Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Dusty, welcome to New Mexico!”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, the ‘Land of Enchantment’, the Dream has been here many times, baybee!”
Tenay, “We have a lot going on tonight, but we are going to get started on horseback. Two new tag teams are in the ring to get us underway!”
Match #1
The Nasty Boys vs. Dick Slater and Buckhouse Buck
Two rugged teams make their debut. Neither team caters to the fans' cheers, who will they get behind? Saggs and Buck open the contest. The brawl starts immediately. Both men throw rights and lefts. The crowd reacts to every blow. Saggs backs Buck into the corner. He and Knobbs work him over. Knobbs tags in, and he has Buck in trouble. Somehow, Buck breaks free and tags in Slater. The veteran from Tampa goes right after Knobbs. The match is a pier six brawl. All four men end up in the ring. Referee Chad Patton tries to control the action, and he rings the bell. Both teams are disqualified. The fans loved the action.
Result- Double Disqualification
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes are in the announce position.
Tenay, “Dusty, what a brawl!”
Rhodes, “I know all four of the men, and they are tough.”
Tenay, “Let’s talk about the rest of the program. Big John Hawk is here, as is Terry Taylor. We will talk about ‘Thunderstruck ‘94’, and a new title that will be coming to the WWA. Sam Houston is here, and he wants answers from Kevin Sullivan. Where is Baby Doll?”
Rhodes, “If Da Debil is involved, you never know what will happen.”
Tenay, “Also, a wrestling legend is here tonight. Chief Jay Strongboy will be here, and he has something for Tatanka, and they are in the ring now.”
Marc Lowrance is in the ring with Tatanka and Chief Jay Strongbow.
Lowrance, “With me are two of the greatest Native American wrestlers in history. Tatanka representing the present, and a true legend, Chief Jay Strongbow. Mr. Strongbow, the floor is yours.”
Strongbow, “Tatanka, the Native American community is so proud of you. You have risen to the top of the wrestling world, and I know that you will soon be a champion.”
Tatanka, “Thank you Mr. Strongbow.”
Strongbow, “To commemorate your accomplishments, we have a couple of gifts for you. First a plaque, honoring your accomplishments.”
Strongbow hands the plaque to Tantanka.
Tatanka, “Thank you Mr. Strongbow.”
Strongbow, “Finally, I have a personal gift for you. Many years ago, my brother Jules and myself won the world tag team championship. I wore the headdress to the ring that night, I want to give this to you.”
Tatanka, “Thank you, that means so much to me.”
Suddenly there is a commotion in the aisle. Ludvig Borga comes to the ring. He grabs the mic.
Borga, “What a pathetic display! I know that all Americans are pathetic and weak. Native Americans, what a laugh. You were conquered so easily! You were pathetic losers, and you continue to be in the wrestling ring!”
Tatanka steps toward Borga. Borga sucker punches Tatanka with the mic. He goes down. Borga grabs the plaque and smashes it into Strongbow’s head. The legend goes down. Borga reaches down and picks up the headdress. He begins to tear it apart. He tosses the feathers into the ring. He completely destroys the sacred item. Borga tosses what is left onto Tatanka, and leaves the ring. The crowd is stunned as medical personnel check on Tatanka, and Strongbow.”
We go back to Tenay and Dusty.
Tenay, “Dusty, that was terrible!”
Rhodes, “Tatanka is not going to take this lying down! He will be out for revenge!”
Tenay, “I think Mr. Borga may have made a big mistake. Let’s go back to the ring for Alex Wright.”
Match #2
Alex Wright vs. Wild Bill Irwin
A good small man vs. a good big man. Irwin jumps Wright before the bell. Alex tries to follow the rules, but that might be a mistake in the one. Irwin dishes out punishment, and Alex is in trouble. He does rally. He uses his quickness to finish tne comeback and wins with a moonsault.
Winner- Alex Wright
Match #3
Terry Taylor vs. Black Bart
The veteran from Florida takes on the big cowboy. Bart starts fast and dishes out punishment. Taylor rallies, and fights back. The action is intense. Momentum is on Taylor’s side. Bart tries to rough him up, but Taylor recovers, and wins with the flying forearm.
Winner- Terry Taylor
Marc Lowrance is in the studio.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans, we are approaching ‘Thunderstruck 94’. September 29 at the Los Angeles Sports Arena. Tickets are going fast, but you can view it on pay per view. The WWA always provides great pay per view action, and this will be no different.
Here is what we know so far.
For the United States Championship, Dustin Rhodes defends against Big John Hawk.
Tonight, we can add another match. Hollywood Hogan and The Giant defend the World Tag Team Championship against Men on a Mission.
We also have a big announcement, and we will go to WWA President James J. Dillon.”
We see Dillon seated at a desk.
Dillon, “Fans, one thing that has been a constant in wrestling history has been a TV Title. The WWA has not had one…until now. In the coming weeks a tournament will take place in several venues. The two winners will wrestle at Thunderstruck 94, and the winner will be the first World Television Champion. Stay tuned to WWA television for more information.”
We go back to Marc Lowrance.
Lowrance, “That is big news. Remember, September 29 is the date. We will have information in the coming weeks. Contact your cable provider for ordering information.”
Match #4
Big John Hawk vs. Tom Zenk
Hawk has signed to challenge Dustin Rhodes for the U.S. Title. Zenk is very popular, and he will be a good test. The early moments are very even, the action goes back and forth. Zenk gains an edge, and this frustrates Hawk. He goes to the roughhouse tactics. Now the momentum belongs to the big Texan. It’s a great match, and Hawk wins with a big clothesline.
Winner- Big John Hawk
Marc Lowrance is in the ring with Sam Houston.
Lowrance, .With me is Sam Houston. Sam, I know how much Baby Doll means to you. Have you heard anything from her?”
Houston, “No Marc, I haven’t heard a thing. I know Sullivan is involved.”
Lowrance, “You have challenged Sullivan to meet you tonight. I don’t know if he’s here. If he is, let’s see him.”
Houston, “Sullivan! Get out here!”
Kevin Sullivan comes down the aisle. He enters the ring, and takes the mic.
Sullivan, “Hold on Houston, you keep accusing me of having something to do with Baby Doll leaving you, I think that has more to do with your inability to make her happy.”
Houston, “I know you did it! I know it! You’ll pay for this! Get in the ring with me at Thunderstruck. I may not get Baby Doll back, but I’ll get my revenge!”
Sullivan, “I’ll do it. I’ve tried to take it easy on you, but not now. I’ll get in the ring with you, and I’ll tie you to the tree of woe, and you will regret every stepping in the ring with me!”
Lowrance, “I think we have another match for Thunderstruck.”

Yokozuna and Crush w/Mr. Fuji vs. “Macho Man” Randy Savage and The Patriot
This is a big one. Fuji’s team is massive, but Savage and the masked man are both fine wrestlers. Chad Patton will referee the contest. Crush and the Patriot open the contest. The big Hawai’ian uses his size and strength to take the early edge. The New Mexico crowd is on the edge of their seats. The Patriot tries to rally. Now Crush is in retreat. Crush tags in the World Champion. The massive man from Japan eyes the Patriot. These two went back and forth for some time. They lock up, and Yoko takes over. He has the masked man in trouble. The Patriot is able to tag in Savage. This is what the people wanted to see., the Macho Man vs. the World Champion. They go at one another. The intensity is off the charts. The match goes back and forth. Suddenly Savage scoops up the big man! He slams Yokozuna! Savage climbs to the top rope. The Patriot cuts off Crush. Savage hits the flying elbow and covers Yokozuna. Patton counts 1…2…3! Randy Savage pins the World Champion! The crowd goes crazy!
Winners- Randy Savage and The Patriot

Tenay, “Dusty, the Macho Man shocks the world!”
Rhodes, “He pinned Yokozuna! The Macho Man!”
