“Monday Night Thunder”

The program begins with a shot of the crowd. We see the clown entertaining the fans. Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes open the program.
Tenay, “Welcome fans. If you saw ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’, you know the world has changed. If you didn’t see it, here is what we are talking about.”
The Giant wins! He picks the Warrior up, and does it again. He starts to pick him up a third time, but something is happening in the aisle. We hear Mike Tenay say,
“Dusty, it’s, it’s…Hulk Hogan! Hulk Hogan!”
Rhodes, “Hulk Hogan is back! He’ll save the Warrior!”
Hogan climbs into the ring. He points at the Giant! Hogan bounces off the ropes, and drops the leg on…THE ULTIMATE WARRIOR!
Tenay, and Rhodes, “NOOOOOO! What is going on?
Tenay, “Dusty, I still can’t believe what I saw, this giant new man, and Hulk Hogan with Jimmy Hart.”
Rhodes, “Iron Mike, I don’t believe it, we need answers.”
Tenay, “We may be about to get some. Let’s go to the ring.”
We see Marc Lowrance in the ring.
Lowrance, “Fans, we need answers, maybe we’ll get some.”
Down the aisle comes Jimmy Hart, The Giant, and…Hulk Hogan. They enter the ring. The crowd boos loudly.
Lowrance, “Mr. Hart, why?”
Hart, “HAHAHA! If you ever doubted I was the smartest man in wrestling, never doubt it again. Through my many contacts I scouted and signed the Giant, the future of professional wrestling.”
Lowrance, “Hulk Hogan, what about you?”
Hogan, “You know something Marc Lowrance, I am the biggest name in wrestling, the legend, the icon. When I got hurt everyone forgot about me. They forgot about how I dominated wrestling for over ten years. I’ve known Jimmy Hart for a long time. He called me and said, I haven’t forgotten about you, join us, me and the Giant. Well brother, I did it, I’m heading back to the top of wrestling, and these two are going to help me get there, and to all the ‘Hulkamaniacs who abandoned me, you can stick it!”
Match #1
The Giant w/Jimmy Hart vs. “Desperado” Joe Gomez
The massive Giant is so impressive. Hogan has gone to the back, and the fans are still stunned. The Giant goes right after Gomez. He works over the youngster. Gomez tries to put up a fight, but the Giant is too much. He chokeslams Joe for the win. Jimmy Hart may well control wrestling.
Winner- The Giant
Match #2
Men on a Mission vs. The Assassins
The popular rappers arrive in the WWA. Oscar raps Mo and Mable to the ring. The masked men may be in trouble. The two monsters go to work. They tag in and out and dish out punishment. The crowd loves the big men. Mable gets Assassin II up on his shoulders. He hits the Samoan drop for the win.
Winners- Men on a Mission
Match #3
Terry Taylor vs. Bobby Duncum Jr.
The popular Taylor debuted a couple of weeks ago, and the veteran looks very sharp. Duncum is a fine young wrestler. The action is fast and furious. Both men are at the top of their games. Taylor is so smooth. He goes from move to move, and Duncum is in trouble. Taylor hits the flying forearm for the win.
Winner- Terry Taylor
Marc Lowrance is with Scott D’Amore and the Quebecers. D’Amore has a hockey stick with the Canadian flag attached.
Lowrance, “With me is Scott D’Amore and the Quebecers. Mr. D’Amore, your men debuted on ‘Saturday Night Wrestling’. They were very impressive.”
D’Amore, “Of course we looked good. Team Canada, with me leading, is heading for the top of tag team wrestling.”
Lowrance, “The tag team division in the WWA gets stronger every day. Earlier tonight, Men on a Mission debuted tonight, and other top names are here.”
D’Amore, “It doesn’t matter who else shows up, the Quebecers are headed to the top!”
All three men break into song, “Oh Canada, our home and native land.”

The Quebecers w/Scott D’Amore vs. Koko B. Ware and Brickhouse Brown
The Canadian team is very talented. D’Amore seems to have breathed new life into the team. D’Amore insists the Canadian National Anthem be played. The three men stand at attention. Jacques opens with Koko. The Canadian veteran goes to work. He takes Koko down, and works him over. Koko is in early trouble. Hevis able to escape, and tag in Brickhouse. Brown starts fast, but Jacques stops him, and tags in Pierre. The bigger Quebecer goes to work. He takes over and hits the elevated senton for the win.
Winners- The Quebecers

Marcus Alexander Bagwell vs. Billy Black
Young Marcus Alexander Bagwell debuts in the WWA. The young ladies take to him right away. The rugged Black is a good first test. Referee Scott Dickinson calls for the bell, and we are underway. Both men are very sharp. They go back and forth and neither man can gain the edge. Things begin to go Bagwell’s way, so Black tries to rough him up. It works for a while. Bagwell, makes a comeback, and wins with the blockbuster.
Winner- Marcus Alexander Bagwell
Marc Lowrance is with Konnan.
Lowrance, “With me is one of the stars of Mexican ‘Lucha Libre’, Konnan. Welcome to the WWA, and welcome to America.”
Konnan, “Thank you Marc, it’s a pleasure to be here.”
Lowrance, “You have wrestled several matches here, as have some of the other stars from Mexico. The fans have enjoyed the action.”
Konnan, “‘Lucha Libre’ is fast paced and exciting. Some of the best in the world have come here, and others are going to follow.”
Lowrance, “The fans will be looking forward to that. When we return, Konnan will be in the ring.”
Match #6
Konnan vs. Silver King
Konnan meets the veteran Silver King. The bell rings and we are underway. Konnan wants a fast pace, so Silver King stalls and slows things down. The early moments are a feeling out process. Konnan picks up the pace. Silver King fights back, and now we have a “Lucha” contest. Both men have their chances, but Konnan ends things with the tequila sunrise.
Winner- Konnan
Marc Lowrance is with Maxx Payne.
Lowrance, “With me is a newcomer to the WWA Maxx Payne. Maxx, I see you have your guitar with you.”
Payne, “That’s right Mark, I love two things, wrestling and heavy metal music. I’m combining the two. People kept telling me to go to the WWA, that’s where the talent is, and they’re right. I’ve got that big cowboy tonight, I can’t wait to teach him a lesson.”
Lowrance, “Maxx Payne meets Big John Hawk, let’s hear from Mr. Hawk.”
Big John Hawk is in an interview area.
Hawk, “Payne, listen to me you long haired hippie! I’m from Texas where all the men are tough. You’re stepping into the ring with a big cowboy who’s ready to teach you a lesson!”
Match #7
Maxx Payne vs. Big John Hawk
Two big men meet in this one. Referee Billy Silverman will have his hands full. The two behemoths circle one another. They lock up. Payne is a skilled amateur, and he takes Hawk down. Maxx controls the early action. Hawk fights back. He is a brawler. The action is exciting, and the fans love it. Both men end up brawling on the floor. Silverman’s count reaches ten. Both men have been counted out. This one isn’t over.
Result- Double Count Out
Mike Tenay and Dusty Rhodes close the program.
Tenay, “Dusty…”
Tenay is interrupted as the clown comes up to Dusty. He offers his hand to Rhodes, who takes it and begins to shake it. It’s a prosthetic, and comes off in Dusty’s hand. The clown laughs uproariously and skips away.
Tenay, “Well, as I was saying, things are getting even more exciting in the WWA.”
Rhodes, “That clown is something, I don’t know what to think.”
Tenay, “We are going to finish tonight with a big announcement. In two weeks we will present a main event that the world has been waiting years for. The Ultimate Warrior will take on…HULK HOGAN! This is a rematch years in the making.”
Rhodes, “Wow! Iron Mike, the WWA is on top of everything!”
Tenay, “And even more, both men will be here next week, and we will talk to them. Join us for ‘Monday Night Thunder’!”
