUL E. talk about the feud involving WWF Champion Lex Luger, Mr. Perfect, Shawn Michaels and Intercontinental Champ “Stunning” Steve Austin. PAUL E. seems to greatly admire Austin and Michaels and puts them over as the two greatest superstars in wrestling today. GORILLA says that they have a recap for the fans, showing what’s gone down between these four men. The first video shows Austin wrestling Mr. Perfect, with the mysterious masked man showing up. At WrestleMania X, the masked man reveals himself to be Shawn Michaels, and helps Austin retain the IC belt.MONSOON says that Michaels and Perfect had been involved in a bitter rivalry prior to Michaels going back to wrestle in his hometown of San Antonio. The next video is clips of some of the battles between Michaels and Perfect, including a parking lot brawl, and an altercation in the backstage area, where Perfect bashed Michaels over the head with a trashcan.PAUL E. says that shows what kind of man Perfect is. First he jumps Michaels from behind in the parking lot, when HBK was simply minding his own business, then he has to resort to hitting him with foreign objects to get the upper hand. He says that Perfect is a disgrace. The final video shows Austin throwing out a challenge to WWF Champ Lex Luger, then clips of a big cake being brought out for Luger. Madusa makes her debut by climbing out of the cake, distracting Luger long enough for Michaels and Perfect to attack him.GORILLA says that this leads us to SummerSlam ’94, where Michaels and Perfect will meet in a Cage, and Lex Luger will put the belt on the line against Austin. A few weeks back, Perfect tricked Michaels into signing a contract with the added stipulation that the loser of their match would LEAVE the World Wrestling Federation FOREVER! DANGEROUSLY says that Perfect thinks he put one over on HBK, but Michaels will get the last laugh when he forces Perfect to have to leave the WWF. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . Afterwards, Vader comes off the top rope with a Moonsault on Horowitz! GORILLA talks about next week’s main event, as Vader meets the Native American Tatanka! We go to SHAWN MICHAELS, along with MADUSA, on the set of THE HEARTBREAK HOTEL. MICHAELS introduces his guest this week, a man who’s WAAAYYY past his prime, and the host of Piper’s Pit, that second-rate segment on Monday Night RAW . . . RODDY PIPER. PIPER comes out, and goes to say something, but Michaels pulls the mic away from him. MICHAELS says that he used to look up to Piper. He thought Piper was the coolest cat around, back in ’85 when he was feuding with Hulk Hogan. But since then, Piper’s gone soft, he started pandering to all these idiot fans, and now, to top it all off, he’s wrestling alongside Hulk Hogan. PIPER tries to speak again, but again Michaels pulls the mic away. HBK continues, saying that Piper’s Pit used to be great, back when he cracked Jimmy Snuka over the head with that coconut, but just like Piper himself, the Pit is nothing more than a shell of what it used to be. He says that it must be quite overwhelming for Piper, to be on a show the calibre of “The Heartbreak Hotel”. This time, PIPER grabs the mic out of Michaels’ hand. PIPER says that, normally, he would take offence to that, and he would give Michaels a taste of what Jimmy Snuka experienced all those years ago. But, he’s going to let it go. He says that Michaels’ days in the WWF are numbered, he’s got about 6 weeks left. Michaels knows it, and he wouldn’t feel right about kicking Michaels when he’s down. MICHAELS just laughs and says that Piper’s situation isn’t any better. He’s got the Chicago Streetfight coming up with Bob Orton, who everybody knows carried their team back in the day. He says that Orton’s going to beat Piper so bad, and embarrass him so much, that Piper won’t be able to show his face in the WWF ever again! The two bicker back and forth for the next minute or so. PIPER ends by saying that Michaels is a punk, and he can’t wait to watch Mr. Perfect send him packing at SummerSlam! The bagpipes begin to play, and Piper walks off the set, leaving Michaels seething. HBK complains to Madusa, who tries to console him, as we go to a commercial break. . . . . . . COMMERCIAL BREAK . . . . . . FINKUS MAXIMUS introduces the competitors for the final match. BARRY & KENDALL WINDHAM v.
