The program opens with highlights of “Saturday Night Wrestling”. We see Randy Savage pin the World Champion Yokozuna. We go to Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes.
Tenay, “Welcome everyone, what a show on Saturday! Dusty, the Macho Man pinned Yokozuna!”
Rhodes, “Fuji has to be worried, Macho is gunning for the World Title!”
Tenay, “We will talk about that today. We will talk about ‘Thunderstruck 94’. Dusty, what’s going on with DDP and Bischoff?”
Rhodes, “I don’t know, but Bischoff is up to something.”
Tenay, “DDP is in action tonight, maybe we will learn something. Also, we have a gret main event, Hacksaw Jim Duggan takes on Gangrel. Let’s get things started with the veteran Bobby Eaton.”
Match #1
Bobby Eaton vs. Gary Royal
The veteran Eaton is still very smooth in the ring. He controls the action, and Royal is frustrated. He tries to rough up Bobby, but it doesn’t work. Eaton hits the Alabama jam for the win.

Men on a Mission vs. Killer Brooks and Lou Perez
The big rappers have a date with the World Tag Team Champions at Thunderstruck 94. Brooks and Perez are a tough team. Mo starts with Brooks. The veteran from Waxahachie, TX uses every dirty trick in the book. No fights him off and tags in Mable. The giant pounds away at Brooks. Perez tags in, but he can’t solve Mable. He hits the Samoan drop for the win.

Diamond Dallas Page w/Kimberly the Diamond Doll vs. Flash Flanigan
Page has been very impressive since arriving in the WWA. Last week, Eric Bischoff came to the ring to talk to DDP. No one seems to know what that was about. The bell Rings and we are underway. Page is very aggressive, and Flanigan doesn’t know what hit him. Page finishes things with the Diamond cutter. As referee Billy Silverman is raising DDP’s hand Eric Bischoff comes to the ring again. He has a brief conversation with Page and leaves the ring. What is going on?
Winner- Diamond Dallas Page
Marc Lowrance is with Dustin Rhodes.
Lowrance, “With me is the United States Champion Dustin Rhodes. Mr. Rhodes, you are signed to face John Hawk at Thunderstruck 94. He is big, and tough.”
Rhodes, “He is, he’s a big old Texan like me. It will be a fight, and I’m not backing down from a fight. Hawk is very good. I fought hard to win this title, and I’m not going to give it up without a fight. Hawk, you show up in LA, and this big Texan is going to teach you a lesson!”
Lowrance, “It will be a knock down, drag out, match.”

Dustin Rhodes (United States Champion) vs. Mike Maverick
The popular Champion takes on the young Maverick. Dustin starts fast. He is very aggressive, and Maverick is in trouble. Dustin is very smooth and moves from hold to hold. Maverick tries to mount a comeback, but it’s not enough. Rhodes hits the bulldog for the win.
Winner- Dustin Rhodes

The Nasty Boys vs. The Assassins
The Nasty Boys have arrived with a loud bang. They meet the mysterious masked team. Saggs starts with Assassin #1. Saggs is aggressive and has the masked man on the run. Saggs continues to dish out punishment. The masked man is able to tag in his partner. Knobbs tags in, and toys with #2. The Nasties use the double ddt for the win. This team seems strangely popular with the fans.
Winners- The Nasty Boys
Marc Lowrance is with Eric Bischoff and Paul Orndorf.
Lowrance, “With me are Eric Bischoff and Paul Orndorf. Before we get to ‘Mr. Wonderful’, what is going on with you and Diamond Dallas Page? Two weeks in a row, you have approached him after a match. Is there a deal brewing?”
Bischoff, “First of all, that’s none of your business, but I will tell you this, Mr. Page and I are old friends. In fact, we used to be neighbors in Florida. That’s all you need to know.”
Lowrance, “Alright, but I don’t think that’s the entire story. Now, you have taken the WWA by storm. You have the World Tag Team Champions, and you have Paul Orndorf.”
Bischoff, “‘Eric Bischoff Enterprises’ is almost at its apex, but not quite.”
Lowrance, “Really not at the top yet?”
Bischoff, “Good Lowrance, you know what apex means. We only have the World Tag Team Titles, we want the World title, and we have three men capable of winning it.”
Lowrance, “Of course…”
Bischoff, “Hold on, I’m not finished. That boob, JJ Dillon, is adding a World Television Title, that would look good on our collection.”
Lowrance, “Any of your men would make a good TV Champion.”
Bischoff, “So would a wrestler who’s not with us…yet.”
Lowrance, “Really, I don’t suppose you’d like to elaborate.”
Bischoff, “No, I would not.”

“Mr. Wonderful” Paul Orndorf vs. Charlie Norris
Orndorff takes on the talented Native American from Minnesota. Norris starts quickly. Norris chops away at Orndorff, and Paul is in retreat. Orndorff takes to the floor and confers with Bischoff. He returns and slows the pace of the march. The veteran uses all the tricks in his bag. Norris puts up a good fight, but Orndorff wins with the piledriver.
Winner- Paul Orndorff

Lowrance, “Fans, September 29 is fast approaching, and that means ‘Thunderstruck 94’. We will be at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Dustin Rhodes defends the United States Championship against Big John Hawk.
Eric Bischoff leads the World Tag Team Champions, Hollywood Hogan and the Giant, against Men on a Mission.
We will see the finals of the World Television Championship tournament, and we can say that the two wrestlers will be announced, next week, on this program.
Based on what happened on ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’ we can add this match, Sam Houston will face Kevin Sullivan. Will Baby Doll be there? Where is she? Maybe those questions will be answered.

Suddenly Savage scoops up the big man! He slams Yokozuna! Savage climbs to the top rope. The Patriot cuts off Crush. Savage hits the flying elbow and covers Yokozuna. Patton counts 1…2…3! Randy Savage pins the World Champion! The crowd goes crazy.
Lowrance, “Randy Savage pinned the World Champion. Because of that, the ‘Macho Man’ will challenge Yokozuna for the World Title at ‘Thunderstruck 94’. Let’s hear from Mr. Savage.”
We see Randy Savage in the interview area.
Savage, “Oh yea, Yokozuna, I beat you, yes I did! The ‘Macho Man’ pinned you 1…2…3! In the middle of the ring, yes I did! In Los Angeles, at Thunderstruck, it will be 1…2…3 again, and I’ll be the World Champion! Ohhhhh Yeaaaaa!”
Lowrance, “The Macho Man is ready for the Champion. Stay tuned to WWA programming for more information.”

Hacksaw Jim Duggan vs. Gangrel w/Kevin Sullivan
We are supposed to have a main event. Supposed to because Doink the Clown is sitting, cross legged, in the middle of the ring holding a sign that reads “Hacksaw is Unfair!”. Referee Chad Patton pleads with Doink to leave. Hacksaw is visibly frustrated. Gangrel, and Sullivan are standing back watching, and trying to figure out how this benefits them. Duggan yells at Doink. The Clown sticks his tongue out at Duggan. Jim throws up his hands and walks away. Doink stands up and smashes his sign into Duggan’s head. Hacksaw goes down like he’s been shot. Doink begins to remove the tape from the stick on his sign. It’s not a stick! It’s a lead pipe! Duggan is out cold. Doink leaves the ring and walks to the bank. Medical personnel check on Duggan. Gangrel and Sullivan leave the ring. It was an easy night for them
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, the clown showed his true colors!”
Rhodes, “He knocked Hacksaw cold! I can’t believe it!.
Tenay, “There is so much going on in the WWA! Don’t miss a minute of it. Join us next week, for more exciting action!”
