Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, we are in Texas!”
Rhodes, “The Lone Star State, the home of the American Dream…baybee!”
Tenay, “Let’s get this started. Here’s what happened last week.”
Jim throws up his hands and walks away. Doink stands up and smashes his sign into Duggan’s head. Hacksaw goes down like he’s been shot. Doink begins to remove the tape from the stick on his sign. It’s not a stick! It’s a lead pipe! Duggan is out cold. Doink leaves the ring and walks to the bank. Medical personnel check on Duggan.
Hacksaw Jim Duggan walks out.
Tenay, “Hacksaw…”
Duggan, “Can it Tenay! I’m not here to be a nice guy! I want Doink, and I want him now!”
Tenay, “”Doink isn’t here this week.”
Duggan, “Get me a match with him at Thunderstruck! I want my revenge!”
Tenay, “I’m sure James J. Dillon will get to work on that.”
Duggan, “He better, or I’m going to find him myself! HOOOOOOO!”
Tenay, “Hacksaw is fired up!”
Rhodes, “I wouldn’t want to be the clown!”
Match #1
Crush w/Mr. Fuji vs. Iceman King Parsons
The massive man from Hawai’i takes on the veteran from St. Louis. Iceman starts fast. He uses his quickness to frustrate Crush. Fuji shouts instructions from ringside. Crush regroups and uses his size and strength to take over. He clamps on the Kona crush, and Parsons submits.
Winner- Crush
Match #2
The Bushwhackers vs. The Assassins
The popular Kiwis meet the mysterious masked team. Assassin #1 starts with Luke. The Bushwhacker wrestles his usual manic style. The masked man is in trouble. He tags in #2. He tries several illegal moves. Butch tags in and he takes over. The Bushwhackers use the battering ram for the win.
Winners- The Bushwhackers
Match #3
The Colorado Kid vs. Killer Brooks
The young Kid has been very impressive. Brooks will do anything to win. This should be a good one. The Kid starts quickly. He moves around the ring very smoothly, and Brooks is frustrated. He roughs up the Kid. The crowd gets behind the youngster. The Kid rallies and wins with a rolling cradle.
Winner- The Colorado Kid
Marc Lowrance is with Ludvig Borga. Borga holds two feathers.’
Lowrance, “Mr. Borga, let’s see what happened last week.”
Tatanka steps toward Borga. Borga sucker punches Tatanka with the mic. He goes down. Borga grabs the plaque and smashes it into Strongbow’s head. The legend goes down. Borga reaches down and picks up the headdress. He begins to tear it apart. He tosses the feathers into the ring. He completely destroys the sacred item. Borga tosses what is left onto Tatanka, and leaves the ring. The crowd is stunned as medical personnel check on Tatanka, and Strongbow.
Lowrance, “That was a heinous attack.”
Borga, “I came to this country to destroy Americans! Tatanka is a representative of Native Americans, worthless and week. Strongbow is a decrepit old man, he should be put out to pasture. They wear these stupid feathers like women! Ludvig Borga is a man, and proved it! I destroyed Tatanka, you won’t see him around here again!”
Lowrance, “I don’t think that’s true.”
Borga, “That’s because you are a stupid American!”
Lowrance, “Mr. Borga is in the ring next.”
Match #4
Ludvig Borga vs. Tony Falk
Borga carries what’s left of Tatanka’s headdress. Borga attacks Falk, and he overwhelms him. He refuses to pin Tony. Suddenly, Tatanka hits the ring. He attacks Borga. Ludvig doesn’t know what hit him. Borga dives out of the ring to escape. Tatanka grabs the mic.
Sanders, “Borga! I want you at Thunderstruck! You will pay!”
Result- No Contest
Match #5
The Quebecers w/Scott D’Amore vs. Tony Stetson and Mike Maverick
Team Canada stands at attention as “Oh Canada” plays. Jacques starts with Stetson. Rougeau is very talented, and he shows it. Maverick is in trouble and tags in Stetson. Tony tries his hand. Pierre tags in and dishes out further punishment. He hits the cannonball for the win. D’Amore’s tram looks very good.
Winners- The Quebecers
Marc Lowrance is seated in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, September 29 is fast approaching, and that means ‘Thunderstruck 94’. We will be at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. A very limited number of tickets are still available, but remember you can purchase the event on pay per view. Contact your cable provider for ordering information. We have a couple of new matches to announce tonight. Hacksaw Jim Duggan gets his wish. WWA President James J. Dillon has signed Duggan vs. Doink the Clown. Mr. Duggan is out for revenge. We also know the final two wrestlers in the World Television Championship tournament. The first contestant is the ‘Laughing Man’ Hugh Morrus. You know that Kevin Sullivan will be lurking somewhere. His opponent will be this man”
We see Diamond Dallas Page and Kimberly in the interview area.
DDP, “The World Television Title would look good around my waist, what do you say Kimberly?”
Kimberly, “It sure would!”
DDP, “Morrus, I do respect you. You’re a good wrestler, but you’re not ready for what I’m going to bring! Feel….The…BANG!”
Lowrance, “DDP vs. Hugh Morrus for the television title. Here is the rest of the card.
Kevin Sullivan meets Sam Houston. Will Baby Doll be there? Where is she? A lot of questions about this match.
The United States Title is on the line as Dustin Rhodes defends against Big John Hawk.
Eric Bischoff leads two thirds of ‘Eric Bischoff Enterprises’, Hollywood Hogan and the Giant into battle as they defend the World Tag Team Champions against Men on a Mission.
Finally, in the main event, Yokozuna with Mr. Fuji, defends the World Title against the ‘Macho Man’ Randy Savage. The eyes of the wrestling world are on this match.

Maxx Payne vs. Gary Royal
The big rocker takes on the veteran Royal. Gary gives up size and strength, so he tries a series of dirty tricks. Payne fights them off, and dishes out punishment. Royal is game, but Payne hits a German suplex for the win.
Winner- Maxx Payne
Marc Lowrance is with Big John Hawk.
Lowrance, “With me is John Hawk. Mr. Hawk, you challenge Dustin Rhodes for the U.S. Title at Thunderstruck 94. Are you ready?”
Hawk, “Ready, look at me the toughest Texan in the business. Rhodes is a fake Texan, and I’m going to prove it in L.A. Rhodes you’re just like your daddy, a loser! I’m going to destroy you!”
Lowrance, “John Hawk sounds ready.”
Match #7
Big John Hawk vs. “Desperado” Joe Gomez
Hawk is ready for Dustin Rhodes, but the young “Desperado” will give him all he wants. Hawk goes right after Gomez, the youngster is in trouble. Hawk lands rights and lefts. Gomez starts to fight back. The crowd is behind Gomez. The comeback is short lived. Hawk takes over and hits a big clothesline for the win.
Winner- Big John Hawk
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, we have two more shows before the pay per view, who knows what might happen.”
Rhodes, “That’s right Iron Mike, you never know what will happen, but it’s going to be exciting!”
