“Monday Night Thunder”

The program begins with highlights from last week.
Now they turn their attention to Piper. They dish out punishment. The Giant hits a chokeslam on Roddy, and Hogan lands the legdrop. Patton calls for the bell. He throws the match out. They continue to punish Piper. The crowd boos loudly. Hart and his men leave Piper lying in the ring.
We see Hogan and the Giant in the locker room.
Hogan, “I want the world to understand what they just saw. The Giant and I just destroyed two Icons! You won’t see Piper around here any more! We just put the whole WWA on notice, Hollywood Hogan and the Giant rule the world, and everyone else better keep looking over their shoulders.”
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Dream, Hogan and the Giant have layer down the gauntlet.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, those two are destroying people, who’s next?”
Tenay, “Who knows? Let’s talk about tonight. We have an exciting main event, the United States Champion, the Bossman, takes on the Colorado Kid. We also have more information about ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’, and the ‘Summer Spectacular’. Let’s get things started with an interesting debut.”
Match #1
Tony Falk waits in the ring. We hear circus music, and down the aisle comes Doink. He stops to entertain the fans on the way to the ring. People still don’t know how to react to him. He climbs into the ring, and the bell rings. Doink proceeds to put on a wrestling clinic. He is very impressive. He controls the action, and wins with the stump puller. What a debut!

Tatanka vs. Gary Young
The popular Tatanka has been riding high. The veteran Young will be a good test. Tatanka starts quickly. He takes the fight to Young. Gary goes to the underhanded tactics. Tatanka rallies. He clamps on the Indian deathlock, and Young submits.
Winner- Tatanka

IRS vs. Iceman King Parsons
The “Tax Man” takes on the veteran from St. Louis. Parsons starts fast. IRS is frustrated, and takes to the floor. He argues with the ringsiders. IRS comes back to the ring. The crowd is into the action, and the match goes back and forth. IRS hits the audit for the win.
Winner- IRS
Marc Lowrance is in an interview area.
Lowrance, “Welcome fans. June 29 is fast approaching, and that means ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. At 8:00 on ESPN we will present 90 minutes of WWA action. We have a great show for you. We can announce tonight that Doink the Clown will be in action. He made an impressive debut earlier in the program. We also know the Yokozuna, the World Champion, will take on Tito Santana. The veteran from Toucula, Mexico will be a good test for the massive champion. Finally, we announced previously, that the World Tag Team Champions would be defending the titles. There seems to be some controversy about this. The Galactic Warriors will be in action, but as of right now, we do not know who their opponents will be. Apparently, there are intense negotiations going on, and Jimmy Hart’s name keeps coming up. Does that mean the T-Rex Brothers will receive a rematch? Well, no one seems to have an answer. I guess you will have to join us on the 29th. Stay tuned to WWA programming for more information.”

Quebecers w/Scott D’Amore vs. Joe Savoldi and Jackie Fulton
D’Amore’s “Team Canada” has become even more powerful with the addition of the Earthquake. Jacques and Pierre are one of the top tag teams in the sport. D’Amore demands “Oh Canada” is played and he and his men stand at attention. The Quebecers are sharp and vicious. Savoldi and Fulton try to use their athleticism and speed. The match is close for a while, but the Canadians take over and Pierre wins with the cannon ball.
Winners- The Quebecers

Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs. Billy Black
The popular Bagwell takes on the “Bad Boy”. The action is fast and furious. Bagwell is a fine young wrestler, and the fans, especially the ladies, have taken to him. Black starts quickly. He works over Marcus. The crowd gets behind him, and he rallies. The match goes back and forth until Bagwell hits the blockbuster for the win.
Winner- Marcus Alexander Bagwell
We see Marc Lowrance in the studio.
Lowrance, “Fans, summer is here, and that means the ‘Summer Spectacular’. July 28, at the Tacoma Dome, on pay per view. The WWA presents the best in wrestling action. This will be the biggest night in WWA history. We have several matches already signed. We know that Yokozuna will defend the World Championship against the Patriot in a no disqualification, no count out match. The masked man has been looking for a fair fight, and he feels this is his chance. We also know that the Macho Man will be in action. Randy Savage is one of the biggest names in wrestling, and he will be on the card in Tacoma. We can add two more matches tonight. First, Scott D’Amore leads the newest member of ‘Team Canada’, the Earthquake, into action as he meets the Ultimate Warrior. Also, the popular Native American, Tatanka, will be in action as he takes on the ‘Bad Boy’ Billy Black. Last week we heard from Sam Houston and Baby Doll. Let’s hear that again.”
Houston, “Kevin Sullivan, I don’t know what you’re up to, but Baby Doll and I have had enough! Keep your nose out of our business!”
Baby Doll, “Sam’s right, I don’t want any part of you. If you keep it up, I’m going to take care of you!”
Houston, “Sullivan, let’s settle this like men! Get in the ring with me in Tacoma, and I’ll teach you a lesson!”
Lowrance, “This week, we have an answer from Kevin Sullivan.”
We see Sullivan and a large hooded figure.
Sullivan, “Houston, you say you want me in the ring. You secretly fear me, and what I can do. You know the ‘Wicked Witch’ wants to join me. She wants to stand beside me as I take over the wrestling world. I know, and you know, you can’t beat me, but I will give you a chance. If you beat this man, I will leave you alone, and the ‘Wicked Witch’ can stay with you, you decide.”
Lowrance, “Well, I guess we wait for Sam, and Baby Doll, to reply. We can tell you the Tacoma Dome is sold out. But, you can still see the action on pay per view. Contact your local cable provider for ordering information.”

Men on a Mission vs. Killer Brooks and Richard Slinger
The giant rappers rap their way to the ring. Brooks and Slinger are rugged veterans, but the give up a lot of size. Mo starts with Brooks. Killer tries every dirty trick in the book. Mo is in control. He tags in Mable, the massive man goes to work.Brooks is able to tag in Slinger. He holds his own, but Mable hits the Samoan drop for the win.
Winners- Men on a Mission
Marc Lowrance is with the Bossman, Woman and Mr. Hughes.
Lowrance, “With me are the United States Champion, the Bossman, Mr. Hughes, and Woman. Woman, Dustin Rhodes continues to hunt the Bossman. He’s come close, a lot of people think he will eventually take the title.”
Woman, “Oh Marc, you’re so cute.the Bossman has held the title for several months, and that drugstore Cowboy hasn’t beat him. He’s not going to do it.”
Lowrance, “The Bossman better not take the Colorado Kid lightly.”
Woman, “We aren’t worried.”

The Bossman (United States Champion) w/Woman and Mr. Hughes vs. The Colorado Kid
The Kid moves quickly. He frustrates the big man. Bossman takes to the floor to confer with Woman. He returns and works over the Kid. He starts a comeback. Now he has the Bossman in retreat. Finally, the Champion takes over. He pounds away and hits the Bubba slam for the win.
Winner- The Bossman
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the show.
Tenay, “Dusty, the WWA gets hotter and hotter.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, I can’t believe what we’re seeing! It is getting hotter and hotter.”
Tenay, “Join us, next week, for more action.”
