Piper’s Pit is next. Roddy’s guest is Ole Anderson. Piper says that it is obvious that Ole is injured and can’t be in War Games. Ole says Piper is right for once is his worthless life! Jake Roberts beats Nailz via DQ when Rude interferes. Rude hits two DDTs on Jake and then, Rude and Nailz spike piledrive Jake! Jake has to be helped out of the ring! Jesse doubts that Jake even makes it to War Games!
In a preview of the US Tag Team Title match at Fall Brawl, Road Warrior Hawk(w/Animal & Paul Ellering) takes on Booker T of Harlem Heat (w/Stevie Ray). Referee Randy Anderson calls the bout a no contest-Stevie ray and Animal have a fight at ringside and both men end up in the ring! They brawl for a few minutes, but Anderson and Ellering somehow get them separated.
In a battle of high flyers, Rob Van Dam pins Devon Storm. They announce that RVD will take on Tazmaniac at Fall Brawl. Jesse says Rob won’t have such an easy time that night!
Tazmaniac teams up with Wrath to defeat Derrick Dukes & Calvin Knapp. Wrath will take on Ahmed Johnson at Fall Brawl. Jesse says the Carnival of Souls doesn’t duck tough competition, that’s for sure.
Ahmed Johnson & Billy Jack team up with impressive newcomer Ken Shamrock to defeat Stary Ryder & the Jynx Brothers. Shamrock pins Ingo Jynx with a Northern Lights suplex and bridge, The announce team raves about Shamrock’s skill level.
Public Enemy & the Headbangers score a rugged win over Team Extreme & the Eliminators. Rocco Rock uses a foreign object to knock out John Kronus to set up the pin.

In a rare singles appearance, Rick Steiner pins Max Thrasher after a belly to belly suplex off the top rope.
Tazmaniac defeats Calvin Knapp via submission to the Tazmission.
Rob Van Dam & Ahmed Johnson beat Tony Stetson & George South. The Carnival of Souls is in Piper’s Pit, after the match and RVD & Ahmed challenge them to come to the ring. The challenge falls on deaf ears.
PIPER’S PIT: This week, Roddy welcomes the Carnival of Souls(Wrath, Tazmaniac, the Faces of Fear, & Abdullah the Butcher). Piper says they remind of a sideshow he went to at a carnival when he was a wee lad in Scotland! Taz says he wouldn’t say that if the Master was here! Piper asks who the Master is and said if he was all that tough, he would make an appearance. Wrath asks if Roddy really wants to see him that bad. Piper says “Bring him on!” On the video wall, we see a man in a hooded robe. The lighting is such that we can’t see his face. Piper tells the Master to come out of hiding because guys like Ahmed Johnson and RVD would really like to meet him! The Master (again with the disguised voice) says that he his time has not yet come and that he will be revealed before the “dawn of Samhain”. Piper asks what Sam Hill has to do with anything. Wrath says that if Piper doesn’t take the Carnival of Souls seriously, they will leave! Piper says that next week, he’ll try to have somebody who doesn’t belong in the loony bin!
Next , we have a video feature spotlighting newcomer Ken Shamrock. Mean Gene does the voice over and we hear about Ken’s hardscrabble upbringing. We see comments from Bob Shamrock, the man who adopted Ken and helped him turn his life around. Gene gives a rundown of Ken’s athletic background, including his UFC accomplishments. We see video of Ken working out with UFC superstar Dan Sevren and there’s a testimonial from Sevren about Shamrock’s toughness. Shamrock warns all of the “bad boys” in WCW that if he needs backup, his buddy Dan is only a phone call away!
Fit Finlay tunes up for his WCW Cruiserweight Title shot at Fall Brawl by beating Dusty Wolfe with the Celtic Knot. Larry says that while Akira is an amazing athlete, Finley could ground his high flying offense with a hold like that!
WCW Cruiserweight Champion Akira beats Duane Gill with the STF. Larry says that it looks like Akira might be a better all aound wrestler than he first suspected.
In a wild one, Tommy Dreamer(w/Scotty Riggs) pins Johnny Grunge(w/Rocco Rock) after DDT’ing Rock on a chair that Grunge slid into the ring for Rock to use. Jesse says that the Team Extreme/Public Enemy match at Fall Brawl tomorrow night could steal the show!
Bam Bam Bigelow beats Headbanger Mosh by DQ when Headbanger Thrasher interferes. Bam Bam is bravely attempting to fight both Headbangers when Ole Anderson hits the ring and nails him from behind with a 2x4! The Headbangers and Ole dish out a brutal beatdown until Vader hits the ring to make the save! The Headbangers take on Vader and Bigelow at Fall Brawl tomorrow night!
Sting prepares for War games by pinning Butch Reed after three consecutive Stinger Splashes.
Sid Vicious & Lex Lugar (w/Ole Anderson) defeat the Moondogs. The match ends when Sid has Spot in the cobra clutch and Lugar has Spike in the Torture Rack. Jesse reminds us that War games can only end in a submission or surrender!
Sting and his squad for War Games do an interview. Sting is fired up and this might be their chance to run the Horesmen outta WCW once and for all!Steamboat says there’s a lot of pressure on him in the status match-not only will that match decide which team gets the one man advantage in War Games, his TV Title is also up for grabs! Jake Roberts admits that Rick Rude did a number on him last week, but on his death bed, he’ll be able to hit the DDT! Jake also introduces the team mascot, his python! The Steiners say that they are ready! Sting says that they have one more battle before the War begins: a six man tag that’s up next!

Arn takes full advantage of Steambaot’s dazed condition and executes the gourdbuster! The Horsemen steal one! Jesse points out if Arn does that tomorrow night that the babyfaces will be in big trouble because not only will Stamboat lose his TV Title, his team will have the numbers disadvantage in War Games!
The Horsemen do an interview. Ole says that tomorrow will be the greatest night the Horsemen have ever had! Flair says that they just proved that they are the greatest group of talented wrestlers ever assembled and Rude and sexy Sherri only make it sweeter! Arn ays that he just gave Steamboat a glimpse into the future and it didn’t look too good, did it? Rude says that he won’t let the Horsemen down. Rude also says that he hopes these redneck fans have enjoyed watching Jake the Snake because he won’t be around after tomorrow! Sherri says they plan on taking that nasty snake and making Rick a nice pair of wrestling boots!Ole says he might be out of action, but ask Bigelow if he still isn’t dangerous!Sid says that WCW had better be having an ambulance on standby! Lugar says he can’t wait to get one of the jerks on the other team into the torture rack and get the win for his team! Flair says Charlotte is Horsemen Country and War Games is the Horsemen’s kind of match! WOOOOOOOOO!

QUICK RESULTS
1. Status Match/World TV Title Match: Arn Anderson(w/Ole Anderson) pinned Ricky Steamboat in 8:54 after knocking Steamboat out with brass knucks that Ole handed him. The Horsemen team will have the numbers advantage in War Games.
2. WCW World Cruiserweight Title Match: Akria pinned Fit Finlay in 10:22 with a Musasabi Press to retain his title. The Charlotte fans gave the match a well d deserved standing ovation.
3. The Faces of Fear & Abdullah the Butcher defeated Steve Blackman & the Eliminators in 5:49 when Meng pinned Blackman after a thrust kick.
4. RVD went to a 15 minute draw with Tazmaniac.
5. Public Enemy beat Team Extreme in 10:01. Rocco Rock pinned Tommy Dreamer after Johnny Grunge nailed Tommy with a hubcap. Referee Nick Patrick had his neck caught in the ropes and his back turned to the action when the foreign object was used. After the match, Public Enemy attempted to put Scotty Riggs through a table, but Team Extreme’s mentor, Roddy Piper ran in, swinging a baseball bat, to make the save.
6. Bam Bam Bigelow & Vader defeated the Headbangers (w/a 2x4 wielding Ole Anderson)in 9:23 when Bam Bam pinned Mosh after a slingshot splash. Ole attempted to interfere several times, but it really didn’t make a difference. After the fall, Vader grabbed Ole’s 2x4 and broke it over his knee!
7. Ahmed Johnson defeated Wrath by DQ in 7:23 when the Faces of Fear and Tazmaniac attacked Ahmed. RVD ran in with a chair and hit Van Daminators on both Faces of Fear and Taz to make the save.
8. US Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors(w/Paul Ellering)defeated Harlem Heat in 12:27 to retain the title. Booker and Stevie put up one heck of a fight before Hawk pinned Stevie with an inside cradle. After the match, there was a tense staredown, followed by handshakes.
THE WAR GAMES:
• Scott Steiner and Lex Lugar started out. They seemed evenly matched, but Scott had just hit a Frankensteiner when the time expired.
• The Horsemen sent Sid Vicious into the ring. Since, Lex was still recovering from the effects of the Frankensteiner, it was one on one for a little while, but before long, Lex was able help Sid and they dished out quite a beating until the buzzer sounded to even the odds.
• Rick Steiner nearly tore the cage down to get into the match! Rick came to his aid and dominated this segment with Steinerline after Steinerline!Rick had the Horsemen reeling when the buzzer sounded!
• Rick Rude entered the ring with a Tennessee chain wrapped around his right hand and turned the tide of the battle! Before long, both Steiners were lacerated and taking a serious beating! They were in serious trouble when time expired!
• Jake Roberts was the next man out for the faces! Jake got to the cage door, surveyed the scene, and got out the python! Jake entered the ring with the snake and the heels started trying to climb out of the cage! Sherri Martel came out, grabbed a mic, and called for Nick Bockwinkel to come down and get the puthon out of the ring! Bockwinkel came out and ruled that, while the match was no DQ, adding non-human combatants was going too far and ordered that Jake put the snake back into the bag and have it removed from the arena. Jake complied and Sting came out and carried the snake bag to the back. The heels seemed to gain momentum from this and took control of the match. The faces were still getting the worst of it when it was time for the Horsemen to add another wrestler!
• Arn Anderson, the new TV Champion joined the fray. Arn and Rude worked over Jake and, before long, had Roberts busted open! The heels seemed to be in firm control when the buzzer sounded to signal reinforcements were on the way!
• Sting charged into the ring and turned the tide of battle! HE went on the attack against all of the heels and soon, the Horsemen team was reeling! Sting had just hit a Stinger splash on Double A when the buzzer sounded again!
• Ric Flair arrived and made an impression straightaway by hitting low blows on Sting and Rick Steiner! Lugar took advantage of the situation by attacking Rick Steiner and focusing on his back. Meanwhile, Flair went to work on the Stinger’s legs. As the final seconds of this segment ticked down, Flair applied the figure four on Sting and Lugar hoisted Rick Steiner into the torture rack. Meanwhile Rude hit the neckbreaker on Roberts and Sid chokeslammed Scott Steiner! It looked bad for the babyfaces!
• Ricky Steamboat came to the ring. Steamboat climbed to the top rope and hit a cross body on Lugar! Lugar collapsed with both Steamboat and Rick Steiner on top of him. It wouldn’t be Steiner submitting tonight! Meanwhile, Sting reversed the figure four on Flair! Flair is screaming in pain! Ole clobbers gatekeeper Michel Hayes with his 2x4 and grabs the key out of Michael’s pocket! Ole gets into the cage, but gets met by Jake Roberts! DDT!!! Flair is still in serious trouble! Sherri is in the cage! She attempts to throw powder in Jake’s eyes, but Steamboat kicks her hand and the powder goes into the eyes of Lugar and Rude! Jake DDTs Lex! DDT on Rude! The Steiners tie Sid up in the ropes while Steamboat chases Sheri out of the cage! There’s nobody to save Flair! The Nature Boy submits to the Stinger!
STING’S SQUADRON WINS WAR GAMES!!!!
While there is a good sized contingent of Horsemen fans in Charlotte, most of the fans pop huge for the babyfaces as pyrotechnics go off inside the Coliseum!

6. Bam Bam Bigelow & Vader defeated the Headbangers (w/a 2x4 wielding Ole Anderson)in 9:23 when Bam Bam pinned Mosh after a slingshot splash. Ole attempted to interfere several times, but it really didn’t make a difference. After the fall, Vader grabbed Ole’s 2x4 and broke it over his knee!
7. Ahmed Johnson defeated Wrath by DQ in 7:23 when the Faces of Fear and Tazmaniac attacked Ahmed. RVD ran in with a chair and hit Van Daminators on both Faces of Fear and Taz to make the save.
8. US Tag Team Champions the Road Warriors(w/Paul Ellering)defeated Harlem Heat in 12:27 to retain the title. Booker and Stevie put up one heck of a fight before Hawk pinned Stevie with an inside cradle. After the match, there was a tense staredown, followed by handshakes.
THE WAR GAMES:
• Scott Steiner and Lex Lugar started out. They seemed evenly matched, but Scott had just hit a Frankensteiner when the time expired.
• The Horsemen sent Sid Vicious into the ring. Since, Lex was still recovering from the effects of the Frankensteiner, it was one on one for a little while, but before long, Lex was able help Sid and they dished out quite a beating until the buzzer sounded to even the odds.
• Rick Steiner nearly tore the cage down to get into the match! Rick came to his aid and dominated this segment with Steinerline after Steinerline!Rick had the Horsemen reeling when the buzzer sounded!
• Rick Rude entered the ring with a Tennessee chain wrapped around his right hand and turned the tide of the battle! Before long, both Steiners were lacerated and taking a serious beating! They were in serious trouble when time expired!
• Jake Roberts was the next man out for the faces! Jake got to the cage door, surveyed the scene, and got out the python! Jake entered the ring with the snake and the heels started trying to climb out of the cage! Sherri Martel came out, grabbed a mic, and called for Nick Bockwinkel to come down and get the puthon out of the ring! Bockwinkel came out and ruled that, while the match was no DQ, adding non-human combatants was going too far and ordered that Jake put the snake back into the bag and have it removed from the arena. Jake complied and Sting came out and carried the snake bag to the back. The heels seemed to gain momentum from this and took control of the match. The faces were still getting the worst of it when it was time for the Horsemen to add another wrestler!
• Arn Anderson, the new TV Champion joined the fray. Arn and Rude worked over Jake and, before long, had Roberts busted open! The heels seemed to be in firm control when the buzzer sounded to signal reinforcements were on the way!
• Sting charged into the ring and turned the tide of battle! HE went on the attack against all of the heels and soon, the Horsemen team was reeling! Sting had just hit a Stinger splash on Double A when the buzzer sounded again!
• Ric Flair arrived and made an impression straightaway by hitting low blows on Sting and Rick Steiner! Lugar took advantage of the situation by attacking Rick Steiner and focusing on his back. Meanwhile, Flair went to work on the Stinger’s legs. As the final seconds of this segment ticked down, Flair applied the figure four on Sting and Lugar hoisted Rick Steiner into the torture rack. Meanwhile Rude hit the neckbreaker on Roberts and Sid chokeslammed Scott Steiner! It looked bad for the babyfaces!
• Ricky Steamboat came to the ring. Steamboat climbed to the top rope and hit a cross body on Lugar! Lugar collapsed with both Steamboat and Rick Steiner on top of him. It wouldn’t be Steiner submitting tonight! Meanwhile, Sting reversed the figure four on Flair! Flair is screaming in pain! Ole clobbers gatekeeper Michel Hayes with his 2x4 and grabs the key out of Michael’s pocket! Ole gets into the cage, but gets met by Jake Roberts! DDT!!! Flair is still in serious trouble! Sherri is in the cage! She attempts to throw powder in Jake’s eyes, but Steamboat kicks her hand and the powder goes into the eyes of Lugar and Rude! Jake DDTs Lex! DDT on Rude! The Steiners tie Sid up in the ropes while Steamboat chases Sheri out of the cage! There’s nobody to save Flair! The Nature Boy submits to the Stinger!
STING’S SQUADRON WINS WAR GAMES!!!!
While there is a good sized contingent of Horsemen fans in Charlotte, most of the fans pop huge for the babyfaces as pyrotechnics go off inside the Coliseum!
