The new US Tag Champions, the Faces of Fear(Meng & The Barbabrian) are led to the ring by Col. Robert Parker and they demolish the Cole Twins! Jesse says the Steiners are in serious trouble!
Jake Roberts makes his in ring debut and finishes George South with the DDT. Afterwards, jake is interviewed and WCW Commissioner Nick Bockwinkel is there and says he is attempting to find Jake a suitable opponent for the Clash. Jake says he’d like a shot at a Horseman! Lex Lugar comes out and says he’d be happy to take Jake on July 1st! The Commissioner makes the match!
Scotty Riggs defeats the Texas Ranger after a missile dropkick.
The Headbangers score an impressive win against Doug Basham & Flash Flanagan.
Mean Gene says that he has a HUGE surprise for the fans! Bagpipe music plays and ROWDY RODDY PIPER IS IN WCW!!! Roddy says he is proud to be here in the big leagues and that he’s ready for anybody or anything! The Headbangers come out. They show total disrespect-they call Roddy an “old man” and say that they are the only people in WCW allowed to wear kilts! They challenge Roddy to a match at the Clash and say they’ll rip off his kilt and shove it down his throat. Roddy says they are brave to challenge an “old man” to a handicap match. Scotty Riggs comes out and says that he’s had bad luck with tag team wrestling recently, but He knows he can count on Roddy! He’d be proud to team with Piper against Mosh & Thrasher at the Clash. Piper says he sees a lot of potential in Riggs, shakes Scotty’s hand and agrees to the match!
Arn Anderson takes on Sting! Sting looks like he’ll get the win as he locks in the Scorpion Deathlock, but Ric Flair and Ole Anderson run in and the Stinger takes a beating! Afterwards, Sting challenges Ric and Arn to a tag team match at the Clash! He says that he’s going to make a phone call as soon as he gets to his dressing room. His partner will rock the Horesemen’s world!
Ahmed Johnson pins Moondog Spike. The announce team reminds us that Ahmed has challenged Rick Rude for the Clash.
Rick Rude pins Chaz Taylor. Afterwards, he says Ahmed Johnson doesn’t belong in the same ring with the United States Champion, but he’ll take the match as a “charity case”!
The Road Warriors demolish the Jynx Brothers. Wildo and Ingus do take some incredible bumps for Hawk & Animal. Afterwards, thE Road Warriors talk to Gene about the match just signed for the Clash: The Road Warriors vs.The Nasty Boys in an elimination match!
Harlem Heat destroy The Arachnid & Dr. Zero. In a postmatch interview, they say that they should be US Tag Champions and that they want a match with the Faces of Fear for the belts!
In a competitive match, Sid Vicious’ awesome power overcomes Stev Blackman’s martial arts skills.
Ric Flair and Arn Anderson are interviewed. They say they’ll take on Sting and they don’t care who his partner is!
