Sting vs. The Brooklyn Brawler: The Brawler is no slouch, but he’s also no match for the Stinger! Sting scores a convincing win as he nails the Stinger Splash and then locks in the Scorpion Deathlock for a submission victory.

GENE: I am joined by the WCW World Champion, the man called Sting!!!
GENE: Sting, on May 30th, on the Clash of the Champions, live from the Hara Arena, you will defend that title against the man who many wrestling aficionados consider to be the greatest World Champion of all time...”Nature Boy” Ric Flair! Sting, you and Flair have had some classic battles in the past and I’m sure the match at the Clash will fit into that same category!
STING: OWWWWWWWWWWWWWW! Slick Ric, I’m glad that Mr. Bockwinkel signed this match! To be the man, you gotta beat the man! Face it, Nature Boy, you are still the man! So, nobody will take me seriously as champion until I beat you! Flair, there’s not a doubt in my mind that I can do it! The Road Warriors & Rick & Scott Steiner vs. CW Bergstrom, Galaxian #2, Nasty Ned Brady, & Billy Joe Travis: The Road Warriors and Steiners prepare for their upcoming 8 man tag match at the clash of the Champions! The announce team is a bit divided on the 8 man tag: Jesse says that the Warriors and Steiners have gotten soft and complacent over the last few years while Zybysko says this combination is almost impossible to beat. Tony interjects that their opponents, the Nasty Boys and the Hardliners had a meeting recently and our cameras were there for it! The faces get the duke here today as hawk pins Nasty Ned after the Warriors execuite a Doomsday Device.

Arn Anderson (w/Ric Flair) vs. Squire David Taylor(w/Lord Steven Regal): Double A gets ready for his World TV Title shot at the Clash with Lord Steven Regal by taking on Regal’s countryman, Taylor. If I know Regal, the plan is for Taylor to soften up Anderson before that match. Regal attempts to interfere several times, but Flair cuts him off each time. In the end, Anderson pins the Englishman after a spinebuster. The announce team agrees that if Arn hits that at the Clash, we’ll have a new TV Champion!

For his part, the nature Boy works as a subtle heel here. After a miscue by Blackman, Flair goes to work on Blackman’s leg and eventually locks in the figure four! Blackman submits, but Flair doesn’t release the hold and grabs the middle rope to make the hold almost impossible to break! Flair is yelling Sting’s name! He’s sending a message to the WCW World Champion!

As Flair refuses to relinquish the hold, Sting rushes in and forces him to break the hold! Sting and Flair are nose to nose! Arn Anderson comes in and stands by Flair’s side! WCW official Michael Hayes runs in, microphone in hand!
HAYES: OK, that’s enough! We’ve got a World Title match signed for the Clash and you can settle this then!

A white limo pulls into a grungy looking trailer park. The limo stops by a single wide that is covered with grafitti. Colonel Robert Parker and his Hardliners step out of the car and slowly walk to the trailer.
PARKER: Definitely beneath our standards, boys!
MURDOCH: Awwww, I’ve seen worse down in Ellis County!
Fuller knocks on the trailer door. Luna Vachon answers.
FULLER: Miss Luna!(kisses her hand) Absolutely lovely, as always!
LUNA: (Giggling) Why, thank, you, kind sir!
We enter the trailer. It’s a mess. A floor model TV is playing Headbanger’s Ball on MTV. Thee are pizza boxes, fast food bags, and Pabst Blue Ribbon cans strewn all over the floor. There is a pizza in a takeout box on the coffee table. Knobbs and Sags are lounging on a coach, eating slices.
KNOBBS: It’s the Hardliners! Welcome to our humble home! Have a slice of pizza! Want a beer?
PARKER: (looking around) What a nice place you have here!
Murdoch and Slater each take some pizza.
LUNA: I’ll get you some brewskies to wash that down!(leaves the room)
PARKER: Gentlemen, I asked for this meeting in order to discuss our strategy for the 30th…
LUNA: Here’s the beer, guys! (hands each hardliner a Pabst Blue Ribbon)
MURDOCH: Nice and cold! Thanks, darlin’!
KNOBBS: Look, General…

KNOBBS: Colonel, whatever! We don’t think we need strategy! Just mayhem and violence!
SAGS: Yeah, here’s how we see it: Hawk and Animal ain’t what they used to be! They came up on the streets like we did! They got civilized! They don’t live in places like this, they live in condos and drives Mercedes! They ain’t ready for a street fight!

He IS NOT their manager and he wanted Tony to tell the fans that Harlem Heat can stand on their on own and won’t need his help to win matches! That becomes obvious as they score a convincing win against two rugged opponents as Booker T pins Jackson after a Harlem Hangover.
